Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the process of preparing training programs that can be provided by organizations to employees. The research method is qualitative with a theoretical study approach developed from Gerry Dessler's theory. Data collection techniques with documentation. Data processing with reduction, data presentation and data conclusion. Data validity with credibility through source triangulation. The results of the research show: training is an organizational way of improving the work ability of employees through coaching and mentoring by an expert. Training within the organization is structured as follows: first, analysis of training needs, by identifying the importance of conducting training based on employee performance gaps with organizational standards. Second, design the training, by arranging schedules, materials, presenters, time, equipment and so on needed to make the training program a success. Third, the development of materials prepared by adjusting the goals of the organization and the need for increasing employee competence. Fourth, the implementation of the training, taking into account the training methods, the flow of material delivery and discussion as well as closing the training process. Fifth, evaluation of training, by evaluating the process, results and impact of training on the organization and employees.

Abstract

The research objective is to describe operational management theory in the production process within a company. Qualitative research methods with a literature study approach with a development theory approach from Richar L. Darft on Operational Management and Jay Heizer & Barry Render on production. Data collection techniques with documentation studies. Data processing techniques with reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity technique with source triangulation. The results showed (1) operational management is the process of managing and utilizing resources for the benefit of the company's work services. (2) production is the process of producing goods or services. (3) Operational management of production is a way of utilizing the resources owned to produce products of value to the company, through the following activities: planning production, planning materials and product manufacturing processes; organizing the production process, by dividing equipment, materials and labor; directing the production process, making work SOPs and product quality; and control of production processes, by increasing work and production output

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the process of financial management in a business or business carried out by individuals or companies. Qualitative research methods with a library study approach developed by Kuswandi (2005). Data collection techniques with documentation studies taken from books, articles and journals. The data processing technique uses data reduction and presentation, while the data validation technique uses source triangulation. The results of the study show: (1) financial planning, carried out by means of entrepreneurs planning income and financial use in order to achieve an effective and efficient business system. (2) financial recording, carried out by recording all income, expenses, and use of funds in a financial record book. (3) financial reporting, carried out as information and a form of entrepreneur's responsibility for financial conditions while running a business. (4) financial control, which is carried out by assessing and evaluating all forms of financial use so that entrepreneurs know financial conditions and can reduce over-budgeting in each line of business.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe strategies for improving employee performance in an company. The qualitative research method uses the Grounded Theory approach from Arnoldo C. Hax & Nicholas S regarding strategy and from Mangkunegara regarding employee performance. Data collection techniques with documentation studies. Data processing techniques with reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity technique with source triangulation. The results of the research show: (1) strategy is a way to solve and improve a problem. (2) employee performance is the result of work shown by employees while working. (3) employee performance improvement strategy is a way that companies do to improve employee performance which can be done by: holding company work meetings to evaluate and provide work direction to employees, providing training to increase hard and soft skills of employees, providing motivation to increase willingness employee work, as well as by giving awards that can influence employee motivation and work productivity.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the stages of decision making in an organization which was developed from the theory of James A. F. Stoner. This research method is qualitative with a Grounded Theory approach. Data collection techniques with documentation studies. Data transfer techniques with reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed: (1) decision making is the way organizations choose and use decisions based on organizational analysis. (2) stages of decision making: (a) Situation analysis: by analyzing the internal and external conditions of the organization. (b) development of alternative decisions: by formulating several (more than one) decisions that might solve organizational problems. (c) evaluation of decision alternatives: by assessing and weighing the positive and negative impacts of each decision on the organization and its resources. (4) selection of decision alternatives: by determining the best decision that will be used to improve or overcome organizational problems. (5) implementing decisions: by involving all of the organization's human resources as drivers of the organizational system.

