Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an educational board game titled "The 4 Obligatory Attributes of the Prophets" as an engaging and effective learning medium for Islamic Creed (Aqidah) and Morals (Akhlak) to enhance the understanding of elementary school students aged 9–10 years. The background of this research is the necessity for innovative and interactive learning media to instill the fundamental concepts of Aqidah and Akhlak, particularly regarding the four obligatory attributes of Prophet Muhammad SAW, in students. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The board game design process includes analyzing the needs of students and teachers, designing fun and educational game mechanics, developing game components (board, cards, pawns, and rules), validation by material experts and media experts, and limited trials with target students. The research is expected to produce a valid, practical, and effective board game in improving students' understanding of the four obligatory attributes of the Prophets (Siddiq, Amanah, Tabligh, and Fathonah), thus providing an attractive alternative learning medium for elementary school teachers.

Abstract

Surabaya as one of the largest metropolitan cities in Indonesia, which often faces various complex social and economic challenges. One of them is the increasing number of suicide cases, which is a serious concern for local governments, communities, and mental health organizations. Suicide itself is an act of someone who deliberately ends their life. In the book Hygiene Mental released by Kartini Kartono, it is explained that suicide is one way to escape from the real world. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach method. Qualitative research is research that examines the perspectives of participants with interactive and flexible strategies. The planning of this Self Reward educational campaign uses quantitative and qualitative methods. This second option was chosen because the design requires relevant data. To obtain more in-depth information about the phenomena found, data from the questionnaire alone is not enough, the quantitative method uses a questionnaire as a data collection technique, while the qualitative method uses observation and interviews. The design of this educational campaign uses an attractive and educational visual concept with a minimalist style, pastel colors, and illustrations that suit the character of Muslim women aged 19-24 years. The campaign targets active audiences on social media and Islamic self-development, through online media (Instagram) and offline (studies, workshops) to expand the reach of the message. The design of this educational campaign aims to increase awareness of Muslim women aged 19–24 years about the importance of self-reward as a form of positive, meaningful self-esteem, and in line with Islamic values. This campaign uses attractive visual and digital media to change negative views about self-reward, and encourage Muslim women to value themselves more in order to maintain their mental and emotional health.

Abstract

Technology has brought about significant changes in the educational landscape, particularly in the way students access and analyze data. Determining how well seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 19 Palembang use technology as a learning aid was the aim of this study. Students were given questionnaires to complete and observations were made using quantitative approaches. 48.42% of pupils had strong technology use skills, according to the data, while none of the kids fell into the low category. Despite the fact that the majority of students are used to using digital devices and online learning platforms, these findings show that they still need to enhance their digital literacy in order to use technology more responsibly and efficiently. This study demonstrates how crucial the school environment, instructors, and counselors are in offering continuous assistance on digital literacy. Furthermore, to improve the efficiency of technology utilization in the educational process, systematic training is required. The technology acceptance model (TAM) focuses on how technology might facilitate learning and how easy it is to use in order to understand students' adoption of it.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought significant transformation in marketing strategies, especially in building brand image professionally. One of the local products that utilize YouTube social media intensively is Sirup Marjan, which is widely known in Indonesia as a beverage product that is synonymous with the moment of Ramadan. This study aims to identify and analyze the role of Youtube social media in shaping Sirup Marjan's professional image through content strategy, utilization of social media platforms, and emotional approaches in its digital campaigns. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach and observation of Marjan's digital activities on the YouTube platform. The results show that digital media is not only a promotional tool, but also a key tool in building emotional closeness with audiences, strengthening brand storytelling, and increasing consumer loyalty. Through consistent visualization, evocative narratives, and collaboration with influencers and content creators, Sirup Marjan has succeeded in shaping professional, relevant, and aspirational brand perceptions in the minds of consumers. In addition, the annual Ramadhan-themed campaign became a strategic momentum to strengthen the brand identity that is religious, and has a value of togetherness. The conclusion of this research shows that digital media plays an important role in the process of forming a strong and sustainable branding image, especially for products that want to maintain their existence and competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of physical training and motor skills on the performance of novice Badminton athletes. The method used in this research is quantitative method using associative approach. Quantitative research is a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, which is used to examine certain populations or samples with 35 respondents. The results showed that Physical Training (X1) on Badminton Athlete Performance These results show that the t value for the variable (X1) Physical Training is greater than the t table, namely 2.082> 1.69236, and the Sig value for the variable (X1) Physical Training is less than 0.05, namely 0.002 <0.05. Motor Skills shows that the t value for the variable (X2) Motor Skills is greater than the t table, which is 3.455 > 1.69236, and the Sig value for the variable (X2) Motor Skills is also less than 0.05, which is 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ha2 is accepted and Ho2 is rejected. Physical Training (X1) and Motor Skills (X2) on the Performance of Badminton Y Athletes simultaneously show the results of the F test showing that the calculated F value is greater than the F table, which is 30.700> 3.29, and the Sig value is also less than 0.05, which is 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that in the F test, Ha3 is accepted and Ho3 is rejected. This means that simultaneously, Physical Training (X1) and Motor Skills (X2) have a significant influence on the Performance of Badminton Athletes as variable Y.

