Abstract

This study aims to analyze the independence of notaries in reporting suspected money laundering (TPPU) committed by the complainant (client) in notarial practice. The main problem in this study is the form and limits of notary independence in carrying out reporting obligations on suspicious financial transactions that potentially contain elements of TPPU. This study uses a normative legal research method with a statutory approach to examine the legal provisions governing the obligations and legal protection for notaries, and a conceptual approach to describe the doctrines and theories related to professional independence, the principle of professional secrecy, and legal protection. The data used are secondary data obtained through literature studies, including primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials which are then analyzed qualitatively through legal interpretation and legal argumentation. The results of the study indicate that notary independence in reporting suspected TPPU is in a complex position because it must balance the obligation to maintain professional secrecy with the obligation to report to the relevant authorities. This independence is realized through compliance with statutory provisions and the principle of prudence as a form of legal protection for notaries.

Abstract

PPAT plays a significant role in promoting digital transformation in the land administration sector and in supporting the successful implementation of electronic land certificates in Indonesia. Within this system, the PPAT holds a highly strategic position because the deeds they issue serve as the legal basis for registering land rights in the electronic certificate issuance process.This study aims to examine the roles and responsibilities of PPATs in the registration of land rights within the electronic certification system. The research employs a normative juridical method by reviewing statutory regulations, legal literature, and policies related to the digitalization of land services The findings indicate that PPATs are responsible for accurately collecting data, applying valid digital signatures and completing and uploading electronic information in accordance with the established procedures, thereby ensuring legal certainty and the integrity of land-related transactions. Their responsibilities encompass administrative, legal, and ethical dimensions, including ensuring the completeness and accuracy of documents, validating the authenticity of deeds, safeguarding the rights of involved parties, and supporting government policies on land rights registration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Influencer Marketing on Impulse Buying with Self-Control as a mediating variable among Glad2Glow consumers. The research applies a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using SmartPLS 4 software. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Makassar, with a sample of 150 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The results show that FoMO has a positive and significant effect on Self-Control, while Influencer Marketing has no significant effect on Self-Control. Furthermore, Self-Control has a positive and significant effect on Impulse Buying, although the direction differs from the theoretical expectation. Both FoMO and Influencer Marketing have a positive and significant direct influence on Impulse Buying. In addition, Self-Control partially mediates the effect of FoMO on Impulse Buying but does not significantly mediate the effect of Influencer Marketing. These findings indicate that emotional drives caused by FoMO and the persuasive influence of social media influencers remain dominant factors that encourage impulsive buying behavior among Glad2Glow consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Events and Experiences in building JKT48 brand loyalty among fans residing in Denpasar. Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) marketing communication strategies, particularly those focused on events and live experiences, are the primary focus in consistently conveying brand messages and building emotional connections between JKT48 and its fans. Activities such as Mini Live Performances and Meet and Greets serve not only as promotional tools but also as memorable experiences that foster brand engagement and a sense of belonging. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by exploring the experiences of fans who actively participate in various JKT48 activities in Denpasar. The results show that direct event participation has a significant impact on the formation of fan loyalty, both emotionally and behaviorally. Positive experiences created through direct interactions strengthen the bond between fans and JKT48. These findings contribute to JKT48 management and the entertainment industry in designing experience-based communication strategies to increase brand loyalty and build sustainable long-term relationships with fans.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic use of Instagram as a promotional medium to build brand awareness at PTM Gunung Salak Denpasar. As a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME), PTM Gunung Salak utilizes digital media to expand promotional reach and enhance brand image. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants include the business owner, employees, and court renters selected through purposive sampling. The results indicate that Instagram serves effectively as a visual promotional tool and a two-way communication platform between the business and consumers. Through visual content such as photos, videos, and interactive features like Stories and Reels, PTM Gunung Salak successfully engages audiences, strengthens emotional connections, and increases brand awareness. However, challenges include inconsistent posting, suboptimal content quality, and limited audience interaction. Therefore, optimizing digital content strategies and enhancing visual communication are essential to reinforce brand awareness in the digital era.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of advertising strategies on digital platforms to increase engagement at PT. Kreasi Kualitas Utama. The purpose of this research is to understand how the company applies digital advertising strategies to attract audience attention, enhance interaction, and build long-term relationships with consumers. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the company’s digital marketing activities. The results show that PT. Kreasi Kualitas Utama utilizes various digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok by implementing visual marketing, storytelling, and influencer collaboration to strengthen brand image and improve user engagement. In addition, consistency in content presentation and the use of interactive features play an important role in maintaining audience involvement. In conclusion, the implementation of well-planned digital advertising strategies oriented toward audience needs has proven effective in increasing engagement and expanding the company’s brand reach.

