Abstract

Poverty is one of the factors to see the welfare of the people in an area. One indicator to see poverty in an area is the percentage value of poverty. In 2020, in the publication of the Central Statistics Agency, DI Yogyakarta is the province with the highest poverty percentage value of all provinces on the island of Java and is above the national poverty. If the problem of poverty in Yogyakarta is not immediately addressed, the people who are trapped in poverty will always be in a cycle of poverty. This study aims to explain the determinants of poverty in DI Yogyakarta in 2011-2020. The type of data used is panel data with a cross-section of 5 provinces from 2011-2020. By using panel data regression analysis with fixed effect mode, the results show that the variables of life expectancy (UHH), economic growth rate (LPE) and minimum wage have a significant negative effect, while literacy rate (AMH) does not have a significant effect on the percentage of poverty in Indonesia. DI Yogyakarta Province in 2011-2020.

Abstract

The agricultural census dissemination website is one of the media created by BPS to publish the results of agricultural censuses in Indonesia. The last update of the agricultural census dissemination website was carried out in 2013 so that an update was needed related to the usefulness of the system and other features that were considered less relevant to the times. The website redesign process uses a user-centered design (UCD) approach with evaluation using a system usability scale (SUS) questionnaire. The initial evaluation questionnaire was distributed to 50 respondents consisting of various user groups, namely the ST secretariat, BPS employees, lecturers, students, and the general public. The purpose of this study is to determine the redesign and evaluation of the website interface for the dissemination of the agricultural census. Based on the initial evaluation, the SUS score obtained was 60.05 points. After the redesign, the final results of the evaluation obtained showed that the design of the solution resulting from the redesign of the system using the UCD approach was better than the initial design of the system.

Abstract

One of the important problems faced in Indonesia is poverty. Poverty in question is a condition where people cannot meet the basic needs of life. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), access to basic services is divided into three categories, namely access to drinking water services, access to basic sanitation services, and access to health facilities. The method that will be used on the data on the proportion of households with access to basic services in Indonesia in 2020-2021 is a hierarchical cluster analysis which aims to group provinces in Indonesia into clusters according to their similarities, and to see the effect of COVID-19 on the population. household access using Wilcoxon Signed-Rank. The results of the hierarchical cluster analysis using the average linkage method, the proportion of households with access to basic services in 2020 and 2021 is divided into 7 clusters where the cluster with the highest proportion is occupied by DI Yogyakarta Province and the cluster with the lowest proportion is occupied by Papua Province, and there are differences in average Average of the proportion of household access to basic services during the COVID-19 pandemic and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Decent work is a major aspect in efforts to reduce poverty and succeed in sustainable development, which is stated in the 8th goal of the SDGs. Employment problems are one of the problems that must be considered by the government where the condition of the labor force increases every year but is not matched by the availability of decent jobs. In West Nusa Tenggara Province, the availability of decent work is still relatively low. This can be seen through the value of the Decent Work Indexin West Nusa Tenggara which is one of the lowest in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the absorption of labor in the formal sector by taking into account human capital and the digital economy. The analytical methods used in this study include descriptive analysis with tables/graphs and inferential analysis with binary logistic regression. The results obtained from this study indicate that all independent variables have a significant partially effect on employment in the formal sector except for the variables of health complaints and marital status. Abstract

The morbidity rate can be used to see the health quality of an area. In 2020 Southeast Sulawesi experienced an increase in morbidity and this figure was dominated by the elderly population, especially in rural areas. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the incidence of elderly morbidity in rural Southeast Sulawesi using Susenas KOR 2020 data and binary logistic regression methods. The results of data processing showed that family size, ownership of health insurance, smoking status, age, education level, and working status had a significant effect on the incidence of rural elderly morbidity. Rural elderly in small families, have health insurance, do not smoke, are 70 years old and over, do not attend school or do not finish elementary school, and do not work have a greater tendency to experience morbidity. Therefore, special attention is needed regarding the health status of the elderly, especially for the elderly who are over 70 years old and do not have a job.

Abstract

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a global crisis, including in Indonesia. One group at high risk of being affected during a crisis is children. Since their nature is dependent on others, decreasing income in the household makes children vulnerable to poverty. Child poverty is a condition where children cannot meet their basic needs. The percentage of children under 18 years living in poverty is one of the child poverty indicators. Unfortunately, this indicator is only available at the national and provincial levels. Data availability for small areas is required to support the acceleration of poverty alleviation, which is the goal of the SDGs and the 2020-2024 RPJMN. This study aims to obtain an estimate of the percentage of children under 18 living in poverty at the regencies/municipalities level using the SAE EBLUP. The result shows that the SAE EBLUP method is able to produce estimation with smaller and better MSE and RSE than the direct estimation.

Abstract

Prevalence of Undernoursihment (PoU) is one of the indicators that is a benchmark for achieving the goals of SDG's (2) Zero Hunger. During the Covid-19 pandemic, prevalence of undernoursihment (PoU) in Indonesia increased in 2020 compared to 2019. This study aims at the factors that influence PoU at the provincial level in Indonesia in 2020. Spatial influences need to be taken into account because there is spatial autocorrelation on the prevalence of undernoursihment between provinces, so that the direct and indirect effects of the factors used are also analyzed. From the use of the Spatial Autoregressive Confused (SAC) regression model, it is known that the increase in per capita expenditure, per capita rice production, and the realization of per capita local government social assistance spending have a significant effect in reducing the prevalence of undernoursihment. On the other hand, the increase in average monthly food inflation has a significant effect on increasing the prevalence of undernoursihment. One of the suggestions of this study is that there needs to be government attention in further studying the level of food inflation. Food inflation that occurs without being accompanied by an increase in people's purchasing power, but is caused by the scarcity of raw materials and resources will further reduce the level of public welfare and will have an impact on increasing the prevalence of undernoursihment.

Abstract

The number of cases of Covid-19 from time to time in several regions in Indonesia has decreased. This has influenced several educational institutions to implement new policies that were initially carried out full-online or offline, starting to switch to hybrid learning slowly. The research was conducted to see the level of student satisfaction, student responses, aspects and indicators that need more attention, which is analyzed using the sentiment analysis method, Importance Performance Analysis, and satisfaction index so that it can be used as a reference by ITS in formulating the implementation of hybrid learning programs in the future. The research that has been done shows that the level of student satisfaction in the application of hybrid offline is very satisfied and hybrid online is satisfied. The internet connection indicator (Wifi) used by ITS to support the lecture process on aspects of learning methods is a main priority that requires more attention and quality improvement in offline and online hybrid applications.
