Abstract

Medan magnet Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) termasuk ke dalam gelombang elektromagnetik yang memiliki besar frekuensi 0-300 Hz. Pada bahan pangan, pemanfaatan medan magnet dapat digunakan untuk ketahanan pangan. Ikan lemuru merupakan ikan yang cukup banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Pada umumnya ikan lemuru akan bertahan kurang lebih 8 jam setelah tiba dari penangkapan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji pengaruh paparan medan magnet ELF terhadap nilai derajat keasaman (pH) dan massa jenis pada ikan lemuru. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan paparan medan magnet Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) digunakan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan ikan lemuru melalui penghambatan bakteri pathogen. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 110 ekor ikan lemuru dan terbagi menjadi 5 kelompok. Satu kelompok sebagai kontrol, 2 kelompok eksperimen dengan paparan medan magnet ELF intensitas 700µT selama 60 menit dan 120 menit, serta 2 kelompok yang lain diberikan paparan medan magnet ELF dengan intensitas 1200µT selama 60 menit dan 120 menit. Variabel yang di teliti meliputi nilai pH dan massa jenis ikan lemuru. Pengukuran pH dan massa jenis dilakukan pada jam ke-8 dan jam ke-20 setelah pemberian paparan medan magnet ELF. Data hasil penelitian di analisis menggunakan analisis statistik, yaitu Uji Kruskall Wallis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intensitas 1200µT selama 60 menit efektif untuk mempertahankan nilai pH ikan lemuru, sedangkan intensitas yang efektif untuk mempertahankan nilai massa jenis yaitu 1200µT dengan lama paparan 60 menit dan 120 menit sampai jam ke-20.

Abstract

Telah disimulasikan potensi PLTS Atap di Gedung Immanuel Music Center (IMC) menggunakan software Helioskop. Dipilih tiga lokasi atap yaitu Gedung IMC, Gedung Auditorium Musik Gereja (AMG) selatan, dan AMG utara. Selanjutnya parameter produksi energi listrik, performance ratio, shading, dan kWh/kWp dianalisis. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa nilai produksi energi listrik satu tahun mulai yang paling tinggi adalah di atap AMG Utara (31.560 MWh), atap AMG Selatan (29.290 MWh), dan atap IMC (20,400 MWh). Nilai performance ratio berturut-turut adalah 81.30 % (atap AMG utara ), 81.80 % (atap AMG selatan), dan 52.6 % (atap IMC). Gedung IMC berpotensi terkena bayangan sedangkan pada gedung AMG Utara dan Selatan bebas dari bayangan. Potensi nilai kWh/kWp secara berurutan dari yang paling tinggi adalah atap AMG utara (1.434,6) kemudian atap AMG selatan (1331,3) dan terakhir atap IMC (927,3). Dari hasil simulasi maka lokasi yang paling potensial untuk dipasang PLTS adalah atap Gedung AMG bagian utara.

