Abstract

The environment is a place for humans to live on earth, and the environment is something that cannot be separated from humans so that humans can naturally interact through their environment. A clean environment reflects the quality of life of a healthy community. Humans as caliphs on earth have an important role and obligation to protect and manage their environment properly, so as to create an environment that is clean, healthy, free from disease and free from natural disasters. In the teachings of Islam itself, cleanliness is mandatory and absolute. As the Prophet Muhammad always taught his people to always maintain cleanliness. However, keeping the environment clean is not as easy as imagined, there are still hands who are not responsible for the environment such as littering, even though keeping the environment clean only requires the awareness of all parties and layers of society to create a clean and comfortable environment. And in Islamic teachings about water, sanitation, cleanliness and environmental health, it turns out that all levels of society do not really know and understand it, so that infectious diseases often occur due to unclean water and poor sanitation. The Al-Qur'an and hadith are sources of Islamic teachings which clearly explain in them how humans should maintain health and environmental cleanliness. The hadiths studied are the hadiths contained in al-polar sittah. The method used in this research is normative empirical method. And to obtain data and information related to environmental hygiene and health, researchers used the library research method. In this case, it can be concluded that the concept of environmental hygiene and health in the hadith is the same as the concept of biocentrism environmental ethics, namely the theory that views every life and living creature as having value and worth so that humans have a moral obligation to the environment. Therefore, humans must always maintain the cleanliness of water sources, cleanliness of homes, cleanliness of public areas and not cut down trees and plants in public places without an unclear purpose.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the classroom arrangements at SDN Jrebeng Kidul are not good enough, the classroom conditions and active interactions during the learning process are not optimal, so this research aims to find out the effect of class management to the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Jrebeng Kidul, Probolinggo City. This research is a quantitative research. The research design used was the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, which only involved one class as the experimental class. Data collection methods used are questionnaires, learning achievement tests, observation and documentation. The results of inferential statistical analysis using the t test formula obtained a tCount of 8.02. With a frequency (dk) of 24-1 = 23, at a significant level of 5%, tTable = 2.068 is obtained because tCount > tTable at a significant level of 0.05, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the working hypothesis (H1) is accepted, which means the implementation of management class influences the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Jrebeng Kidul.

Abstract

The dichotomization of science and religion is actually a classic and prolonged problem, but along with changing paradigms and the development of scientific mastery in all fields, opportunities for the integration of science have opened wide. In fact, the sources of knowledge are integrated from the three major schemes, namely, natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities which actually originate from an integrative science building, namely the Qur'an and Hadith. In the Islamic concept, science begins with knowledge which is a manifestation of thoughts, feelings, beliefs and desires. However, in the western concept, the dichotomization of science is still seen with the separation between science and technology and IMTAQ, but this dichotomization does not last long, because it is increasingly clear that the development of science leads to one source, namely Allah SWT, so that it can be concluded that all branches of knowledge and knowledge contained in this universe is a unity of Islam, the wider the control, the more narrow the understanding.

Abstract

Multicultural education is an educational process that helps individuals develop ways of accepting, appreciating and participating in cultural systems that are different from their own. Research objectives 1) Describe the implementation of the multicultural education approach to social studies learning in developing students' cultural tolerance, student mutual cooperation tolerance, and student religious tolerance at Andungsari Elementary School. This research uses qualitative methods, research subjects use purposive techniques, data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Hubermas and Miles models. The validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. Research results 1) Implementation of a multicultural education approach to social studies learning in developing students' cultural tolerance through a culture of discussion. 2) Implementation of a multicultural education approach to Social Studies learning in developing students' mutual cooperation attitudes through cooperative activities 3) Implementation of a multicultural education approach to Social Studies learning in developing students' attitudes of religious tolerance a) respecting adherents of other religions, respecting fellow Muslims, b) Tolerance in religious activities Duha prayer in congregation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to develop interactive learning media using powerpoint-based animation in cell biology lessons and determine the feasibility of the media developed based on the results of validation by the validator. This study uses the ADDIE model of research and development (R&D) (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 1, 2 and 4 SMAN8 Medan. The trial was carried out in small groups to 15 students and large group trials to 50 students through a response questionnaire sheet. Based on the results of media expert validation, the overall aspect obtained an average score of 86.2% with a very decent category. The results of material expert validation obtained an average score of 75% with a decent category. The results of the validation of linguists obtained an average score of 93.6% with a very decent category. The results of the teacher's assessment response obtained an average score of 90.625% with a very decent category. The results of the student assessment responses in the small group trial obtained an average score of 94% and in the large group trial an average score of 87% was obtained in the very feasible category.

Abstract

The application of the make-a-match cooperative learning model can increase learning activities. This research was motivated by the application of the make-a-match type of cooperative learning model in class III of SD Negeri Banjarsari 1 which could increase mathematics learning activities, so researchers were interested in researching the application of make-a-match type cooperative learning models in increasing learning activities. The problems in this study are how they make a match type of cooperative learning model improve learning activities, what are the constraints of applying the make-a-match type cooperative learning model in increasing learning activities, and what are the efforts or solutions in dealing with obstacles in applying the make a match type cooperative learning model in improve learning activities. In data collection procedures using data collection methods with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study, the application of the make-a-match type of cooperative learning model can increase the mathematics learning activities of class III students of SD Negeri Banjarsari 1.

