Abstract

Management is a plan where everything is done steadily to give birth to beliefs that have an impact on doing things according to the rules and having benefits. The planning function includes strategy, and strategy is an integral part of a business or company. Likewise, the success of a product being accepted by the target market is not only determined by the low price or quality offered, but is also determined by the marketing strategy undertaken. Consumers who come to the supermarket take the goods they want to buy themselves. This is what distinguishes supermarkets from traditional stalls. In traditional stalls, consumers are served by the shop owner if they want to take the goods they want to buy. This is what motivates consumers to shop at mini markets instead of stalls or other traditional shops. The identification in this study are: 1. There is motivation for consumers to shop at mini markets rather than to warungs or other traditional stores. 2. One of the important management concepts to be applied for modern retail companies (minimarkets) is the handling and procurement of goods. 3. Mini market in Tanjung Pura, there is one sharia-based mini market which is quite familiar to the public, namely sharia mini market. Management is the utilization of physical and human resources through coordinated efforts and is completed by carrying out the functions of planning, organizing, compiling, directing and supervising. In this opinion, it is well realized how important the role of the resources owned by the organization, both human resources and material resources. Because the use of these two resources by managers in an organization effectively and efficiently will optimize the achievement of organizational goals. Utilization of organizational resources starting from proper planning, solid organization, proper and professional staffing, well-controlled direction and supervision will ensure the functioning of the managerial process. The research method used is the instrument used in this study is a human instrument, because the data collected is through the main instrument, namely the researcher himself. The data collection needed in this study was carried out using techniques adapted to the situation and conditions of the research field. With a good management concentration and based on Islamic Economics, it can make the management of sharia mini markets better and can be a reference for other mini markets. One of the important management concepts to be applied for modern retail companies (minimarkets) is the handling and procurement of goods. The term most often used by retail entrepreneurs for the handling and procurement of goods in their outlets is called merchandising. Meanwhile, retail players carry out the functions of purchasing, keeping inventory, promoting, selling, sending and paying to agents or distributors. Retail does not manufacture goods and does not sell to other retailers. This can be a special attraction if the current business can keep up with the times and provide satisfied value to consumers. The strategy carried out by Islamic retail business owners in facing the fast economy is only to do the right product, right quantity, and right price strategy. From the strategies carried out, it can be understood that the existing strategies have increased in the efforts carried out by Islamic retail business owners. While the inhibiting factors include: weak decision-making abilities and weak promotions on social media because knowledge for Islamic retailers in information and communication technology (internet) is still lacking.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have become a hot topic in improving Indonesia's economy. One of them is the food and beverage industry sector. The aim of this study was to empirically examine the impact of entrepreneurial skills on business success in the food and beverage sector of MSMEs, among variables and hypothesis testing. Proportional areas of random samples were used in this study. The research subject is his MSME owner in food and beverage industry based in Lubukpakam and registered with Deli Serdang Coorperative and MSME services. The results of this research show that managerial, conceptual, and human have a positive and significant impact on business success. Making decision and time management, on the other hand, do not have a positive and significant impact on business success

