Abstract

The incidence of premature rupture of membranes ranges from 5-10% of all partum. Preterm PROM occurs in 1% of all pregnancies, 70% of cases occur in term pregnancies and 30% of occurrence of PROM causes of premature birth. This study aimed to determine the correlation between anemia and the incidence of premature rupture of membranes at Regional Public Hospital of Panembahan Senopati Bantul in 2016-2017. The research design was analytic survey method using retrospective time approach. The sample technique used total sampling of 172 mothers with premature rupture of membranes. Based on data analysis it was found that partum women with mild anemia, as many as 155 respondents (90.1%), had premature rupture of membrane PROM 37 weeks, while partum women with moderate anemia, as many as 6 respondents (5.0%), experienced premature rupture of membranes PPROM 37 weeks . Chi Square statistical test results with a significant level of 0.05 obtained p value= 0.001 (p value 0.005). There was a correlation between anemia and the incidence of premature rupture of membranes at Regional Public Hospital of Panembahan Senopati Bantul in 2017. Health workers should provide good ANC services in order to prevent anemia that affects the incidence of premature rupture of membranes.

Abstract

Non-compliance by health workers, especially nurses, with the practice of hand hygiene was often associated with the incidence of nosocomial infections in hospitals. Nosocomial infection cases at Pertamina Bintang Amin Hospital, namely issues of phlebitis, were as much as 0.2%. The nurse compliance rate of 86.25% was still far from the target of achieving 100%. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of factors related to hand hygiene compliance at Pertamina Bintang Amin Hospital, Bandar Lampung. This study used a cross-sectional method. Respondents in this study were 113 nurses at Pertamina Bintang Amin Hospital. Univariate and bivariate data were analyzed using the chi-square test at a 95% confidence level, and multivariate data were analyzed using logistic regression. This study's results indicated no correlation between knowledge, availability of facilities, and supervision of the headroom. There was a correlation between the variables of attitude and motivation. The motivational variable was the most dominant influence on adherence (odds ratio exp (B) 3.310). It was expected that the hospital needs to give awards to nurses who carry out hand hygiene compliance properly and provide sanctions for nurses who do not comply with hand hygiene properly.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the correlation between the parents role and women's marital age in the Religious Affairs Office of Kasihan district. The study used a cross sectional approach and the type of descriptive correlational study. The subjects of the study were 48 brides who were going to get married at the Religious Affairs Office of Kasihan district which were retrieved using quota sampling method. The study used bivariate chi square analysis. The results of the study revealed that most respondents got married at mature ages namely 21 - 34 years old. There is a correlation between parents role and women’s marital age in the Religious Affairs Office of Kasihan district with a significance value of 0,000 (p 0,05) and the value of the correlation coefficient was 0,558. The Religious Affairs Office of Kasihan district should continue to cooperate with Kasihan Health Center to develop the implementation of the bridal class program and reproductive health education for prospective brides.

Abstract

MMR and IMR in the world as well as in Indonesia are still a serious problem because this figure is an indicator of national health. The common cause of infant and neonatal mortality in Bantul Regency is low birth weight (LBW). One of the factors causing LBW is maternal disease factors that are directly related to pregnancy. One of them is preeclampsia. The purpose of this study was to determine the Correlation between Preeclampsia and the Incidence of Low Birth Weight Infants (LBW) at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital in 2019. The design of this study used the correlation analytical method with a case control approach. The sampling method in this study used total sampling technique with the total sample size of the study were 174 newborns. The data collection technique used secondary data by collecting baby medical record data and maternal medical record data. The analysis technique used the chi square test. Babies who experienced LBW were as many as 87 (50%), did not experience LBW as many as 87 (50%), those who had preeclampsia were 45 (25.9%), did not experience preeclampsia as many as 129 (74.1%). The results of the study based on the chi square test showed that there was no correlation between preeclampsia and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) with p = 0.863 and an odds ratio of 0.942. The conclusion is that there is no correlation between preeclampsia and the incidence of low birth weight babies (LBW), the p value is 0.863 0.05. It is suggested that further analysis of other maternal factors on the incidence of low birth weight in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital.

Abstract

More than 80% of premature infants are born between 32-37 weeks of age have low birth weight and die due to lack of care, such as breastfeeding which LBW urgently needs. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is the main place to deal with LBW which provides the needed care such as information on LBW care and optimal nutrition by breastfeeding. Scoping review is to describe The Experience of Breastfeeding Mothers with Low Birth Weight in NICU. The method used is consists of 6 stages, namely identifying questions with the PEOS Framework, identifying relevant studies, selecting studies using inclusion and exclusion criteria, conducting critical-appraisals to assess the quality of literature, performing data extraction, PRISMA Flowchart. 12 selected literatures with good quality. Five themes are emerged from the results namely factors affecting breastfeeding, barriers to breastfeeding, impact, and the support that should be given. LBW makes a lack of milk production so that the mother experiences stress, depression, disappointment, anxiety and fatigue. The Lack of support from health workers which still makes mothers confused about proper baby care. So that the success of breastfeeding at LBW on average is less than optimal. There is a need for further research on the effect of psychological support by health workers in the achievement of breastfeeding success in NICU-based LBW

Abstract

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is the most commonly used imaging diagnostic to determine the tubal patency in patient with indications of infertility. The technique used in the HSG procedure is different in some studies. The aim of this study was to determine the technique of hysterosalpingography (HSG) examination with patients suspected of infertility in dr.R. Soetrasno Rembang hospital. The method was a case study approach. Results showed HSG examination using plain photo Anteroposterior (AP) projection, AP projection with 3 cc contrast media and 7 cc contrast media, then post evacuation. The AP projection already revealed uterus, fallopian tubes, spill on the peritoneum, reduce radiation dose, and the pain of patients. They used 3 cc and 7 cc of contrast media because the examination did not use fluoroscopy. The 3 cc of contrast media views the uterus only then 7 cc view the fallopian tube and its spill. HSG plays a crucial role to determine the cause of infertility, especially to evaluate the morphology and patency of the fallopian tubes in women so the radiology team should become familiar with examination techniques used, give the patient education to avoid movement, and hold their body motionless also taking a mild pain reliever before the HSG examination.
