Abstract

In the era of the digital world, where the development of technology in the visual field is currently very rapid, there are more and more ways to present information to the public. This is because the form of the delivery process is easy to understand to find or display information in the digital world. One of the most effective media in today's digital era is film, so a simpler and more effective means of socialization is needed, namely making documentary films. Pampang Cultural Village, one of the tourist and cultural areas of the Dayak tribe in Samarinda, East Borneo, Indonesia. A village with aesthetic educational value, especially related to history, traditions and cultural values of the ancestors which are still well preserved. In order to make this documentary film more interesting to watch and the audience can feel the meaning contained in this film, this film uses Cinematic Techniques by applying color grading. There are several techniques that can be considered in documentary films, namely content data in the form of audiovisual media, production processes including scenario writing, editing processes and directing techniques. With this documentary, it is hoped that local and foreign communities will know that there are educational and aesthetic tourist attractions about the customs and culture of the island of Borneo. This research will present the results of Cinematic Technique Analysis in the Implementation of Color Grading

Abstract

Tidal floods in the Semidang Alas Maras coast often occur and disrupt community activities. The height and area affected by tidal flood run-up is not the same every time. This research are to identify the factors that influence tidal floods and determine the effect of seasonal changes on tidal flooding run-up along Semidang Alas Maras coast by utilising measurement technology using drones. The method in this research is direct measurements of tides, visual photos topographic using drones, and also secondary data including tidal data from TMD model, rainfall, and wind data during tidal flooding. Based on the results of the study, it was found that tidal flooding run-up along Semidang Alas Maras coast was influenced by tides, high rainfall and wind. The mixed tide type of Semidang Alas Maras is Mixed Tide Prevailing Semidiurnal with a Formzhal number of 0.76. The area affected by the tidal flood run-up for the criteria of no danger and less danger every season is the same. Meanwhile, the criteria for moderately dangerous, dangerous and very dangerous vary every season. The highest area value occurring in the western season, the criteria for moderately dangerous 20% with an area of 83.06 Ha, 21% hazard with an area of 85.78 Ha, and very dangerous 23% with area of 93.95 Ha

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the stages of social penetration in women in building intimacy through the Bumble application where women are in control in starting conversations and in relationships. The method used is descriptive research with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with five informants who are active users of the Bumble online dating application. This study uses a supporting theory, namely social penetration by Altman & Taylor. Based on the results of the study, there are four stages of social penetration that are passed through by active users of the Bumble online dating application, namely orientation, affective exploration, affective exchange and stable exchange. However, not all informants can go through all stages and form new relationships (dating). This happens because in the process of the stages there is a mismatch at each stage, which causes the process of social depentration, or withdrawal. Unwanted factors and mismatches from informants cause the relationship to end, making the relationship unromantic or just friendship

Abstract

Tiktok is a social media platform that uses video features that can use background sound with a duration of approximately 15 seconds -3 minutes. Tiktok has another function, namely being able to build a virtual personal brand. A content creator and employee of the State-Owned Enterprises Agency (BUMN), namely Vina Muliana, is quite famous among the Indonesian people in distributing content packaged in a unique and fun way on the Tiktok account @vmuliana. This study aims to find out how Vina Muliana's Virtual Personal Branding is on her TikTok. Problems with the study The focus is on virtual personal branding and in her research, the theory of the four concepts of Authentic Building Success Personal Branding by Hubert K. Rampersad is used as a reference. Data was collected through interviews and video documentation uploaded to the Tiktok account @vmuliana using a qualitative approach. This study concludes that the virtual personal branding carried out by Vina Muliana @vmuliana fulfills the four concepts of personal branding that have been elaborated using virtual reality references, namely Virtual Authenticity, Virtual Consistency, Virtual Specialization, and Virtual Persistence

Abstract

The development of technology for the Internet of Things (IoT) is increasingly sophisticated, enabling humans to control devices with greater ease. This prototype is designed to contribute to the community, particularly in households, by providing convenience and comfort through home automation. The prototype incorporates several features, including the ability to turn lights on and off via a 5V relay. The doors and garages are equipped with MG90S micro servos, facilitating the opening and closing of these structures. The gate is operated by a DC motor, while the clothesline roof cover is designed to automatically adjust based on the external light conditions, opening and closing in response to changes in brightness. The operation of these systems is managed through the Blink application, which utilizes an Android mobile phone as the control interface

Abstract

This research aims to develop an IoT-based ship engine performance monitoring system to enhance operational efficiency in marine vessels. The study introduces a real-time monitoring prototype integrating sensors, microcontrollers, and cloud-based data visualization. The variables observed include engine temperature, RPM, and fuel consumption. The methodology follows a design and implementation approach, tested on a diesel-powered training ship over a two-week observation period. Data were collected continuously and analyzed to detect performance anomalies and efficiency trends. Results show that the system improves situational awareness and enables proactive maintenance decisions. The developed system has implications for reducing fuel costs, extending engine life, and supporting digital transformation in marine engineering operations

Abstract

This research presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based monitoring system for solar photovoltaic (PV) performance in shrimp aquaculture ponds. The system aims to optimize the use of solar energy for powering critical operations such as water pumps and aerators in off-grid environments. It integrates sensors, a microcontroller, and cloud-based data visualization to track parameters including panel voltage, current, temperature, and power output. A prototype was deployed in a shrimp farm over a two-week period, with continuous data logging and real-time monitoring. The results indicate improved energy management and system reliability, supporting operational efficiency and sustainability in aquaculture. This study contributes to smart aquaculture practices by introducing a scalable and low-cost renewable energy monitoring solution