Abstract

This scientific paper discusses the importance of soft contact lens care knowledge for users in Padang Citra Optics. This study aims to determine: Knowledge, care  for users, the use , the impact of wearing and maintaining soft contact and also handling of the use and maintenance of soft contact lenses at Optik Citra Padang. This research design uses descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study was all patients wearing soft contact lenses at Optik Citra Padang in the period 15 July 2021-15 August 2021. Data were collected through questionnaires and research instruments using a Check List. The results showed that the respondents did not fully know the proper and correct care of soft contact lenses, this was seen as many as 24 respondents (53%) knew the correct soft contact lens care procedure and as many as 21 respondents (47%) did not know the treatment procedures. correct soft contact lenses, 21 respondents (47%) understand how to properly put on and remove soft contact lenses and 24 respondents (53%) do not understand how to properly install soft contact lenses, 20 respondents (44.40%) know about the impact of wearing and maintaining soft contact lenses that are not up to standard and as many as 25 respondents (55.60) do not know about the impact of wearing and maintaining soft contact lenses that are not up to standard, 14 respondents (31%) know how to handle the use and care of soft contact lenses and 31 respondents (69%) do not know how to handle from wearing soft contact lenses. There are several suggestionsFor RO to provide information to, For opticians, it is recommended to improve the quality of eye health services to the public, for academies, it is recommended to improve the quality of education. (4) For the public, it is recommended that when wearing and caring for contact lenses, more attention should be paid to use and care for them properly so as not to cause an impact on eye health.

Abstract

This paper discusses the comparison of the length of adaptation bifocal lenses and Progressive Addition Lenses (PALs) to patient comfort in optics Pariaman City. This study aims to reveal: (1) The effect of the use bifocal lenses and PALs on patient comfort in the optics Pariaman City, (2) The process of adaptating bifocal lenses and PALs to the comfort of activities patients in optics Pariaman City. The type of research used is a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were presbyopia patients who used bifocal lens glasses and PALs. Sampling using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and research instruments using a check list. The results of the research of respondents in the optics Pariaman City were 53 respondents including 18 respondents who wore bifocal lenses and 35 respondents who wore PALs. Respondents who felt the effect of using bifocal lenses and PALs in the optics of Kota Pariaman were 0 respondents (0%) and those who did not feel the effect of using bifocal lenses were 18 respondents (100%) and PALs were 35 respondents (100%). While the respondents who felt the process of adapting the use of bifocal lenses in the optics Pariaman City were 18 respondents (100%) and PALs were 35 respondents (100%) and 0 respondents (0%) did not feel the process of adaptation to the use of bifocal lenses and PALs. Based on the results of this study, there are several suggestions, namely: (1) It is recommended for researchers and RO to learn more material about lenses and lens adaptation process, (2) It is hoped the academy will add books reference sources about lenses and lens adaptation processes, (3) It is hoped that the public will ask the RO for education about lenses and lens adaptation before buying glasses.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian adalah penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan kreativitas siswa di kelas IV SDN Mangunharjo 1. Model pembelajaran PBL ini berpusat pada siswa, dan juga melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan pemecahan masalah, memberikan peluang siswa bekerja secara otonom dan menghasilkan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa hal ini ditunjukan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil nilai yang dicapai pada kegiatan tindakan siklus I ini didapatkan hasil dari kreativitas dan keaktifan pada pertemuan 1 dan 2 pertemuan pertama diketahui bahwa 17 siswa (60%) tuntas belajar dengan kategori kurang baik. Sedangkan 18 siswa (50%) dengan kategori gagal. Siswa yang sudah tuntas belajar belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal yaitu 75%. Sehingga ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal untuk siklus I belum berhasil. Berdasarkan hasil tes siklus I pertemuan Kedua di atas diketahui bahwa 20 siswa (65%) tuntas belajar dengan kategori kurang baik. Sedangkan 15 siswa (35%) dengan kategori gagal. Siswa yang sudah tuntas belajar belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal yaitu 75%. Sehingga ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal untuk siklus I belum berhasil. Sedangkan pada siklus 2 pertemuan pertama diketahui bahwa 21 siswa (80%) tuntas belajar dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan 4 siswa (20%) dengan kategori gagal. Sedangkan pertemuan Kedua diketahui bahwa 23 siswa (90%) tuntas belajar dengan kategori baik. 2 siswa yang lain (10%) dengan kategori gagal. Siswa yang sudah tuntas belajar sudah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal yaitu 85%. Sehingga ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal untuk siklus II berhasil. . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran (PBL) project based learning terhadap keaktifan dan kreativitas siswa berhasil. Disamping memberikan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan diri sesuai dengan bakat dan minat siswa pembelajaran aktif dan kreatif juga dapat mencapai tujuan belajar secara totalitas.

Abstract

This research was motivated by bullying behavior found at SDN Banjarsari 2 Probolinggo Regency, which had an impact on the victim's self-confidence. Based on observations, there are some students who lack self-confidence due to frequent bullying behavior carried out by their own friends. The purpose of this study was to know and analyze bullying behavior in increasing the self-confidence of high grade students of SDN Banjarsari 2. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used by researchers are wawamcara, obseravsi, and documentation. The results of this study show that there are two types of bullying behavior, namely physical and non-physical bullying. Physical abuse such as hitting, kicking, choking, and pushing. While non-physical bullying such as making fun, mocking, and calling by parents' names. The psychological impact caused to the victim includes heartache, feeling afraid, inferior, and not confident.
