Abstract

The Economic Value Added (EVA) method is very important in assessing financial performance comprehensively because it considers the cost of capital and measures the actual added value for shareholders. The purpose of this study is to determine financial performance based on the Economic Value Added (EVA) method at PT. Xl Axiata Tbk. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a list of ratio tables as research instruments. The research population is for 18 years with a research sample for 10 years using the purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques use documentation and literature studies. Data analysis techniques use Economic Value Added analysis, descriptive analysis and t-test. The results of the study show that the financial performance of PT XL Axiata Tbk, based on the EVA method, is not optimal in creating sustainable economic added value. This is indicated by the EVA value which is always negative (EVA <0) every year.

Abstract

The selection process for regional scholarship recipients often involves multiple criteria and a large number of applicants. This situation can make it difficult for the local government to make objective and efficient decisions. This study aims to design a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist the local government, particularly in Sikka Regency, in the scholarship recipient selection process. The MABAC method was chosen as the calculation method in this Decision Support System because of its capability to handle multi-criteria problems and produce accurate results.The system is expected to select prospective scholarship recipients objectively, transparently, and efficiently. This research produces an information system that can assist the local government in decision-making regarding scholarship determination. By using this system, the selection process is expected to become faster, more accurate, and accountable. In addition, the system can provide recommendations to the local government regarding current scholarship policies

Abstract

This study aims to predict the price of the XRP cryptocurrency using deep learning methods, specifically Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU). Given that high price volatility can pose challenges for investors, this study analyzes and compares the effectiveness of the two models in processing complex time series data. In addition, this study also evaluates the influence of external factors such as price volatility and market sentiment on prediction accuracy. It is hoped that the results of the study can provide valuable insights for investors and traders in formulating more appropriate investment strategies, as well as contributing to the development of new methods in financial data analysis and crypto price prediction, so that this study is relevant to both academics and practitioners in the financial industry

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is an essential process for understanding user perceptions of a product, especially in digital platforms such as social media. This study aims to classify sentiment in user comments about skincare products—particularly Somethinc—into three categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The data used consists of user-generated comments that have undergone text preprocessing steps, including case folding, tokenization, removal of special characters, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming. Three classification methods were applied in this research: Support Vector Machine (SVM), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). Based on evaluation results, the SVM method achieved the highest accuracy at 94%, followed by RNN at 86% and CNN at 85%. These results indicate that machine learning and deep learning approaches are effective in classifying public opinions about skincare products and can serve as a reference for producers to automatically understand consumer responses.

Abstract

This research is entitled “Responsive Bandung Bawah Tanah Website UI/UX Design”. Bandung Bawah Tanah is a website created to meet the needs of building cultural narratives about the independent music scene in Bandung and Indonesia, to become a bridge between the music community and the academic realm, technically this website is used as an information and communication channel for music activists to jointly conduct research, writing, and building narratives about the underground music scene. The research objective intends to create a UI/UX design design model using the Human Centerd Design (HCD) approach. Using this HCD approach will ensure that this website is not only informative, but also provides an optimal user experience, so that it can be easily accessed by various groups, especially the younger generation who are the main targets.

Abstract

Financial performance reflects a company's position compared to other companies in the same industry, which is measured through annual returns by assessing a company's performance based on its financial statements. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the significant differences in the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio trends between Alfamart and Indomaret. This type of research is comparative by using a table list of ratio components as a research instrument. The population in this study is all Alfamart financial statements from 1989 to 2025, which is 36 years, and Indomaret since being listed on the IDX from 1988 to 2025, which is 37 years. The sample in this study is the financial statements of Alfamart and Indomaret for 5 years, namely from 2019 to 2023. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use documentation and literature studies, then data analysis techniques use descriptive tests, normality tests, and different tests. The results of the study show that there is a difference between Debt to equity at Alfamart and Indomaret while the Current Ratio does not have a significant difference.

Abstract

In the digital era, advancements in transportation services are increasing, including the presence of online motorcycle taxis such as Grab as a form of technological innovation. One of the services that is growing rapidly in Indonesia is Grab. This study aims to assess the level of satisfaction of Grab application users in the Tegal City Station area. The approach applied in this study is quantitative, with the Naive Bayes algorithm used as the data analysis technique. Naive Bayes is a classification method based on the principles of probability and statistics, which is effective in processing text data. Data were collected through the distribution of online questionnaires to 98 respondents who are active users of the online motorcycle taxi application (Grab) at Tegal City Station. The variables measured include perceived usefulness (Perceived Usefulness), perceived ease of use (Perceived Ease of Use), and user satisfaction level. The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents are satisfied with Grab services, especially in terms of the application's ease of use. Thus, it can be concluded that the Grab application is able to provide a positive experience for users at Tegal City Station.

Abstract

The advancement of the smart city concept in Indonesia has driven numerous regions to explore smart mobility as a practical response to urban transportation challenges. Smart mobility is regarded as a strategic solution due to its potential to develop transportation systems that are integrated, efficient, eco-friendly, and technology-oriented. This research aims to assess both the readiness and implementation of smart mobility across various cities and districts in Indonesia. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA framework, the study analyzes 13 selected articles that fulfill predefined inclusion criteria. The review uncovers disparities in regional preparedness; Jakarta is considered highly ready, Mandalika falls into the conditional readiness category, while Batam remains in the early development stage. Implementation strategies also differ, with Jakarta applying a comprehensive model and Bandung adopting a more fragmented approach. Key enablers include the presence of physical and digital infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, quality transportation services, capable human resources, sufficient funding, and public awareness. On the other hand, notable challenges include financial constraints, infrastructure damage, limited coordination between institutions, low digital literacy, technical failures, and the absence of standardized regulations. Consequently, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, enhancing local capabilities, and ensuring continuous monitoring are essential steps toward achieving inclusive and sustainable smart mobility implementation in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based information system to facilitate the monitoring process of the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) activities conducted by partners of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in Luwu Timur Regency. The main issues identified include the use of manual methods, such as Google Sheets for partner monitoring, and the Pencil and Paper Interviewing (PAPI) method for marking survey area coordinates, both considered inefficient and prone to errors. The system development employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which allows for an iterative process and active user involvement in every development phase. The result of this study is an information system equipped with project management features, real-time partner monitoring, survey reporting through document uploads, and survey location tracking integrated with OpenStreetMap using the Leaflet.js library. The developed system has proven effective in enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of  SUSENAS field operations.

Abstract

Education is a crucial aspect in developing high-quality human resources. Kupang City, the largest city on Timor Island, has 62 senior high schools offering various advantages. However, the wide range of options often makes it difficult for students and parents to choose a school that suits their needs. The selection process, which is often carried out subjectively, can lead to less optimal decisions. This study aims to develop a decision support system to assist in selecting the best senior high school (SMA). The method used in this research is the WASPAS method, which has the advantage of producing optimal decisions by considering both the maximum and minimum values of the criteria simultaneously, making it suitable for decision-making problems involving specific criteria. The expected outcome of this research is to help parents and students in choosing the best senior high school
