Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of macroeconomic indicators, investment decisions, capital, risk profile, earnings, and corporate governance on stock returns in banking companies in Indonesia using the SEM-PLS method. The research results show that macroeconomic indicators (inflation, exchange rate, and interest rate) do not significantly affect stock returns either through risk profile or earnings. But if the macroeconomic variables are tested without mediation variables and directly on stock returns, they have a significant impact. In addition, investment decision indicators (current asset ratio and total asset growth), capital indicators (capital adequacy ratio and debt equity ratio), as well as risk profile indicators (non-performing loan and loan deposit ratio) also do not have a significant impact on stock returns. Similarly, the earning indicators (ROA, ROE, and NIM) and good corporate governance (board of directors and number of commissioners) do not show a significant influence on stock returns. These findings indicate that external factors and other variables are more dominant in influencing stock returns in banking companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Capital Adequacy, Financing Problems and Asset Quality on the Profitability of Sharia Banks in Indonesia. To determine the number of samples, a purposive sampling technique was used. The data used is secondary data, panels in quarters. Data was obtained from the Financial Services Authority/OJK for the period March 2018 to December 2020. Panel Data Regression analysis techniques with Fixed Effect Models were used to analyze the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of this research indicate that Capital Adequacy, Problem Financing and Asset Quality simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability. Meanwhile, partial testing shows that the Capital Adequacy and Asset Quality variables do not have a significant effect on profitability. The problematic financing variable has a significant negative effect on profitability. This requires efforts to reduce problematic financing so that efforts to increase the profitability of Islamic banks can be carried out in the future

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the "Urip Kerimaan" Food Security Program in Mahulu Regency, East Kalimantan Province, since 2021. This program aims to increase food independence by focusing on developing modern and organic dry land agriculture. The program steps involve opening 500 hectares of new land in 50 villages, with capital support, community-based agricultural technology management, and outreach for farmers. This research uses a conceptual framework that includes aspects of the Food Security Program (X), Arts and Culture (Urip Kerimaan) (M), and Sustainable Development (Y). This research method involves collecting quantitative and qualitative data from 1009 farmers involved in the Food Security Program. The research results show that the Food Security Program has a positive and significant impact on Sustainable Development, as well as on Arts and Culture. The Food Security Program has made a positive contribution to increasing the area of rice fields, rice production and the number of farmers in villages. Apart from that, Arts and Culture are also closely related to this program, with increasing public interest in various cultural expressions such as music, crafts and dance, which then influences Sustainable Development.
