Abstract

PT XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of extruded aluminum profile products. The problem experienced by PT XYZ is that the company often orders several types of color powder raw materials separately even though they come from the same supplier. This causes more frequent orders to be made. The company also sometimes experiences shortages and excess stock of color powder raw materials which can cause swelling of the company's inven-tory costs. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal inventory control of color pow-der raw materials to minimize the company's total inventory costs. This research was conducted using a probabilistic model approach with the periodic review joint replenishment method. This method is carried out with a periodic review (p) model, ordering raw materials will be carried out in combination every certain time interval. The calculation results obtained the minimum total inventory cost is with the Periodic Review Joint Replenishment method of Rp 19.519.552.589,- compared to the company method of Rp 19.670.799.095,-. Thus, a savings of Rp 151.246.506 is obtained, or a savings percentage of 0.8%. Forecasting for the period November 2023 - October 2024, the value of the order time interval is obtained every 15 working days with the inven-tory level of each raw material is for white powder of 22.336 kg, brown powder of 12.413 kg, black powder of 8.290 kg, and milk white powder of 1.882 kg with a total inventory cost of color powder raw materials of Rp 19.559.415.435.

Abstract

PT. Danadipa Bertu Perkasa is a company operating in the construction sector. Based on observations, the company currently has not measured overall performance and only uses two criteria, namely strategic planning and process management. PT. Danadipa Bertu Perkasa has problems related to the service process or meeting targets which are always not on time, the average delay is 2 to 3 months from the initial target. This results in disrupted company finances and delayed employee salaries, which causes employee performance to decline. Therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze the results of measuring company performance using the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence (MBCfPE) method, determine the position of the company's performance level, and provide recommendations for improvement. The research results show that the company's performance position is in the Emerging Industry Leader class with a score of 674.77. It is known that in the performance of company employees the highest score is in the leadership category at 69.78%. Meanwhile, the lowest score was in the measurement, analysis and knowledge management category at 59.03%. So, companies must pay attention to managing data, information and knowledge resources, as well as how to make good use of information technology.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of smartphone technology has made smartphone manufacturers compete in creating classy products in order to attract consumers in making purchasing decisions, especially Xiaomi vendors. Xiaomi ranks 5th in market share in Indonesia in 2023, which proves the need for improvements in terms of price, product quality, brand image and promotion. This research aims to determine price, product quality, brand image and promotion. Purchase and repurchase decisions are affected. This research can be used as a strategy to compete with other competitors. This research uses the Structural Equation Modeling method. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 135 Xiaomi smartphone users. The results of this research show that price and brand image have a significant impact on purchasing and repurchasing decisions. Xiaomi is advised to improve the promotional aspect. It is possible that if Xiaomi management makes improvements to the promotional variables, it will be able to win the smartphone market share in Indonesia again.

Abstract

One company that produces rotogravure products is PT. Diantrijaya Mukti Utama. The company implements a make to order production system. In this research, problems were found in the rotogravure production section. Namely in the form of damage to the printing machine with the average age of the machine being still young but often causing defects. The aim of this research is to identify potential failures on printing machines, find out the root causes of their occurrence on printing machines using the fault tree analysis method and produce alternative recommendations for improvement using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method in the printing process at PT Diantrijaya Mukti Utama. The research results showed that there were 3 types of defects in the PT printing process. Diantrijaya Mukti Utama, namely hazing defects, streaks and ink fading with a chance of defects occurring of 0.03%, 0.005%, 0.013%. Of these three defects, the causes of defects include workers being less skilled in setting the doctor blade, the doctor blade being used being damaged. Recommended improvements are to provide training related to the use of doctor blades to workers so they can know how to use and care for the doctor blades used

