Abstract

The background of this research  not all students like physics learning. This is caused by students' lack of understanding of physics learning material. The students' incomprehension can be seen when the learning process takes place, some students are embarrassed to ask even though basically the students do not understand the material presented by the teacher in front of the class. This type of research is Quasi Experiment with research design in the form of Design Group Control. Data on physics learning results are seen in two domains, namely the cognitive and affective domains. In the cognitive domain, the average experimental class has an average of 67.37 while the class has an average of 60.76. Learning outcomes in the affective domain obtained from the assessment of student activity sheets had an average of 79 in the experimental class and 74 in the control class. Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing with the F test, it was found that t count = 1.64, and t table = 2.00, where if –t table < t count < t table then the hypothesis is rejected. So it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation does not affect the learning outcomes of physics students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi fasilitas belajar dan tatakelola laboratorium terhadap efektifitas praktikum virtual di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan keguruan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang pada masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskrtiptif dan verifikatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 531 orang mahasiswa yang terdiri dari tujuh Program Studi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa fasilitas belajar dan tatakelola laboratorium berkontibusi nyata terhadap efektifitas praktikum virtual. Namun, perlu peningkatan fasilitas dan tatakelola laboratorium agar kepuasan praktikan semakin meningkat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimotivasi oleh proses belajar yang masih didominasi oleh guru pusat dan juga stunden cenderung bersifat pasif. Hal ini menyebabkan rendahnya proses belajar fisika di kelas dua SMPN 25 Padang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode diskusi tipe buzz group dengan kuis pada hasil belajar fisika kelas II SMP N 25 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan kuasi dengan desain kelompok kontrol postest dan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Hasil analisis kuis rendah dikategorikan yaitu kelas eksperimen rata-rata adalah 20,35, sedangkan kelas kontrol rata-rata adalah 23,80. Hasil analisis uji akhir dengan menggunakan uji t, yaitu t = 5,38 dengan kriteria -0,05 dan 2,05 sehingga diperoleh data -2,05 <5,38> 2,05. lalu H0 ditolak. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode diskusi tipe buzz group dengan kuis terhadap hasil belajar fisika kelas II SMP N 25 Padang. Kata kunci: Buzz Group, kuis, hasil belajar

Abstract

Characterization of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanorod as a nanogenerator synthesized using a hydrothermal method with various concentrations of a growing solution is reported in this article. The concentrations of the ZnO nanorod growing solution used were 0.02, 0.03, 0.04., 0.05, and 0.06M (denoted as Kp0.02, Kp0.03, Kp0.04, Kp0.05, and Kp0.06). The nanogenerator characterization was carried out using AFM Tip conduction (Scanning Probe Microscope in CPII / Veeco). The characterization of ZnO nanorod as a nanogenerator is discussed because it has piezoelectric properties caused by the flexing carried out on the nanorod. The resulting voltage is influenced by the morphology of the ZnO nanorod film, especially the diameter and density of the nanorod. The voltage surge increase with the concentration of growth solution increased. The highest voltage surge produced was 3.33 mV in the Kp0.04 sample.

Abstract

This article explains the influence of the Problem-based Learning (PBL) model on students scientific literacy skills on the theme of environmental pollution. The research used was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The respondesnts of the study involved one teacher and 22 students. Data on students’scientific literacy abilities were obtained from the pretest and posttest, the analyzed by using SPSS 28.0 for the Windows version. After utilizing normality and homogeneity test, the control and experimental classes were determined to have a reguler and homogenous distribution. The hypothesis was tested by using the Independent Sample t-test in the study. The findings indicated a signifinace value of 0.001<0.05, which indicates that H0 was rejected H1 was accepted. It could be described that there was a statistically significant difference in values between the experimental class the utilized the PBL model and the cotrol class that did Discovery Learning model. According to the data analysis, the PBL model has an influence on students scientific literacy skills on the theme of environmental pollution. Thus, the authors recommended that teachers may iclude the PBL model in their classroom instruction.