Abstract

21st century education demands the development of essential skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Inquiry learning strategies, which focus on students' active involvement in the exploration and investigation process, are one of the relevant approaches to address these challenges. This study aims to identify integration patterns and contributions of inquiry learning strategies to the development of 21st century skills that are trending research references and challenges in their implementation through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The literature was collected from scientific databases such as Scopus, ERIC, and Google Scholar, with a publication period between 2016–2024. The results of the analysis of 21 selected articles showed that inquiry strategies have integration patterns in guided inquiry, problem-based learning (PBL), and project-based learning (PjBL) learning models, contributing to developing analytical thinking patterns, freedom to explore, training teamwork, and fluent interaction. Inquiry is an adaptive strategy in various learning contexts, but systemic and technical obstacles are still found in its implementation.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is whether implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve the learning outcomes of class X - 7 students of SMA Negeri 3 Rantau Utara in the 2024 - 2025 academic year. This study aims to improve problem-solving knowledge in order to improve student learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in order to improve the learning of class X - 7 students of SMA Negeri 3 Rantau Utara. This type of research is classroom action research using quantitative techniques, namely research that explains the efforts made to increase student interest in learning in the student learning and teaching process. The subjects in this study were all students in grades X – 7 consisting of 36 students. From the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the application of the problem based learning model can actually increase student activity as seen from the increase in student activity and student learning outcomes in learning. This can be seen from the learning outcomes through the post-test in cycle I, where the number of students who completed was 20 people or 56% while the learning outcomes in cycle II, students who completed were 26 people or 72%. In cycle III, the number of students who completed was 35 people or 97%. So the increase from cycle I to cycle II reached 16%. The increase has not reached the achievement so that cycle III was carried out to achieve an increase of 25% resulting in an achievement of 97% as many as 35 students with a complete value. Abstract

Convection businesses are part of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that play an important role in creating jobs and providing livelihoods, especially in the Simpang Aur Market, Bukittinggi. This study aims to analyze the influence of social networks on the sustainability of convection businesses based on Mark Granovetter's social network theory and John Elkington's sustainability theory. The research uses a quantitative inferential approach with a population of 720 traders. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in 88 samples. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using correlation tests, simple linear regression, t-tests, and determination coefficients. The results show that there is a significant influence of social networks on business sustainability (r = 0.545; t = 6.028; p < 0.05), with a contribution of 29.7%. In conclusion, social networks have a significant influence on the sustainability of convection businesses.

Abstract

Indonesia is a multicultural country with high religious diversity, so interfaith harmony is an important aspect in maintaining social stability. The family as the smallest social unit has a strategic role in shaping the values of tolerance and peaceful religiosity. This research aims to analyze the role of interpersonal communication in the family in instilling the value of religious harmony to family members, especially children. This research uses a literature study approach or Library research as the main method. The literature study is conducted by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing various relevant literature sources, both in the form of scientific journals, books, and other academic documents that discuss interpersonal communication in the family and the values of religious harmony. The results of the study show that interpersonal communication based on openness, empathy, and respect for differences is an effective means of transmitting religious tolerance values. This communication pattern strengthens emotional bonds in the family, so as to create a dialogical atmosphere that supports the cultivation of moderate and inclusive religious values. Thus, families through interpersonal communication contribute greatly in shaping individuals who are able to live in harmony amidst differences in beliefs, and become agents of peace in the wider community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between psychological well-being and employee work engagement at CV Sentosa Abadi. This research approach uses a quantitative method with 108 employees as research subjects with the criteria of employees who are still working at CV Sentosa Abadi for at least 6 months. The data collection tool used PWB-18 questionnaire and UWES-9 questionnaire while data analysis used the Spearman Rank correlation test with a p-value ≤ 0.05. The results showed that 70 employees were in the moderate category for psychological well-being and 51 employees were in the very high category for work engagement. The results of the correlation test showed that the relationship between psychological well-being and work engagement was 0.492 in the fairly strong category with a p-value of 0.000000059 ≤ 0.05, which means there is a significant relationship between the two variables. The higher the psychological well-being so the higher the employee's work engagement and so does the opposite.