Abstract

This study examines the role of marketing communication in shaping consumer loyalty toward the local product “Pusat Buah” in the digital era. The research focuses on how marketing communication strategies implemented by business actors create emotional attachment and consumer trust toward local products amidst increasingly open digital market competition. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews and observations with both consumers and the management of “Pusat Buah.” The findings reveal that consistent, informative, and interactive marketing communication through digital media plays an essential role in strengthening brand image and building long-term relationships with consumers. Furthermore, messages delivered through digital platforms such as social media and instant messaging applications serve as effective tools for maintaining consumer loyalty to local products. These findings confirm that marketing communication functions not only as a promotional tool but also as a strategic form of interaction that sustains consumer trust and commitment toward local brands in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the process of cultural acculturation occurring in the Balinese Muslim community in Pegayaman Village, Buleleng Regency, through Burdah art as a means of communication and cultural expression. This phenomenon demonstrates how the Muslim community in Pegayaman is able to combine Islamic values ​​with local Balinese wisdom in traditional art practices. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with George Herbert Mead's symbolic interaction theory as the basis of analysis, which focuses on the meaning of symbols and social interactions in shaping cultural identity. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of community leaders and Burdah artists. The results show that Burdah art is an important tool in preserving religious identity while unifying cultural differences between the Muslim and Hindu communities in Bali. Acculturation is evident in the blend of Islamic poetry with Balinese rhythms and traditional clothing, which demonstrate harmony, tolerance, and social harmony. These findings prove that traditional art can function as an effective medium of intercultural communication in creating a space for dialogue, maintaining local values, and strengthening the multicultural character of the Pegayaman community.

Abstract

The widespread use of social media has created new dynamics in adolescent social interactions, one of which is the emergence of the phenomenon of toxic online disinhibition, a psychological dynamic that causes differences in destructive behavior in the digital space. This phenomenon is found to be widespread among adolescent Instagram users in West Sumatra, most of whom are still in an unstable phase of self-control development. This study is important to examine the extent of the relationship between self-control and toxic online disinhibition in adolescent Instagram users. The research method used is a quantitative correlational approach with a sample of 400 adolescents aged 13–18 years selected using a cluster sampling technique. Data were collected using two scales: the self-control scale (Tangney et al., 2004) and the toxic online disinhibition scale (Udris, 2014 adapted by Mantara et al., 2023), and analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results show a negative relationship between self-control and toxic online disinhibition, meaning that the lower the adolescent's self-control ability, the lower their tendency to display negative behavior on Instagram.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between academic achievement in the Leadership course and student character development, particularly in the aspect of independence, among Culinary Arts Study Program students of the class of 2023 at Medan State University. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a correlational design, involving 60 participants with a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through documentation of academic grades and a questionnaire consisting of 10 statements with a four-point Likert scale. The results of the validity test showed that all items were valid with correlation values between 0.818 and 0.932, while the reliability test showed a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.972, indicating very good consistency. The data were also normally distributed and the relationship between variables showed linear properties. Through the Pearson correlation test, an r value of 0.923 was obtained with a significance level of 0.01, which indicates a very strong and significant relationship between learning outcomes, leadership and student independence character. These findings underscore that leadership learning plays a vital role in instilling the values of responsibility, discipline, and independence in students, as well as strengthening aspects of character development in higher education as preparation for the world of work and social interaction.
