Abstract

The Covid-19 situation is causing problems for the world economy. In this case, sharia pawnshops have gold pawn products that can help the economy. Especially for customers in quickly addressing needs amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. This general research aims to find out the description and forms of efforts made by the Sibuhuan sharia pawnshop to help customers who pawned gold during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is field research, while the nature of the research is qualitative descriptive. This research uses a normative and sociological approach. The data collection techniques are based on interviews and documentation. The data sources for this research come from primary data and secondary data. The results of the research show that the impact of Covid-19 on gold pawning products at the Sibuhuan sharia pawnshop has resulted in many customers pawning gold. However, during this pandemic there are many customers who cannot forgive the gold pawn. The efforts made by sharia pawnshops in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic are by providing relief such as 0.5% ujrah fees to customers who have businesses, limiting operational hours to 09.00-13.00 and making it easier for customers to use the e-mas application.

Abstract

Every business needs planning to assist management in interpreting the level of profit it wants to earn. This research aims to examine management accounting standards which are useful for owners in making future decisions in order to evaluate the financial performance of the Boedjang Lapoek cafe. The method used is a descriptive method with a case study approach. The research collects company information through interviews and direct observation with the owner of the Boedjang Lapoek cafe, then carries out data analysis. The results of the analysis show that Boedjang Lapoek Cafe has implemented management accounting in its business activities by making decisions based on profit and loss reports. It is known that in May the margin contribution was IDR. 5,616,092. The break-even point is IDR 14,287,838, and the safety margin is IDR. 690.162. However, it is necessary to evaluate that the Boedjang Lapoek Cafe is not optimal in implementing management accounting due to the lack of a team of experts in the field.

Abstract

In this study, currency exchange rates became dependent variables, while inflation, interest rates, and gross domestic product (GDP) were considered as independent variables. The focus of the study lies on the exploration of currency exchange rates, which basically reflect the comparison or ratio between two different currencies. This study aims to establish the impact of inflation, interest rates, and GDP on currency exchange rates during the period 2018-2022. Quantitative methods, particularly multiple linear regression analysis, are used to examine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. This analysis is prepared by testing classical assumptions. The sample consists of 60 data, which are used in Microsoft Excel 2019 and IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software for processing. The research findings indicate that, individually, “the inflation variable (X1) and interest rates (X2) do not exert an effect on the rupiah exchange rate (Y), while gross domestic product (GDP) (X3) does have an impact on the rupiah exchange rate (Y). Furthermore, the results of the coefficient of determination test reveal that inflation (X1), interest rates (X2), and GDP (X3) collectively contribute to a 17.5% effect on the rupiah exchange rate.”

Abstract

This research aims to determine the motivation used to increase employee productivity at LPP RRI Medan and the efforts made by organizations or companies to motivate their employees. The research results show that LPP RRI Medan provides motivation to its employees in two ways, namely materially and non-materially, but when implemented, it is inconsistent in providing work motivation to its employees. This incident resulted in many employees who were not motivated to do their jobs well. Efforts taken include not being too harsh in criticizing and correcting employees, for example, when an employee makes a mistake, the head of the company should reprimand them properly and direct the employee to make improvements. Then often carry out controls during working hours so that employees feel cared for and they feel motivated by the presence of the head of the company or organization. This study uses a qualitative method. Research is carried out directly in the field or object where all data is collected by observation and interviews.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of human resource management practices on employees' intentions to remain at PT Media Nusantara Information (Sindo). This research uses multiple linear regression analysis with a sample of 100 permanent employees of PT Media Nusantara Infomasi (Sindo). The independent variables in this research are Training and Development, Career Development, Compensation and Benefits, and Performance Assessment, while the dependent variable in this research is the employee's intention to stay. The results of this research show that Training and Development, Career Development, Compensation and Benefits, and Performance Appraisals have a positive and significant influence on employees' intention to stay. Furthermore, the research results show that the Compensation and Benefits dimensions have the strongest influence.

Abstract

Employee job loyalty is one of the crucial issues in today's corporate world. Many companies face challenges in keeping their employees loyal and committed to their work. The aim of this research is to understand the job loyalty of employees at PT. XYZ across various departments. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach, relying on both primary and secondary data. The research sample consists of 4 individuals chosen through non-purposive sampling method. From the results, it's evident that job loyalty among employees at PT. XYZ is quite high, with employees prioritizing the company's interests over personal ones. However, age and generational differences do influence the employees' dedication levels. Factors affecting loyalty include a strong relationship between the company and its employees, employee welfare, management support, and fair compensation. The company has implemented comprehensive policies supporting employee loyalty, such as a transparent performance assessment system, clear career policies, and a commitment to retain employees during difficult situations. The research findings highlight that understanding these factors is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing employee loyalty in the future. This study offers insights for companies to improve employee job loyalty, thereby positively impacting overall company performance and sustainability.

Abstract

This study discusses the Analysis of Liquidity Ratios, Solvency, Activity, Profitability.To measure financial performance at PT. TELECOMMUNICATIONS INDONESIA (Persero) Tbk., while the purpose of this study was to determine the condition and performance based on financial ratios. The objects used in this research are financial reports in the form of balance sheets and profit and loss reports at PT. TELECOMMUNICATIONS INDONESIA (Persero) Tbk. Period 2019-2022. The data analysis method used is the quantitative data analysis method.The results of the study were seen from the liquidity ratio in 2019-2022, the conditions were not good. In terms of solvency ratio, the condition of the company is good. In the activity ratio, the company's condition is not good because the calculation using the ratio of Total Asset Turn over, Average collections period, and Fixed Asset Turn Over shows a bad value. The profitability ratio can be said to be unfavorable because the profitability ratio analysis calculation shows that the company has not met the specified industry average standards because the profitability ratio analysis is measured using the ratio of Gross Profit Margin, Net Profit Margin, and Operating Ratio showing the same value. is not good, it can be seen that the overall level of profitability ratios is still not good.

Abstract

Management of preventing the spread of Covid-19 during offline learning at the Civil Integrated Model State High School in Palu City. the realization is not yet optimal. the theory of Management Functions by Sondang P. Siagian includes five aspects, namely Planning, Organizing, Providing Motivation, Supervision and Assessment. This is evidenced by the lack of monitoring of compliance by students, teachers and guests from outside the school regarding the implementation of health protocols in the school environment. As well as evaluating implementation that is not in accordance with previously agreed plans or rules. So there are still many violations of health protocols such as wearing masks, washing hands and checking body temperature which are no longer carried out. Likewise, facilities and infrastructure in the form of body temperature checking devices and hand washing facilities need to be looked at again because some are no longer functioning. However, in the planning aspect, this is good because it is in accordance with Ministerial Decree No. 4 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Face-to-Face Learning during the pandemic, in the organizing aspect, tasks have been divided according to each person's expertise, and in the aspect of providing motivation, motivation has been given in the form of superiors, from yourself and additional wages for the school's Covid-19 Task Force team.

Abstract

Community Service Activities are carried out to strengthen community capacity and empowerment. This service activity aims to enable PKK Lembang Pitung Penanian women to produce a variety of Basreng products. This service uses a mentoring method, consisting of four mentoring activities, namely assistance in making Basreng products, product packaging, improving product quality, using tools and expanding marketing. The output of this assistance activity is the existence of varied products, applied product packaging designs, the use of quality raw materials, the use of sales displays to make them more attractive and mapping market expansion through opening new areas. The result of this activity is business development through measurable, controlled and coordinated market expansion
