Abstract

Semakin tinggi tingkat Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), semakin intens penggunaan media sosial TikTok di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Telkom.

Abstract

In 2020 Indonesia was hit by Covid-19, and one of the impacts was that the poverty rate rose. One of the goals of the SDGs is to end all forms of poverty. East Java is one of the provinces that is also affected. The purpose of this study is to describe the factors that shape Poverty Indicators in Madya districts/Cities in East Java Province, map Madya districts/Cities in East Java in 2020 based on poverty indicators, and find out the differences between the groups formed. There are 16 poverty indicator variables used in this study. The data was obtained through East Java Province in Numbers, East Java Provincial Health Statistics, East Java Provincial Education Statistics, and the website of the Central Statistics Agency. The method used is factor analysis, followed by Cluster analysis with K-Means and Discriminant Analysis. The results of the factor analysis form four factors, namely the welfare factor of education, the economic welfare factor, the factor of pln users and baduta breastfeeding, and the factor of contraceptive users (KB). Continuing with the analysis using K-Means, it produces three groups, group one is a group with moderate poverty, group two is a group with high poverty occupied by Sumenep Regency and group three is with low poverty. Followed by the Discriminant analysis, the four factors are distinguishing variables with a classification accuracy of 100 percent. The difference between this research and the research used as a reference is using non-hierarchical clusters (K-Means) while the research used as a reference uses hierarchical clusters, the results of this research analysis there are levels of poverty from the three groups formed. Abstract

The SDGs program encourages change towards sustainable development which makes poverty alleviation the main goal. Poverty is a person's inability to meet the minimum standard of living that hinders the welfare of an individual. The benchmark for welfare is the Human Development Index (HDI). It is suspected that there are spatial influences between regions because, in terms of territoriality, the province of East Java has similarities in the value of the percentage of poor people and HDI in nearby areas. Poverty and HDI and vice versa have a relationship that affects each other, so modeling is done with a system of simultaneous similarities. This work used a queen contiguity weight matrix and the Generalized Spatial Two Stage Least Squares (GS2SLS) approach to analyze spatial simultaneous equations. This method can cope with autocorrelation and heteroskedasticity. The data used are the percentage of poor people and HDI as well as variables from previous studies that are thought to significantly affect poverty and HDI in 38 Regencies/Cities of East Java in 2019. The results showed that there was a negative reciprocal relationship between the percentage of poor people and HDI. The spatial effect is positive and significant on the HDI variables with GS2SLS Spatial Autoregressive (SAR) modeling, while the percentage of poor people without spatial effects is so modeled with Two Stage Least Square (2SLS). HDI and GRDP growth rates significantly affect the percentage of poor people, while HDI is significantly influenced by the percentage of poor people and population density.

Abstract

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred since the end of 2019 has hit all countries in the world. The impact experienced by every country, including Indonesia, is the decline in the health of its citizens due to infection with the Corona virus, the decline in the economic capacity of the country and its citizens due to the implementation of restrictions on periodic social activities, as well as security in the country's border areas (Abron, 2021). These three impacts were not considered force majeure conditions in the Airmadidi District Court Decision Number 11/Pdt.G.S/2021/PN. Arm (Verdict a-quo). The debtor's inability to pay multipurpose financing installments as a result of imposing restrictions on social and economic activities is not considered a coercive circumstance or a condition beyond the ability of the debtor. This research will examine the a-quo decision by applying the socio-legal studies approach. The purpose of this research is to provide legal certainty in the application of force majeure and default cases.