Abstract

PT ABC merupakan perusahaan bahan bakar energi terbarukan ramah lingkungan dengan berbagai macam produk dan merek. Dalam penyimpanan bahan pendukung seringkali terjadi ketidaksesuaian stok fisik dengan data yang dimiliki oleh penanggung jawab gudang. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena belum diterapkannya sistem pencatatan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem aplikasi yang dapat mengelola persediaan di gudang. Appsheet merupakan aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi warehouse inventory management system. Aplikasi ini terintegrasi dengan aplikasi lain seperti Google Drive dan Google Spreadsheet. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Penelitian ini dimulai dari tahapan perencanaan, analisis, desain, penerapan, dan pemeliharaan yang menghasilkan rancangan sistem aplikasi yang dibutuhkan PT ABC. Sistem yang dikembangkan menciptakan suatu solusi dengan biaya yang sangat terjangkau dan beroperasi secara lebih fleksibel dibandingkan dengan sistem manajemen persediaan gudang yang sedang digunakan saat ini.

Abstract

Today, caution toward customers satisfication and dissatisfication is bigger and bigger. The competation is very stick with a great number of produsen in the same field. Therefore, each company must orientation to customers satisfication as particular goals. Desire and wish customers is not easy desribe. The customers always is not tell about wish them and there are many products is not success because misunderstanding wish customer. The drinking water package company must orientation to its customer need. In several years ago, Total Quality Management (TQM) is philosophy paradigm which is looking by industri and academic. Traditional Approach, Description Analysis and Structure Approach with Contigency Table and Chi-Square are technique for measuring customers satisfication as quality function in support TQM applied. This research will discuss about how to know level of customers satisfication toward quality drinking water package to increase quality product. Based on questionnaire given to the drinking water of package customers in research area then data collected and done data tabulation. According to data tabulation later then data analysed. It can be inffered that : (1) Result of Chi-square consist of Chi-table are 9.4877285, probability value are 0.1183145 and Chi-Count are 7.3541483. Showed that Chi-count (7.3541483) < Chi-table (9.4877285) and based on result computer calculation, P-valuae are 0.1183145 is greater than level of significant (0.05). It mean contigency table is independent or customers satisfication towards product of drinking water of package is not dependent of customers gander, (2) customers preception towards indicator of quality product of drinking water of package is the best than same product from competitor. It described in avarage of quality indicators value are 3.722. If this value, we will comparative with standard value, so avarage of quality indicator value are 3.693 is positive category, (3) avarage of relative index value give very satisfication to variables customer are (a) the product is delicious, (b) high brand reputation, and the variables customers have lower are (a) brand is containt product information, (b) product is suitable for all customers and (c) competitive price.

Abstract

The background for carrying out this research is to create a logic gate simulation using a PLC (Programmable Logic Controlled) application, namely using the Zeliosoft 2 application, thereby reducing the risk of damage when creating electronic circuits manually. The aim of this research is to show the effectiveness of logic gates and how to operate them using the Zeliosoft 2 program. This research uses a simulation approach with a laptop running the Zelio Soft 2 program in the Electrical Engineering Vocational Education laboratory. The results obtained show that the simulation results carried out on the application are in accordance with the logic gate truth table. This is proven by the data produced in the research on each logic gate which is simulated according to the truth table.

Abstract

Renewable energy systems require effective and efficient power control for men-optimizing electricity production. One of the power control technologies used in renewable energy systems is DC Chopper. DC Chopper is an electronic device used to control the voltage and electric current in the DC system. In this study, the development of DC Chopper as a power controller in the renewable energy system was discussed. This research is to introduce the use of DC Chopper as a power controller in the renewable energy system and to the effect of the use of DC Chopper on the production of the new system. This research is the method of using a delay experiment to test DC Chopper on the solar panel system. The results showed that the use of DC Chopper PANA solar panel system can increase the efficiency of electricity production level 20%. In addition, Chopper DC Rona can increase the reliability and age of the renewable energy system because it can reduce the burden on the system.

Abstract

Cryptography has become a technology that has developed rapidly in the last decade. The development of this technology is changing the paradigm for information security in maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of data. The aim of this research is to see how cryptographic technology is used in the novel Digital Fortress. The method used uses a hermeneutic approach. The results obtained show that the use of cryptography in this literary work is realized through a decryption machine called Transltr which has a unique ability to break codes. The use of cryptography in this novel is also described as a tool to protect or threaten information security, depending on who is using it and for what purpose.
