Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of misconceptions that occur in students by applying the four-tier diagnostic test method on photoelectric effect material. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The samples of this research were 25 students of semester VII D and IX of physics education study program of Medan State University. The research instrument in the form of a four-tier diagnostic test using google form which consists of four levels, namely questions with one correct answer along with three exceptions, the level of confidence in the answer, the reason, and the level of confidence in the reason. The data collection technique used is by filling out the diagnostic test using. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative by finding the percentage of student misconceptions in each question. From the results of the study, it can be seen that students experience misconceptions in each question of photoelectric effect material with an average percentage of misconceptions of 34.67%. This percentage is classified as moderate category misconceptions. The highest percentage of misconceptions occurred in questions number 1 and 2 by 40%. Abstract

The resolution of disputes over certified land rights in purchase and sale transactions is a crucial issue in agrarian law in Indonesia. Legal uncertainty often arises due to double claims, incomplete documents, or disputes between parties claiming to have the same land rights. The existence of a land right certificate is the result of the land registration process. As stated in Article 19 paragraph (2) of the UUPA, land registration includes several series of activities that end with the provision of valid proof of rights as a valid means of proof. This study aims to analyze the dispute resolution mechanism and the role of legal institutions and land administration in ensuring legal certainty. Thus, it can be said that a right to the land has a certificate as proof of its rights. On the other hand, if a land right does not have a certificate, it means that the land is registered as required by the applicable laws and regulations, the method used is a qualitative approach with case studies in several areas that experience land rights disputes. The results of the study show that mediation and arbitration can be an effective alternative settlement before taking the litigation route. In addition, the importance of transparency in the land certification process and legal education for the community is the main highlight to reduce conflicts. These findings are expected to provide recommendations for policymakers and the public in maintaining the stability of land rights in Indonesia.

Abstract

Paper is an essential product in everyday life, in the last decade there has been a change with significant growth in the use of paper, namely the use of recycled paper with used paper waste materials. The use of used paper waste raw materials is carried out to continue to meet the need for paper; even though we have now entered the digitalization era, it cannot be denied that paper is still an essential need in supporting various daily activities. The use of kraft paper (recycled paper) is more in demand by several packaging manufacturers, apart from its environmentally friendly nature, aesthetic factors, and lower prices. Kraft paper is a favorite in the packaging world. This high opportunity does not align with Wijaya Paper's sales in the last two years (2022-2023). Wijaya Paper experienced a decline in turnover compared to 2019-2021 during the first 3 years of the company's establishment. The occurrence of tight market competition, with the implementation of the Ansoff Matrix strategy, with the implementation of Market Penetration and Cost Leadership, is no longer practical because many new competitors have emerged by offering lower prices with illegal goods, imported goods, and leftover roll goods. Through this study, we will discuss how to achieve cost efficiency using the Blue Ocean Strategy approach by identifying SWOT, Key Success Factor, ERRC, and Canvas Strategy so that it can produce the right innovation design for business entities. The research method used in this study is a qualitative triangulation study with informants consisting of internal management, loyal Wijaya Paper consumers, Wijaya Paper competitors, and experts represented by the Marketing Director of PT Adiprima Suraprinta. The results of this study are the design of marketing strategy innovations using the blue ocean strategy approach to increase paper and packaging sales at Wijaya Paper.

Abstract

The advancement of communication media and technology has driven various business sectors to transform digitally, including fishing businesses in South Tangerang City. However, many fishing businesses still lack adequate information systems to manage company profiles and customer data in an integrated manner. This research aims to analyze, design, and implement a fishing profile website equipped with customer data management features using the Waterfall software development methodology. The waterfall methodology was chosen for its systematic and structured approach, which involves five main stages: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The process begins with requirements analysis and collecting necessary customer data to proceed to the data integration stage, followed by system design and implementation by developing a user-friendly web-based fishing profile application. System testing uses black box testing to ensure all features function properly. The research results show that the developed fishing profile website provides professional information and manages customer data, including customer registration, visit history, and service preferences for available fishing products. This system can enhance operational efficiency and strengthen fishing businesses' customer relationships. In conclusion, integrating customer data into a fishing business profile website can serve as an effective solution to support digital transformation in this sector.

Abstract

The advancement of technology, particularly in computer networks, has enabled global connectivity through the Internet. Computer networks connecting various devices allow for information sharing and communication. One common issue is slow internet speed due to suboptimal bandwidth utilization. To address this issue, bandwidth management becomes crucial, especially in managing multiple applications at PT. XYZ, bandwidth management is implemented using a Mikrotik router using the Queue Tree method. This method allows for flexible and fair bandwidth allocation, ensuring every device has a stable internet connection. This method helps enhance efficiency and ensures bandwidth allocation is aligned with user needs, resulting in smooth and evenly distributed connectivity across the network.

Abstract

This study uses a phonetic technique to analyze the vowel sounds in Halsey's “Gasoline” and “Colors” songs. The use of long and short vowels in the lyrics is the subject of the examination. The study aims to present research findings on the long and short vowels in Halsey’s songs “Gasoline” and “Colors.” The writer also determines the impact of long and short vowels on the songs. The research methodology is a qualitative approach. The writer uses phonetics studies to analyze the long and short vowel sounds displayed in a table to provide a thorough understanding of the vowel sounds in the lyrics. According to the study, Halsey's songs' emotional effect is greatly influenced by phonetics, particularly long and short vowels. There are 87 examples of long vowels and 49 of short vowels. In the song "Colors” there are 72 examples of long vowels and 28 of short vowels, demonstrating how vowel articulation such as /iː/, /ɑː/, and /uː/ may improve emotion and intelligibility. Research on the significance of vowel sounds in successful vocal performance is supported by the notion that anatomical elements, such as the location of the tongue and lips, are necessary for appropriate pronunciation. The results provide insights into phonetics and linguistics in lyrics and demonstrate how vowel usage enhances emotional expressiveness in music.

Abstract

Web accessibility is crucial to creating an inclusive digital space, particularly for individuals with disabilities. This study aims to analyze the application of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) principles on the Tokopedia e-commerce platform and to develop a prototype website that optimally integrates accessibility elements. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, including website analysis, assistive technology testing using the NVDA screen reader, and prototype website development based on Tailwind CSS. The results reveal that Tokopedia has implemented some accessibility elements, such as heading structures and alt text, but still has shortcomings in keyboard navigation, ARIA attributes, and product descriptions. The prototype website successfully addresses these issues by providing optimized keyboard navigation, comprehensive use of ARIA attributes, and informative product descriptions. Testing shows that the prototype website is not only accessible to visually impaired users but also enhances usability for the general audience. This study concludes that web accessibility can improve inclusivity and user comfort for all. The findings provide practical guidance for web developers to optimize accessibility design and create a more equitable digital experience. Therefore, this research contributes to the literature and web accessibility practices in Indonesia.