Abstract

In solid-state physics, the crystal structure was the subject that one must learn and understand. In providing an understanding of the concept, educators need to use learning media. At this time, learning media has developed rapidly, especially digital visual media. Vesta Software is a media that can visualize and simulate crystal structures in 3D. This research aimed to analyze students' scientific attitudes to the Vesta software as a learning media of crystal structure. Data collection used a Likert scale with a scientific attitude questionnaire on curiosity, honesty, perseverance, critical thinking, open-mind, cooperation, and creativity. The method in this research was descriptive qualitative using data triangulation. That was obtained, the seven students' scientific attitudes were "very good", and the most dominant was "curiosity" with 88.03%. Furthermore, Vesta software could be an alternative learning media to crystal structures because it was easy to use and learn, increasing the student’s knowledge and understanding.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan tempurung kelapa dan ampas tebu sebagai bahan baku utama pembuatan briket memiliki potensi besar sebagai bahan bakar alternatif. Briket merupakan arang dengan bentuk tertentu yang dihasilkan melalui proses pemampatan dengan penambahan sejumlah perekat tertentu. Pemanfaatan briket sebagai bahan bakar  mampu menghasilkan kalor dengan sedikit asap yang ramah lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi arang ampas tebu dan arang tempurung kelapa serta jenis perekat terhadap karakteristik briket. Variabel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu rasio massa arang tempurung kelapa terhadap arang ampas tebu (90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40 dan 50: 50) dengan jenis perekat briket berupa tepung tapioka. Tahapan penelitian pembuatan briket ini meliputi persiapan bahan baku, karbonisasi, pembriketan dan analisa produk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik briket terbaik terdapat pada briket dengan perekat tepung tapioka dan komposisi arang ampas tebu terhadap arang tempurung kelapa. Karakteristik briket yang terbaik yaitu untuk nilai kalor terbesar terdapat pada perbandingan 60:40 yaitu sebesar 5.663 kal/gr sedangkan untuk ketahanan pada saat pembakaran terdapat pada perbandingan 90:10 yaitu 2 jam 15 menit.Kata kunci : Tempurung kelapa, ampas tebu, briket, karbonisasi

Abstract

This study aims to find out what efforts can be made by micro teaching lecturers in their lecture classes to increase the competence of prospective physics teachers and to determine the level of student satisfaction with the efforts made by micro teaching lecturers. . This study uses a quantitative and qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Quantitative descriptive method is used to present student satisfaction data in the form of percentages and then a qualitative approach is used to explain what efforts have been made by micro teaching lecturers for the students they teach. The sample in the study were 9 students who took the micro teaching course. This research resulted in several efforts that could be made by teachers in improving the competence of prospective physics teacher students, namely conducting material presentations related to the Merdeka Belajar curriculum material, providing instructions regarding how to make teaching modules along with examples, examples of learning videos in the Merdeka Belajar curriculum, and criticizing practice. Teach on an ongoing basis. The overall level of student satisfaction with the efforts made by lecturers in the micro teaching course is 83.33%. The most satisfying effort for students is the criticism given by supporting lecturers and colleagues on student teaching performances which are carried out three times in one semester.

Abstract

Clinker is a significant material in the cement manufacturing process. Before clinker formation, the raw material is burned in a Rotary Kiln with a temperature of up to 1450℃. After that, it is cooled in a Greet Cooler to a temperature of 100℃ and produces clinker. During the clinker manufacturing process, always being test on samples, but there has been no test based on magnetic susceptibility. The purpose of this research is to know the variation of the superparamagnetic clinker value based on the magnetic susceptibility value. The method used is the rock magnetism method using a Bartington Magnetic Susceptibility Meter MS2B Type. A sampling of clinker is taken hourly every day from PT. Padang Cement. From the value of magnetic susceptibility based on low-field magnetic susceptibility , it was obtained that the values varied from 3.2 × 10-8m3/kg to 22.6 ×10-8m3/kg. The frequency of dependents is also diverse, ranging from 0.0% to 7.4%. Based on the  obtained, the type of grain produced also varies. 136 samples of clinker containing less than 10% superparamagnetic grains, and 32 samples belonging to Medium  have a percentage of 2%-10% where the sample comprises superparamagnetic grains. Between 10% and 75% is a mixture of fine and coarse superparamagnetic grains.

Abstract

Tujuan meta analisis ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Model Problem Bassed Learning (PBL) berbantuan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa di Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan meta-analisis yang terdiri dari merumuskan masalah, mengunpulkan, mengkode, menganalisis, dan menafsirkan data. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai penelitian terdahulu untuk menentukan efektivitas model PBL dengan media pembelajaran seperti animasi, modul interaktif, dan alat peraga membantu siswa belajar lebih baik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL berbantuan media pembelajaran Fisika memiliki efek positif yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1,2 dan termaasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan interpretasi sebesar 88%. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai rekomendasi guru fisika untuk menerapkan model PBL dengan media pembelajaran secara efektif guna meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa.

