Abstract

ABSTRACT Many students at the Senior High School (SMA) level face obstacles in understanding and compiling Scientific Papers (KTI). These difficulties include understanding the structure of the text, using scientific language, to writing citations and bibliographies. The Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach is present as an innovative strategy to overcome these challenges. TaRL emphasizes the importance of aligning the learning process with the level of ability of students, not only based on class level. This study describes how the application of TaRL in class XI K of SMA Negeri 6 Semarang can improve students' understanding and skills in writing Scientific Papers through initial assessments, grouping based on ability levels, and the use of differentiated learning strategies. Abstract

Based on the observation results, the researcher found that 10 out of 16 fourth grade students of SDN 225/II Pelepat Lintas had not achieved KKTP with a percentage of 62.5%. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of the cognitive learning process and results with the Group Investigation model using domino card media in fourth grade of SDN 225/II Pelepat Lintas. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design consisting of four steps, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection. The subjects of the study were 16 fourth grade students of SDN 225/II Pelepat Lintas. Data collection techniques used observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. Data collection instruments used assessments of observation sheets of educators and students and learning outcome test question sheets. The results of the study using the Group Investigation type cooperative model using domino card media can improve students' understanding of the material. Proven by the results of the observation sheet of the educator process which showed an increase in the learning process from cycle I in the good category of 78.5% increasing in cycle II in the very good category of 91%. The results of the assessment of the student learning process also found an increase from the results of the observation sheet in cycle I with a very poor category of 46.5% increasing in cycle II with a good category of 72%. The learning outcomes of students in Mathematics learning using the cooperative model of the Group Investigation type using domino card media in class IV of SD Negeri 225/II Pelepat Lintas showed an increase. In cycle I with the percentage of student learning outcomes reaching 50% which increased to 75% in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of the study, namely to develop learning tools, so that students are more active and the teacher as a facilitator. The formulation of the research problem is How to Develop Electronic Learner Worksheets (E-LKPD) with a Contextual Approach? This research method uses the research and development method with the research limits of expert assessment and practicality. Expert assessment is carried out on media, language, and material experts, while practicality with teachers and students. Data collection techniques used documentation and questionnaires, while data analysis techniques used percentages. The results of the study stated that the validity test of E-LKPD with CTL approach in grade V learning of SD Negeri 1 Sungai Are was declared valid and received a score of 81.90%. The practicality test of E-LKPD with the CTL approach in fifth grade learning at SD Negeri 1 Sungai Are was declared very practical and received a score of 89.77%. The effectiveness test of E-LKPD with the CTL approach in learning grade V SD Negeri 1 Sungai Are was declared very effective and received a score of 85.84%.

Abstract

This research focuses on boosting the learning abilities of first-grade students in Indonesian language classes by incorporating visual aids in the form of illustrated word cards as a supportive learning tool. The reason for conducting this research is due to the low interest and ability of students to read, which is caused by teaching methods that are still conventional and do not encourage active participation of students. The research was carried out through a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, involving two cycles. Each cycle comprised four steps: planning, execution, monitoring, and assessment. The subject of this research consisted of thirteen students from the first grade of UPT SD Negeri Baturetno 1, Tuban District, Tuban Regency. Data was obtained using a test sheet. The results of this study showed that the average score increased from 59.23 in the pre-cycle to 70.31 in cycle I then to 81.15 in cycle II. In addition, the percentage of successful student learning outcomes increased from 23% in pre-cycle to 84.6% in cycle II. This study proves that picture word card media can effectively improve the learning outcomes of first grade students.

