Abstract

This study is motivated by the lack of moral decision-making in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the Moral Reasoning Model in the Pancasila Education subject on moral decision-making among Grade XI students of MA Al-Hadi Girikusuma, Mranggen District, Demak Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of classes XI.1 and XI.3, with a total population of 64 students. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted using normality tests, homogeneity tests, biserial correlation tests, and t-tests with the assistance of SPSS 23. The results indicate that the Moral Reasoning Model in Pancasila Education has a significant influence on moral decision-making, as shown by the normality test (0.200 > 0.05) and the homogeneity test (0.355 > 0.05). Furthermore, the Moral Reasoning Model also shows a correlation with moral decision-making, indicated by the biserial correlation test value of 0.1998 and the t-test result of 1.720 > 1.166 (t-table).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of project-based learning on students’ poetry writing skills at SMKN 1 Janapria. The research employed an experimental method with a pretest-posttest design, in which students were assigned poetry writing tasks before and after the implementation of the project-based learning model. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ poetry writing abilities following the application of this approach. Enhancements were observed in aspects such as creativity, diction selection, use of figurative language, and active student engagement throughout the learning process. These findings suggest that project-based learning is effective in enhancing students’ poetry writing skills and can be recommended as an alternative method in Indonesian language instruction at vocational high schools, particularly for developing students’ creative literacy skills.

Abstract

Good learning can be seen from the atmosphere of the class and the interaction between the teacher and students. The use of conventional and unvaried learning media causes students to be unenthusiastic and will affect student learning outcomes. Interesting media will influence learning activities, when students judge that what the teacher shows is interesting then they will be encouraged to know what the teacher is saying so that the learning process will be more enjoyable. Based on these problems, the problem formulation was obtained: 1) Can the Wordwall learning media increase student activity in learning Indonesian, material on intrinsic story elements for class V MIN 8 South Aceh?. 2) What is the influence of the Wordwall learning media on the learning outcomes of class V MIN 8 South Aceh students in learning Indonesian regarding the intrinsic elements of stories? Research conducted at MIN 8 South Aceh aims to determine the influence on the activities and learning outcomes of class V students on the application of Wordwall learning media. This research design is truly experimental in the form of a posttest only control design. The data collection technique in this research is by tests, namely posttests and student activity sheets. Hypothesis testing analysis techniques use the t-test, and student activity sheets use percentages. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the Wordwall learning media on students' learning outcomes. From the results of the analysis it is obtained that tcount = 3.385 > ttable = 2.028, so Ha is accepted, which means there is an influence on learning outcomes with the application of the Wordwall learning media. Student activity also increased with percentage results from 2556% to 3513%. This means that there is a significant difference in posttest scores between the experimental class and the control class. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the Wordwall learning media on student learning outcomes regarding the intrinsic elements of stories.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on students’ motivation in learning physics, particularly on the topic of hydrostatic pressure. A quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group was employed, involving 62 students of grade 12 at SMA Negeri 1 Lenek, divided into experimental and control groups (31 students each). The experimental class was taught using the PBL model, while the control class used conventional methods. The research instrument was a student motivation questionnaire consisting of 25 items, tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using a t-test. The results showed that the experimental class achieved a higher mean motivation score (M = 78.62, SD = 7.79) compared to the control class (M = 53.68, SD = 7.96). The normality and homogeneity tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The t-test result (t = 12.65, p < 0.05) confirmed that PBL had a significant positive effect on students’ learning motivation. These findings suggest that PBL can be effectively implemented in physics learning to foster students’ engagement, motivation, and understanding of abstract concepts such as hydrostatic pressure.

Abstract

A language ecology study at Lombok Tourism Vocational Schools is essential to meet students’ learning needs and to prepare qualified human resources for the tourism sector in East Lombok. This research aims to explore the specific needs of Indonesian language learning relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum within an Indonesian language ecology framework, enhance instructional effectiveness, and propose strategies for integrating these learning needs with the context of the local tourism industry. This study employed an exploratory research design with a language ecology approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, document analyses, focus group discussions (FGDs), and questionnaires. The data collection encompassed an analysis of learning processes and outcomes, structured interviews regarding ecological environments and the use of learning materials, as well as observations of language ecology in tourism vocational schools located in coastal, urban, and mountainous areas. Data were analyzed descriptively by quantifying learning needs based on ecological environments, correlating the quantitative findings with interview and FGD data, and drawing qualitative conclusions on the distinctions of Indonesian language learning needs across tourism schools. The findings indicate that Indonesian language learning aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum and informed by language ecology should emphasize communication skills in both formal and informal contexts, tourism-related vocabulary, and the integration of Lombok’s local cultural values. These needs highlight the role of language as a key instrument in preparing students for the tourism workforce. The ecological approach was found to enhance instructional relevance and support students’ understanding of language use in real-world professional settings. Recommended strategies include project-based learning through tourism simulations and the development of instructional materials integrating language with local traditions, folklore, and cultural terminology to strengthen students’ contextual language competence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of organizational culture in improving the quality of education at PAUD KB Bani Hamzah and PAUD Darul Faqih, as well as to identify the strategies employed by school principals in shaping and internalizing a conducive organizational culture. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, and educational staff, and document analysis. Data were analyzed following Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s (2014) interactive model. The findings reveal that principals implemented participatory leadership, instilled shared values, habituated positive behaviors, strengthened collaboration, maintained open communication, and demonstrated exemplary integrity and work discipline. A strong and consistent organizational culture significantly enhanced teacher motivation, parental involvement, and the quality of learning processes and outcomes. In conclusion, the principals’ strategies in building and sustaining a positive organizational culture play a central and sustainable role in improving the quality of early childhood education.