Abstract

Paving block merupakan alternatif konstruksi bangunan yang penting sebagai penutup permukaan tanah. Dalam studi ini ampas karbon digunakan sebagai aditif dalam campuran paving blok. Ampas tebu tersebut disembuhkan pada 2000C selama 1,5 jam. Pengawetan karbon disaring menggunakan mesh no.100 atau 150 μm. Paving blok dibuat dengan perbandingan 1: 2: 1. Konsentrasi pengawetan karbon adalah bervariasi sebesar 0%, 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, 10% dari volume semen. Hasil penyerapan air paving blok konvensional (0%) adalah 2,81%, semakin besar paving block bila menambahkan curing karbon. Hasil uji kuat tekan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kuat tekan. Nilai pers yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini pada konsentrasi 5%, 7,5%, dan 10% carbon curing menunjukkan paving block untuk memenuhi standar mutu D SNI-03-0691-1996. Hasil penyerapan air sesuai dengan standar SNI-03-0691-1996 dan kekuatan tekan yang meningkat akibat kerapatan partikel material karena pencampuran curing karbon yang mampu mengisi rongga pada material.Kata kunci : Paving  Block,  Carbon  Curing , Penyerapan air, kuat tekan

Abstract

One of the obligations of lecturers on the education element is to develop creative and innovative learning tools so that students learn optimally and have a positive character. The learning tool that lecturers need to have is teaching material. The teaching materials currently available on the STKIP Adzkia campus are not yet relevant to the Adzkia STKIP vision, which is "to become a strong, cultured and Islamic institution in Sumatera in 2025". One of the teaching materials that can be developed to achieve the vision of STKIP Adzkia is by developing an integrated module of Qur'anic verse values. If the lecturer is able to develop an integrated module of the values of the verses of the Koran, then this will transform students into more faithful people and be devoted to God Almighty and have character and noble character. The purpose of this study is to develop a general integrated physics module in valid Qur'anic verse values. This type of research is research and development (research and development / r & d). The module validation results have an average value of 94, meaning the module very valid. Keywords :Validity, Module, General Physics, Values, Qur'anic  Verse.AbstrakSalah satu kewajiban dosen pada unsur pendidikan adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif agar mahasiswa belajar secara optimal dan memiliki karakter yang positif. Perangkat pembelajaran yang perlu dimiliki dosen adalah bahan ajar. Bahan ajar yang tersedia saat ini di kampus STKIP Adzkia belum relevan dengan visi STKIP Adzkia, yaitu “menjadi institusi yang kokoh, berbudaya dan islami di Sumatera tahun 2025”. Salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat dikembangkan untuk mencapai visi STKIP Adzkia adalah dengan mengembangkan modul terintegrasi nilai-nilai ayat Alquran. Apabila dosen mampu mengembangkan modul terintegrasi nilai-nilai ayat Alquran, maka hal tersebut akan mentrasnformasikan mahasiswa menjadi insan yang lebih beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan modul fiska umum terintegrasi nilai-nilai ayat Alquran yang valid. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development/ r&d). Hasil validasi modul memiliki nilai rata-rata 94, artinya  modul sangat valid. Kata kunci :Validitas,  Modul, Fisika Umum, Nilai-nilai, Ayat Alquran.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews at SMAN 5 Palangka Raya, physics learning is still not structured optimally to achieve students' critical thinking skills. As a result, research was undertaken employing POE-based e-modules to aid students in achieving learning competencies by utilizing their critical thinking skills. The goal of this study is to see how successful POE-based e-modules are at improving critical thinking skills. A quantitative approach using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design was applied. A test in the form of a description question served as the data gathering strategy. The findings revealed that this POE-based e-module was beneficial to students' critical thinking abilities. The e-effectiveness module's was determined using an effect size of 3.24, which falls into the very high category. This study's conclusion is this POE-based e-module improves students' critical thinking skills.