Abstract

Reza Mushroom Jaya is one of the oyster mushroom cultivation businesses managed by Mr. Reza which is located in Sei Rotan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District. Where the oyster mushroom cultivation business is managed by the local community from the Sei Rattan village with the aim of improving the family economy. The formulation of the problem in research is how the process of empowering the family economy in oyster mushroom cultivation in Sei Rotan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District and how the community responds in Sei Rotan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District with the empowerment of this oyster mushroom cultivation business. This study aims to determine whether the Reza mushroom jaya oyster mushroom cultivation business can improve the family economy of the Sei Rotan village community and want to see how the community responds to this oyster mushroom cultivation business. The type of research used is qualitative. The data collection method used primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research conducted. With the oyster mushroom cultivation business, it can improve the family economy of the community in the Sei Rattan village, this is seen in terms of education, health and income where the income of the community before the oyster mushroom cultivation business was low and after the oyster mushroom cultivation the community's economy began to improve. From the results of research conducted, the response of the people of Sei Rattan Village to the existence of oyster mushroom cultivation is partly less enthusiastic. But other than that, some people respond positively to this oyster mushroom cultivation business, because with this oyster mushroom cultivation business it can improve their economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh persepsi konsumen dan brand image terhadap keputusan pembelian pada killiney coffee shop di kalangan generasi muda Kota Medan baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Selanjutnya merumuskan kebijakan dan strategi yang tepat untuk diimplementasikan guna meningkatkan perusahaan. Penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian.Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah generasi muda yang berusia 20-29 tahun yang berada di enam gerai yaitu; Killiney Coffee shop Tasbih,Killiney Coffee Shop Cemara Asri,Killiney Coffee Shop Sun Plaza,Killiney Coffee Shop Hermes Mall,Killieny Coffee Shop RS.USU,dan Killiney Coffee Shop RCW. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non probability sampling yaitu accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 90 pelanggan.Metode yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa elemen persepsi konsumen freshness,habitual facts, diffrent flavour, dan environtment of shop secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Killiney Coffee Shop di kalangan generasi muda di Kota Medan. Brand image Killiney Coffee Shop memiliki tiga elemen yang terdiri dari merek mudah diingat,merek mudah dikenal,dan reputasi merek secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Killiney Coffee Shop di kalangan generasi muda di Kota Medan. Dan keputusan pembelian yang terdiri dari attention,interest,expectation of desire, dan action berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap persepsi konsumen dan brand image Killiney Coffee Shop di kalangan generasi muda di Kota Medan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kompetensi Dan Pengembangan Karir Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Pada Dinas Pemuda Dan Olahraga Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang berjumlah 105 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 83 orang diambil secara acak dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Instrument pengambilan data menggunakan, angket dan pengamatan langsung kelapangan yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda Y=5,560 + 0,691 X1 + 0,583 X2, yang artinya kompetensi dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian dengan uji t menunjukkan 5.444 > 1,66, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil uji f (simultan) diketahui nilai signifikan pengaruh kompetensi dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai fhitung 55.687 ftabel 3,09. R square menunjukkan koefisien determinasi adalah sebesar 0,582, artinya kompetensi dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 58,2%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 41,8 dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui e-money dan kontrol diri berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada mahasiswa Perbankan Syariah Angkatan 2017 Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Penelitian yang diteliti dalah E-Money, Kontrol diri dan Perilaku Konsumtif. Perilaku konsumtif adalah sebagai social ekonomi perkembangannya dipengaruhi oleh faktor kultural, pentingnya peran mode yang mudah menular atau menyebabkan produk-produk tertentu, E-money pada hakikatnya merupakan uang tunai yang dikonversi kedalam data elektronik yang disimpan pada kartu penyimpanan berupachip atau server dan kontroldiri adalah kemampuan untuk membimbing tingkah lakunya sendiri; kemampuan untuk menekan atau merintangi impuls-implus atau tingkah laku yang impulsive. Jenis pengumpulan sampling menggunakannon probability sampling. Hasil Penelitian ini Hasil pengujian variabel E-money (X1) terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif (Y) diperoleh nilai t hitung (6,538) > t tabe (1,988) dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel E-money secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif, Kontrol Diri (X2) terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif (Y) diperoleh nilai t hitung (4,269) > t tabel (1,988) dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Kontrol Diri secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif, E-money dan Kontrol Diri secara simultan (bersama-sama) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif dan nilai koefisien determinasi pada kolom R Square sebesar 0,667 artinya variabel kontrol diri dan perilaku komsumtif memiliki pengaruh sebesar 66,7% terhadap variabel E-Money, sedangkan 33,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic banking in implementing financial inclusion in Indonesia. Financial inclusion is a process to provide access to formal finance for the poor and low income (unbankable people). This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach (mixed research). Qualitative data analysis uses an analytical technique developed by Straruss and Corbin with three major steps, namely open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. Quantitative data analysis uses comparative analysis of financial statements in 2010-2014 and analysis of financial ratios in the form of CAR, ROA, ROE, NPF, and FDR. This research proves that Islamic banking has great potential in implementing financial inclusion, as indicated by significant growth in funding and financing in 2010-2014 and the results of financial ratio analysis also show good performance and financial condition of Islamic banking.

Abstract

This study focuses on discussing the marketing strategy in increasing the number of customers by PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah KCP Stabat, after knowing the marketing strategy that was carried out, the writer will do a SWOT analysis. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method with an empirical approach. In this study, researchers used a collection technique, namely by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study explain the marketing strategy carried out by PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah KCP Stabat cannot be separated from the elements of the marketing mix, which consist of: product strategy, place strategy, price strategy, and promotion strategy. Among these marketing strategies, the most dominant is the promotion strategy which is carried out by means of advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, and direct marketing. In an effort to increase the number of customers PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah KCP Stabat conducts market segmentation, targeting, positioning and marketing mix. Based on the SWOT analysis it can be seen that PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah KCP Stabat has more advantages than weaknesses, therefore PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah KCP Stabat must be good at taking advantage of opportunities and defeating all threat factors to increase the number of customers.

The research examines various work productivity concepts used in organizational studies, assessing them through a systematic literature review and identifying research gaps. The method employed in this research is the literature study method. The data collection technique used is literature study obtained from journals and books. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis. The results of the research indicate that factors influencing employee work productivity include education, age, work environment, work experience, gender, work involvement, job satisfaction, wages, incentives, discipline, organizational culture, achievement motivation, and work creativity and leadership styles.