Abstract

The research objective is to explain and describe risk management in minimizing problems that occur in companies. The research method was carried out qualitatively through a literature study approach with the development of theory from W. Brand William about risk management. Data collection techniques with documentation studies. Data processing techniques with condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity technique with source triangulation. The results of the study show: (1) risk management is an effort made by the company to manage the risks that the company will face or is currently facing. (2) company problems are problems that arise as a result of discrepancies between processes and production results due to negligence in the utilization of company resources. (3) company risk management steps: (a) risk identification, by analyzing and analyzing the characteristics of the problems faced by the company. (b) risk measurement, by measuring how big the problem will be at risk of causing harm to the company. (c) risk handling, namely efforts made by the company to accept, reject and fix existing problems with the aim of not causing fatal consequences for the company.

Abstract

Jakarta the capital has several problems due to population density, one of which is traffic congestion. One of these problems is due to the increase in direct driving and the fact that road users do not follow the traffic rules when using private vehicles. Due to the congestion in Jakarta, the government of Jabodetabek Transport Management Board (BPTJ) Ministry of Transport (Kemenhub) launched a public transport service with the concept of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) or Transjakarta was created to reduce the vehicles, which can be a problem solver to overcome traffic congestion in Jakarta. The analytical method of this article is investigates the perceptions of Transjakarta users and investigates the needs of transport users. From this study, it can be concluded that Transjakarta is probably able to provide safer, faster and more convenient public transport services.

Abstract

This article discusses the development strategy of the night market at Cifest Cikarang, aimed at strengthening the synergy between the industrial zone, employee housing, and residential areas to improve customer satisfaction and business profits. Night markets have become popular in Indonesia not only as a place to shop but also as a place to relax and interact with others. Additionally, they provide positive impacts on the local economy by increasing traders' income and strengthening the synergy between industrial zones, employee housing, and residential areas. Developing night markets is, therefore, an essential strategy for the government and business actors. The authors review the literature on night markets and found that developing night markets in industrial zones can increase the attractiveness of the area for employees and the general public. Night markets can become an alternative place for shopping and relaxation different from conventional shopping centers. Additionally, night markets can strengthen the synergy between employees and the local community, providing access to high-quality and varied local products. However, businesses must consider factors affecting customer satisfaction such as product quality, availability, affordability, and adequate facilities when developing night markets. The authors conclude that in developing the night market at Cifest Cikarang, businesses must consider the characteristics of the industrial zone and employee housing surrounding it. Developing a night market that strengthens the synergy between industrial zones, employee housing, and residential areas can improve customer satisfaction and business profits. Moreover, businesses must consider factors such as product quality, price, and adequate facilities when designing an effective development strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of location, price, and store attributes on purchasing decisions at Toko Malika. The location of this research was conducted at the Toko Malika, Jl. Raya Papar-Pare No. 03 Papar Village, Papar District, Kediri Regency, East Java 64153. The object of this research is the consumers of Malika Papar Shop, Kediri. This research is a quantitative research. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using the validity test, reliability test, correlation test, multiple linear regression test, T test, F test and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the research that has been done indicate that there is a strong relationship between location, price, and store attributes variables on purchasing decisions to buy at Malika Papar Kediri store. This is evidenced by the multiple R value of 0.696, the correlation coefficient (relationship) can be said to be very strong with consumer perceptions in deciding to buy at malika's shop, Papar Kediri.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the factors affect the demand for sugar in North Sumatra in 2016 – 2022. Geographical conditions in Indonesia which have the potential to produce sugar cane plants make Indonesia a country that has the potential to become the largest sugar producer in the world. Granulated sugar is a source of nutrition in foods made from sugarcane juice and crystallized to form sand-like powders. One of the food raw material crops that has the most important position in agricultural development is sugarcane. Sugar cane is a plant that produces a staple food, namely sugar. Planting sugar cane to overcome the low production of sugar in Indonesia. Sugar is an important commodity for the people of Indonesia including the province of North Sumatra, even sugar is also important for the world community. The benefits of sugar can be seen as a source of calories for the community apart from corn, rice and tubers, sugar is also one of the staple food ingredients. The need for sugar in North Sumatra is not only to meet the basic needs of the community, but sugar is also the main sweetener used as a raw material in the food and even beverage industry.
