Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build a decision support system for evaluating teacher performance using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method at SDN Inpres 09 Bandung. decision support for teacher performance evaluation uses the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method which can be used by school principals and assessment teams to provide teacher performance assessments. If previously when not using the system in the teacher performance appraisal process it took 1 week, now with the teacher performance appraisal system, the selection time is shorter, namely 15 minutes to 30 minutes. So that routine activities within the scope of SDN Inpres 09 Bandung are not disturbed by the process of evaluating teacher performance, then the process of making reports becomes easier and more systematic.

Abstract

Technology, especially in the information sector, is currently increasingly developing and many companies and institutions, including those in the education sector, are using information technology. Apart from that, there are still schools that do not use computer technology, including Islamic TPA. This school requires computer processing of tuition payment reports due to the large number of books needed to manage payments. Therefore, the use of computers is expected to overcome the administrative problems of Islamic TPA schools.

Abstract

Input and output devices are a system that exists on a computer. A computer is a system consisting of various specific components. These components will later be connected to each other and work together, to carry out processes so that they can produce information. In general, the function of a computer is to receive, process and produce data output, various forms of information in the form of text, audio, images or video. The method used in this research is an adapted literature study, and the research flow is described as follows. Figure 1 shows the data collection method used in this research. The purpose of this data collection is to obtain data that will be analyzed and processed so that any existing problems can be found and it is hoped that this research will find solutions to these problems. To collect data, study the literature. This research uses hardware and software to prove the input devices and output devices that are usually used in organizing computers. The characteristics of the I/O system are influenced by the technology of other components, for example the processor. The performance of the I/O system is more complex than the processor. Therefore, increasing CPU time without directly increasing I/O time does not necessarily improve system I/O performance. Computer system performance can be improved by improving hardware and software component technology. In this research, the focus is on I/O device performance, specifically I/O time. This research examines the relationship between CPU time, I/O time, and elapsed time. The results show that increasing CPU time results in increasing I/O time. I/O system performance is very important for computer users. Response time, also known as total elapsed time, is an important performance measure, especially for single-user and personal computers. In commercial computing, high throughput and short response times are required. Behavior, partners, and data rate are three characteristics used to evaluate I/O systems. The performance of a computer system is determined by various factors, including different users, performance measures, and aspects of the system. Performance improvements can be achieved by improving hardware factors that support overall system performance. Performance measurement can be done through response time (execution time) or throughput. Response time aims to minimize the time between starting and completing a task, while higher throughput can be achieved by serving multiple requests simultaneously. Based on research, it can be concluded that the quality of input, process and output in Islamic educational institutions is influenced by various factors. Student input is critical in determining the quality of education, and the institution has implemented a selective process to ensure the admission of motivated and dedicated students. The educational process is characterized by the application of discipline, adherence to schedules, and the instillation of religious values. The institution's output is reflected in the academic achievements of its students, as well as their motivation and participation in various competitions and activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through documentation and observation. Data analysis was carried out using triangulation and interpreted qualitatively. This study highlights the importance of a holistic approach to education, integrating religious values, community support, and parental involvement to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Knowledge about damage that often occurs to computer processors and how to handle this damage with experts is very important. The method used in this research is a literature study with descriptive explanations, where the author looks for as many references as possible regarding problems that often occur, especially computer processor damage and how to overcome them. The research results show that the dual-core capabilities of the processor can be utilized as optimally as possible by managing the use of processor resources by server applications that run simultaneously on the server computer, and also ensuring that the applications being run can work well. Damage that often occurs in computer software is generally related to problems with the operating system, applications or files used. Therefore, an expert system is a computer system designed to imitate human abilities in diagnosing problems or providing solutions based on their knowledge and experience in the context of computer processor failure..

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company operating in the cigarette industry. However, with increasing demand for products every year, companies are faced with pressure to fulfill orders in a shorter time and in larger quantities. This often results in intensive use of machines, thereby increasing the risk of occurrencedowntime on the machine. One of the machines that experiences the most damage is the HLP (Hinge Lid Packer), where this can harm the company in various ways. In order to find out how productive and efficient machines are for carrying out production tasks, this study will use the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and overall resource effectiveness (ORE) methods to evaluate the HLP machine, which stands for hinge lid packer. Estimated average value of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of 75.46% and ORE (Overall Resource Effectiveness) of 65.64%, which is not sufficient for the standard value of 85% set by Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM).

Abstract

FLSmidth Indonesia still has various wasteful activities in the spare-part warehousing flow process. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the kinds of waste that occur and the proposed improvements that can be given. The analysis in this study uses the lean warehousing method which consists of Waste Assessment Model (WAM), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT), and Fishbone Diagram. This study provides the results of the total percentage of important non-value-added activities and non-value-added activities is 50% or equivalent to the percentage of value-added activities, as well as a total lead time of 7448 minutes. After analyzing improvements using Process Activity Mapping (PAM) and fishbone diagrams, it was found that the percentage of value-added activities increased to 56% and the total lead time changed to 7648 minutes.

Abstract

The innovative approach to cancer patient data modeling has been employed in this research. We utilized the "Decision Tree" concept as a machine learning algorithm to analyze a dataset containing detailed information about patients, including age, gender, family history, and other medical test results. Through meticulous data study steps, we compiled a relevant dataset and then performed data classification to determine the target variable, whether a patient can be categorized as likely to have lung cancer or not. Input variables were carefully grouped to ensure the accuracy of the analysis. Data analysis using the Decision Tree algorithm provided profound insights into the significant factors in predicting cancer symptoms in patients. The results of this analysis were interpreted carefully, and performance model evaluation metrics, such as accuracy and precision, were provided to offer a comprehensive understanding of the reliability of the generated model. The findings of this research have important implications for the understanding and management of cancer in patients. The application of this method can enhance accuracy in predicting cancer status, assist in clinical decision-making, and ultimately improve the quality of patient care.

Abstract

Human resources or labor are important assets for a company. Effective human resource management can create an optimal work environment to increase workforce productivity in the company. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of the work environment, organizational culture, and employee engagement on job satisfaction and performance in production department employees at PT. XYZ uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. PT. XYZ is a pioneer company in marine equipment and maritime services located in Surabaya, East Java. The research results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction, employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction, the work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on employee satisfaction, and employee satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

In this study, the creator highlights research regarding one of the advancements in human-made conscious innovation, especially robots. The progress of robots is very complex and currently similar to humans. The examination technique used is to use a written survey by looking at books, diaries and other writings that can be used as reasons for research, with educational provisions it will build scientists' insight and develop information about the problems raised in the research. . In certain countries, robots are widely used and are starting to replace human tasks, for example in Japan, robots are widely used in cafes and accommodation areas. By utilizing robots, human work begins to decrease. This exploration creates opportunities if robots are used in retail or shopping areas, with this system providing suggestions for the advancement of mechanical technology in Indonesia.

Abstract

BPJS Employment launched an agency system, the National Social Security Drive or named Perisai. Through the Perisai agency system, BPJS Employment seeks to expand the scope of membership. There was a policy change in February 2022 so research was carried out to analyze the influence of incentive and motivation programs on the performance and loyalty of shield agents. The analysis in this research carried out questionnaires distributed to 40 shield agents and processed using the Partial Least Square method using Smart PLS. This research showed that the incentive program influenced performance, while motivation variables did not influence performance, and performance influenced the loyalty of the shield agent's performance.