Abstract

This research analyzes the utilization of Chromebook devices in the learning process for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Tiumang. The background of this study is the importance of adapting education to the 4.0 industrial revolution era, especially in using technology to enhance learning quality. Chromebooks, as web-based devices developed by Google, are considered to have great potential to support digital learning, both online and offline, with cloud-based data. This research employed a qualitative approach with a field study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the school principal, fifth-grade teachers, and fifth-grade students, as well as documentation and questionnaires. The subjects of the study were fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Tiumang, with subject selection using a purposive sampling method. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, following the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity was tested using source triangulation. The research results indicate that the utilization of Chromebook devices at SD Negeri 03 Tiumang has yielded significant positive impacts. Chromebooks are used almost daily for various subjects, not limited to specific ones. Students feel more comfortable, find it easier to understand learning materials, and are motivated to learn due to the freedom to choose their learning styles and access to various interactive applications such as Canva, Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Gemini. Interaction between teachers and students, as well as among students themselves, has also increased. This utilization aligns with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which emphasizes the benefits and ease of use of technology. Nevertheless, there are some challenges, particularly concerning internet connectivity, which does not yet fully support simultaneous Chromebook use, and the need for continuous training for all teachers to obtain Google Certified Educator certification. The success of Chromebook utilization has also led to SD Negeri 03 Tiumang being selected as a Google Reference School Candidate (KSRG) in Dharmasraya Regency, demonstrating an improvement in school quality in rural areas.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and frequency of language errors in sixth-grade elementary school students' compositions. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach by analyzing 20 student-composed texts using a reading-note-taking technique. The data were then classified based on error categories including spelling, word formation, sentence structure, and meaning. The results showed that spelling errors were the most dominant type of error, followed by errors in word formation, sentence structure, and meaning. These findings indicate that students' mastery of Indonesian language rules is still suboptimal, especially in terms of writing accuracy and word choice. The discussion of the study emphasizes the need for more targeted writing learning strategies, intensive practice, and continuous feedback from teachers. In addition to providing a picture of students' language error patterns, this study also opens up opportunities for further development, such as implementing learning interventions or developing special training media that can improve students' language accuracy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of students towards IPAS subjects, which is caused by the learning media used during the learning process where teachers only use books without using other supporting media and the images in the books are still not varied for students. This affects student learning outcomes. To overcome this, we use learning support media, specifically interactive learning media using the Canva application. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) type with the ADDIE development model which has five stages (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data collected from the development of interactive media using Canva application is qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observations, and questionnaires.The validation results of interactive media using Canva are declared very valid. Media validity is assessed by three validators, obtaining a percentage of 95% with a very valid category. Practicality assessed from teacher responses obtains a percentage of 95% categorized as very practical, while practicality results from student responses are 95.38% categorized as very practical. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that interactive media using Canva is very practical. Furthermore, effectiveness assessed from student learning outcomes obtains an average score of 81.43% with a practical category.

Abstract

The TaRL approach is a really effective way to improve the basic reading skills of young elementary students. By using this model, educators have three main goals: (1) to adjust teaching methods to fit each student’s abilities, (2) to create a more engaging and confident learning environment, and (3) to assess how students are doing in order to inform future lessons.The community service project takes a comprehensive approach that includes (1) observing students, (2) giving lectures, and (3) providing hands-on training. When the TaRL model was put into practice, there were noticeable improvements in students’ reading skills. After participating in this tailored learning program, students showed significant progress, which supports the idea of using this approach more widely in elementary schools.

Abstract

Classroom action research is the research used in this study. The purpose of the research is to describe the improvement of learning outcomes in IPAS for grade IV after the use of Baamboozle game media. The data collection methods used include interIVews, observations, documentation, and tests. The research subjects consisted of 28 students, comprising 12 male students and 16 female students. Based on the research results, it was found that 14 students or 74% of all students scored below 60, compared to the first cycle data where only 10 students or 53% had scores below 60, while the number of students who were not yet finished is 5 students or 26% who scored above 70. The results of the observation of student actiIVties in learning consists of: 1) students make an effort to ask questions if there is something they do not understand; 2) students make an effort to solve IPAS problems in their own way; 3) students make an effort to complete IPAS problems following the steps that have been outlined.