Abstract

AbstractZn Ferrite and ZnCuNi Ferrite with a composition of ZnFe2O4 and Zn0.9Cu0.05Ni0.05 Fe2O4 have been synthesis using the co-precipitation method. Zn Ferrite and ZnCuNi Ferrite have been synthesized at 100 oC. Structure, morphology and magnetic properties were obtained by the characterization of  X-ray Difraction (XRD), Field Emission-Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) characterization showed the cubic spinel structure of Zn Ferrite and ZnCuNi Ferrite. The microstructure and magnetic properties have been changed with the addition of Cu2+ and Ni2+ to ZnFe2O4. The grain size increased from 13.4098 nm to 13.7184 nm. The VSM test results also showed an increase in saturation mangetization from 14.76 emu/g to 26.67 emu/g. Meanwhile, the magnetic coercivity value experienced the opposite, which decreased from 87.85 Oe to 87.65 Oe. The addition of Cu2+ and Ni2+ increases the magnetization of the spinel ferrite and decreases its magnetic coercivity.  Keywords: FE-SEM; Magnetic Properties; Microstructure; VSM; XRDAbstrakZn ferit dan ZnCuNi ferit dengan komposisi ZnFe2O4 dan Zn0.9Cu0.05Ni0.05Fe2O4 masing-masing telah disintesis dengan menggunakan metode kopresipitasi. Zn ferit dan ZnCuNi ferit tersebut telah disintesis pada suhu 100 oC. Struktur, morfologi dan sifat kemagnetannya diperoleh dari karakterisasi X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission – Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) dan Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). Karakterisasi X-ray Diffraction (XRD) menunjukkan struktur spinel kubik pada Zn ferit dan ZnCuNi ferit.  Mikrostruktur dan sifat magnetik mengalami perubahan dengan adanya penambahan Cu2+ dan Ni2+ pada ZnFe2O4. Ukuran butir meningkat dari 13,409 nm menjadi 13,718 nm. Dari hasil uji VSM juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan mangetisasi saturasi dari 14,76 emu/g menjadi 26,67 emu/g. Sementara nilai koersivitas magnet mengalami sebaliknya, yaitu menurun dari 87,85 Oe menjadi 87,65 Oe. Penambahan Cu2+ dan Ni2+ meningkatkan magnetisasi spinel ferit dan menurunkan nilai koersivitas magnetnya.  Kata kunci : FE-SEM; Sifat Magnetik; Mikrostruktur; VSM; XRD

Abstract

Tingkat ketrampilan komunikasi sains saat ini masih rendah sehingga dibutuhkan solusi, salah satunya yakni dengan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Think Pair Share. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan LKPD berbasis Think Pair Share untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi sains siswa . Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan proses wawancara, observasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu: lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, tes, serta angket respon siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu LKPD berbasis Think Pair Share valid berdasarkan rata-rata persentase validasi yaitu 92,33. Praktis digunakan berdasarkan hasil rata-rata keterlaksanaan yaitu 90,56%. Efektif berdasarkan analisis hasil N-gain yaitu 0,74 dan berdasarkan rata-rata hasil respon siswa sebesar 86,27. Disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Think Pair Share valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi sains.

Abstract

Science laboratory needs analysis research has been conducted. This study aims to analyze the laboratory needs of PTKIN in West Sumatra. This analysis includes organizational structure, management personnel needs and laboratory development. The results showed that the organizational structure of the science laboratory at PTKIN West Sumatra had been arranged. However, PTKIN in West Sumatra still lacks laboratory management personnel so that a formula is developed to calculate personnel needs. Furthermore, the laboratory needs to evaluate the governance and development of laboratory functions. The function that was previously only as a place of education needs to be improved as a place of research. The development of research laboratories is in line with increasing the volume of research equipment, K3 laboratories and professional personnel in their fields.
