Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based sales system for Toko Murah Meriah Fashion in Ponorogo City to address issues related to transaction recording, stock management, and product sales, which were previously handled manually. These issues led to inefficient sales processes and a high risk of data errors. To overcome these problems, the Waterfall software development method was applied, consisting of the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature study. The system was developed using XAMPP as a local server, CodeIgniter 3 as the PHP framework, MySQL as the database, and Bootstrap to support a responsive user interface. Based on the results of analysis and testing using the black-box method, the system was successfully implemented and capable of performing all its functions effectively, including managing product data, orders, payments, and customer transaction history. With the implementation of this system, the sales process becomes more structured, faster, and efficient.

Abstract

Bikin Aplikasi DEV is a freelance group specializing in online application and website development, often facing challenges in determining project priorities effectively. Limited resources and multiple incoming project requests make decision-making crucial. This study aims to develop a decision support system to assist the team in prioritizing projects objectively. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to assign weights to each criterion based on their level of importance, while the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is applied to calculate project scores based on these weights. The implementation results show that the system can generate project rankings that align with the team’s needs and help optimize time and resource allocation. This system offers a practical and adaptive tool for freelance teams in project management, particularly when dealing with simultaneous project demands.

Abstract

Transformator merupakan komponen penting dalam sistem kelistrikan, namun proses pembuatan transformator secara manual masih memiliki keterbatasan dari sisi efisiensi dan akurasi jumlah lilitan. Penelitian ini merancang dan membangun mesin penggulung lilitan kawat transformator otomatis berbasis Arduino Uno dengan kontrol motor stepper melalui driver L298N, serta antarmuka LCD 16x2 untuk menampilkan jumlah lilitan. Sistem ini dilengkapi push button sebagai penentu jumlah lilitan dan potensiometer untuk mengatur kecepatan putaran motor. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa mesin ini mampu bekerja dengan tingkat presisi tinggi, dengan selisih jumlah lilitan hanya 1–3 lilitan pada setiap pengulangan dan perbedaan kecepatan motor stepper sebesar 2–3 RPM. Dengan demikian, mesin ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi produksi transformator serta mengurangi potensi kesalahan manual. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menambahkan mekanisme penggerak kawat otomatis agar distribusi lilitan lebih merata.

Abstract

Cash flow management is a crucial aspect of maintaining liquidity and business continuity, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). However, manual bookkeeping methods that are still widely used often lead to several problems, such as delays in financial reporting, recording errors, and inadequate data security. This article presents a theoretical review of the concepts of information systems, cash inflows and outflows, databases, programming, and data security that are relevant to the development of financial information systems. Based on the literature review, information systems integrated with databases and equipped with security features can improve the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of financial records. This study emphasizes that the application of technology-based information systems not only supports the preparation of financial statements but also serves as an essential foundation for managerial decision-making and strategic business planning.

Abstract

One of the activities in the supply chain system in the motorcycle industry is the process of sending components or spare parts from vendors to motorcycle assembly plants. Delivery of spare parts using the respective vendor's fleet. Along with the increase in market demand, demand for components from vendors has also increased. This has an impact on increasing the number and frequency of fleets entering the factory area; besides that, there is also an increase in transportation costs from Vendors. This study aims to improve efficiency in the number, frequency, and cost of fleet transportation by using the VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem) approach. To get optimal results, the PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) method was used by utilizing the MATLAB 2020 software. This research involved 40 vendors, logistics partners, and motorcycle assembly factories. The results of this study showed better results, namely, before the research was carried out, the number of fleets was 40 units, and the delivery frequency was 40 times, with a total shipping cost of IDR 2,769,330. Meanwhile, after conducting research using the PSO optimization method, it was obtained that the number of delivery frequency fleets was 8 times with a total shipping cost of IDR 2,679,113.

