JRFES scopes are the result of research on physics research and physics education. JRFES is focused on publishing original research results that have not been published anywhere. Abstract

This research is compiling and describing, among others; 1) The background of the development of the Assure model, 2) the main concept of the Assure model, 3) the concept of the Assure model with a scientific approach, ICT-Environment, 4) How to integrate the Assure model with a scientific approach, ICT-environment into the lesson plans. 5) the concept of critical thinking, 6) Description of the application of the Assure model with a scientific approach, ICT-environment to improve critical thinking skills in chemistry learning. Using the literature study methodology. The research finding is that the Assure model can be integrated with a scientific approach and then combined with Information Communication and Technology (ICT) which uses concrete examples from the environment to improve critical thinking skills in chemistry learning. In conclusion, the application of the Assure Model using a scientific approach -ICT - environment will provide effective learning for students to explore chemistry more broadly so as to increase critical thinking power.Keywords : Assure model, quality culture development, critical thinking

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kurangnya interaksi siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar yang membuat siswa tidak memahami konsep fisik. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah di atas, solusinya adalah menerapkan metode pembelajaran pemecahan masalah. Instrumen berupa uji domain kognitif dalam tes akhir, lembar observasi siswa sebagai uji domain afektif. Belajar otcome dalam domain kognitif yang diperoleh, nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 55,14 dan kelas kontral 46,24. Hasil aktivitas domain afektif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol, yaitu 82,65 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 71,91 untuk kelas kontrol. Singkatnya, ada pengaruh menggunakan metode pembelajaran problem solving terhadap hasil belajar fisik XII IPA MAN 1 Pesisir Selatan.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Fisika, Problem Solving Learning, Hasil Belajar Fisika.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by students' interest in learning towards on physics subject are still low and the lack of understanding of physics learning concept from the students, it causes the students do not understand about matery that has given by educators and their physics learning outomes in grade X MIA senior high shcool 3 Payakumbuh is still low. Therefore, the research conducted a research of using PBL models and video scribe media to apply in these problem. Type of this research is quasi experiment with posttest only control design. The population of this research is at X grade senior high school 3 Payakumbuh, consists of 5 class. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling, taken at X grade MIA 3 experiment and X grade MIA 5 as control class. Instruments of this research are final test used is essay with reliability of the test is r11 = 0.636. Based on the calculation results obtained th = 1.6850 with ttabel = 1.675, kareta th> ttabel, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the activity analyze it know that the experimental room activities is better than the physich learning outcomes of student using problem based learning (PBL) models by ussing video scribe is better than physics learning outcomes of students by using scientific learning models by using scientific learning models at X grade senior gigh school Payakumbuh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimotivasi oleh pembelajaran phsysics yang masih berpusat pada guru. Efeknya adalah kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Ini akan berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar fisika siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini, peneliti menerapkan teknik pembelajaran kancing gemerincing. Kancing gemerincing adalah teknik belajar yang menggunakan kancing berwarna sebagai tanda ekspresi pendapat siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan teknik kancing gemerincing pada domain kognitif fisika kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Sungai Limau. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan kuasi dengan desain kelompok kontrol hanya postest dan cluster random sampling, dan uji hipotesis adalah uji Mann - Whitney. Domain kognitif untuk kelas eksperimen rata-rata 79,55 dan kelas kontrol rata-rata 6,19. Artinya ada pengaruh penerapan teknik kating gemericing n terhadap siswa belajar fisika kelas kognitif kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Sungai Limau.Kata kunci: Kancing Gemerincing, Domain Kognitif, Fisika

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to  analysis of  increasing scientific literacy of the students that implement cooperative learning type GI with Inquiry Labs method. This study used two experimental classes, men and women in one of the islamic senior high school in Padang. The research method used is a weak experiment with the one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that the scientific literacy in both classes increased and the average normalized gain <g> to a class of men is 0.30 and the class of women iss 0.43. Based on the average difference test, comparison of the increase (n-gain) students' scientific literacy of women and men did not show a significant difference for the two groups (Sig. = 0.031 <1 / 2α = 0.025). So,  cooperative learning type GI with Inquiry Labs method can be applied to increase scientific literacy in the classroom both men and women classes.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Type GI, Inquiry Labs, Scientific Literacy

Abstract

Scientific argumentation ability is one of the important things to support students in learning to think critically, act, and communicate supported by data or evidence. Scientific argumentation skills include 4C skills, namely communication. Among the indicators of scientific argumentation are claims, data, warrants, backing, rebuttal and qualifiers. The purpose of this study was to determine the scientific argumentation skills profile of students at MAS Manba'ul Huda Bandung. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 22 people from class X1 (11) MIPA. To find out the level of scientific argumentation skills, students are given 2 physics questions related to argumentation-based optics and fluids. The results found that students' scientific argumentation skills were still relatively low. This is shown from the level of students' scientific argumentation skills, most of which are in the good to weak category, namely 27% very weak, 14% weak, 18% sufficient, and 34% good.Keywords : Teaching Materials, Physics, Argumentation Skills

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. Porpuse dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tentang dalam sains model pembelajaran praktek Pembelajaran Kontekstual. Pada hasil belajar ilmu alam. Jenisnya adalah Quasi Experimental Research. Metode smpling adalah Claster Random Sampling. Dipilih pada kelas VIII1 seperti pada Exsperiment dan kelas VIII2 kelas kontrol. Hasil pembelajaran yang diperoleh dengan nilai rata-rata siswa kelas VIII1 exsperimental adalah 74,91 dan kelas kontrol VIII2 65,21. Jadi model pembelajaran aplikasi CTL berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar model pembelajaran sains di kelas VIII SMP. Kata kunci  Hasil Pembelajaran IPA, Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Pembelajaran konvensional

Abstract

Thermocouple sensor loop test is performed to ensure the good condition of the sensor. For this reason, a thermocouple sensor loop test is performed using Jofra calibrator to avoid the sensor failing. Prepared Jofra temperature calibrator, set the temperature at Jofra according to the temperature range to be measured. At the voltage gauge (Fluke) set on the Der.C measure, the measuring probe is connected to the thermocouple in the position between the wires (+ and -) to measure the mV value or the temperature of Der.C. Then the sensor is inserted at the test point or location of the heater on the Jofra calibrator. 5 temperature inputs were carried out on the type K thermocouple loop test. The temperature of the K type thermocouple sensor can be used if the results of all the output temperatures on Jofra do not exceed the 5 ° C fair range, 4 temperature outputs are obtained where the sensitivity exceeds the 5 ° C reasonable limit, so the thermocouple sensor type K tested cannot be reused. Keywords:Sensor, Test Loop, Thermocouple  K,Temperature.