Abstract

Global climate change driven by greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, particularly carbon dioxide (CO₂), has become the greatest challenge of this century. At the same time, the accumulation of plastic waste has emerged as a massive environmental crisis. This paper examines the potential utilization of plastic waste into paving blocks as a carbon mitigation strategy and a waste management solution. This approach not only reduces the volume of plastic waste in the environment but also has the potential to lower the carbon footprint of conventional construction material production and contribute to the circular economy. The analysis involves a comparison of the carbon footprint between plastic-based and conventional paving blocks, as well as an estimation of the carbon mitigation potential at various scales of implementation. The findings indicate that material substitution and the incorporation of plastic into durable products offer significant contributions to emission reduction and foster sustainable development.

Abstract

The Short Index of Job Satisfaction (SIJS) is a measurement tool that implements a general theory of job satisfaction with a unidimensional model. This scale is used to measure job satisfaction among employees in general, with a total of five items adapted into Indonesian. The purpose of this study was to test the validity and reliability of the job satisfaction construct among employees. The research subjects were employees in the Greater Jakarta area (N=112). Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to test the construct of this instrument using MPlus7 software, and reliability testing was conducted using SPSS23 software. The results showed that there were four items in the Short Index of Job Satisfaction (SIJS) that measured job satisfaction, while one item was found not to measure job satisfaction. The reliability test yielded a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.766. These findings support the use of this general job satisfaction measurement as an acceptable tool for measuring job satisfaction. Further research could test this on other samples (e.g., more specific occupational groups), including in other countries/cultures, to evaluate the cross-cultural invariance of the SIJS.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages educational institutions to optimize administrative systems, including financial expenditure management. Currently, Universitas Catur Insan Cendekia does not have a digitalized system to record and manage financial expenditures, resulting in inefficient processes and a higher risk of errors. This research aims to design and develop a web-based financial expenditure application using the Laravel framework with the Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM) as the development approach. DSDM was chosen because it enables a flexible, iterative, and adaptive development process that aligns with user needs. The application provides key features such as expenditure submission, verification, validation, fund disbursement, transaction recording, and financial report generation. The results of this study show that the developed system improves work efficiency, recording accuracy, and transparency in financial management. Therefore, this application is expected to serve as an effective solution to support better financial governance within Universitas Catur Insan Cendekia.

Abstract

Floods are a natural disaster that often occurs in Malaka Barat District, Malaka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, especially due to the overflow of the Benainai River. Every year, floods cause material losses and disrupt community activities. However, until now there has been no clear mapping of areas that are potentially prone to flooding in the region. This study aims to map potential flood-prone areas based on WebGIS using the Weighted Overlay method in Malaka Barat District. This method combines five main parameters, namely elevation, slope, distance from the Benainai River, soil type, and land use, which are weighted based on their level of influence on flood events. The results of the analysis will be visualized in the form of a digital map classified into three levels of vulnerability: low, medium, and high. The WebGIS system developed will facilitate access to information for the community and stakeholders in flood disaster mitigation efforts. This research is expected to be a tool in spatial planning and decision making to reduce the impact of flooding in the area.

Abstract

This study aims to design UI/UX of IngatCare, a mobile-based medication reminder application for hypertensive patients using the Double Diamond methodology, which consists of four stages: Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver. The design process began with interviews involving ten hypertensive patients to identify user needs, followed by the development of user personas, How Might We analysis, wireframe creation, and high-fidelity prototype design using Figma. The resulting prototype includes key features such as medication reminders, blood pressure recording, notification settings, and user guidance. Usability testing was carried out with ten respondents using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) and System Usability Scale (SUS). The SEQ results showed an average score of ≥6 across all scenarios, while the SUS obtained a score of 85, which falls into the Excellent category. The IngatCare prototype is proven to be user-friendly and aligned with the needs of hypertensive patients in managing their medication independently. Therefore, the IngatCare prototype is considered feasible to be further developed as a digital solution to improve medication adherence in hypertensive patients
