Abstract

The community service of the English Speaking Skill Training for the Wini Coastal Community at the NKRI-RDTL border was carried out by a service team, namely lecturers and university students from the University of Timor. Wini Beach is located in North Insana District, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The training was held for three days at the Hamusu Wini Village Office and Community Center. The method used in this training is a speaking test of Describing Tanjung Bastian by a guide to foreign tourists. The number of community service participants is 39, ranging from 14 - 40 years old, from various backgrounds. After the training, it can be concluded that the trainees can describe Tanjung Bastian in English. The servicers also suggested that similar training could be carried out to improve the knowledge and fluency of the Wini coastal community in speaking English.

Abstract

The new normal era is the perfect place for the government and society to solve economic problems caused by a disease called COVID-19. Taking advantage of this new normal era, the Riau University KKN group took the initiative to visit UMKMs with the aim of reviving the economy of UMKM agents through digital marketing strategies using social media and electronic commerce. The implementation method used in this program is participatory method. The target partner is one of the MSMEs in West Sidomulyo Village, Pekanbaru City, namely UMKM Siomay Cakrabuana. The partner has a problem in the form of an economic downturn due to the closure of several branches due to the COVID-19 event. The result of this activity is that the KKN group received an enthusiastic and positive response from UMKM owners, as well as improving the economy of UMKM agents by implementing digital marketing and e-commerce as an effective and efficient communication and marketing tool in business activities. This is expected to be a solution to the main goal so as to enable them to maintain their own economy.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the sectors that support economic growth in Indonesia. The MSME sector must be able to provide its financial reports. This community service was carried out in Kolo Village, Bima City, NTB, one of the areas where MSMEs have not been able to fully keep simple bookkeeping. The purpose of the Community Service (PKM) activity entitled Simple Bookkeeping Training for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) processing seafood in the Kolo Sub-District, Kota Bima is so that the people in Kolo Sub-District, Kota Bima, where the majority are MSME actors, are able to make simple bookkeeping of financial transactions. owned so that receipts, expenses and profits (profits) or losses obtained can be measured and controlled to determine the progress of their business from time to time. The method used is training on simple bookkeeping by using the Cash Receipt and Disbursement Book for all MSME operational activities. The Simple Bookkeeping Training for MSMEs in the Kolo Village, Kota Bima, received a positive response. Outcome of Community Service activities This community (PKM) is MSME actors who are able to keep books of their business on a regular basis using the Cash Receipt and Expenditure Book and calculate profits (profits) or losses correctly.

Abstract

The problem that is often faced by village government officials in terms of efficiency and improving performance is the lack of skills in managing records so that public services are not optimal. Efforts are being made to build an information system in the form of website communication media and a village information system so that it can assist and improve the performance of village officials. Implementation of community service in the form of SID website design activities developed in Bedah Lawak Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency using a simple interface design. Furthermore, socialization, mentoring, and evaluation of activities are carried out to see the sustainability of the community service program. This service activity succeeded in designing the SID website and socialization was carried out in general the village community was very enthusiastic and very helpful in the performance of village officials. This website is able to provide information for the village community and support the performance of village officials for easy access to public services. The results of the SID Web seminar showed that 37% of the people were satisfied and 50% were very satisfied with the existence of the village website and were able to improve the performance of village officials by 67%. This shows that the SID website is very helpful for the community in accessing information and providing easy service to administrative needs in the village. In addition, the SID website is able to improve the performance of the village apparatus in serving the needs of the community.

Abstract

Indonesia termasuk dalam negara ketiga dengan prevalensi tertinggi di Asia Tenggara. Salah satu yang masih menjadi kendala dalam pencegahan stunting adalah lambatnya pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak, terutama di wilayah pedesaan. Proses pencatatan pertumbuhan balita di Posyandu membutuhkan waktu yang lama karena masih bersifat manual. Pengetahuan masyarakat tentang cara pencegahan Stunting pada balita masih minim. Selain itu, masyarakat kurang proaktif dalam melaporkan kasus stunting.Proses pendeteksian kasus Stunting hanya berdasar pengukuran di Posyandu, belum ada kesadaran warga yang ingin melaporkan kasus Stunting. Untuk mengatasi masalah diatas, perlu dibangun sebuah sistem informasi untuk mencatat pertumbuhan balita dan secara otomatis menentukan status gizi balita. Sistem informasi ini dapat diakses oleh orang tua, operator Puskesmas atau pihak lain yang berkepentingan.Data yang tersimpan di sistem infromasi tersebut dapat diekspor ke sistem e-PPGBM Kementerian Kesehatan, sehingga operator tidak lagi harus memasukkan data secara manual ke e-PPGBM. Untuk memudahkan bidan,pengukuran berat dan tinggi badan balita menggunakan perangkat IoT, sehingga bidan tidak perlu menulis manual. Proses entri data dari pengukuran oleh bidan ke aplikasi dapat dilakukan tanpa sinyal internet, proses sinkronisasi nantinya dapat dilakukan ketika bidan sudah berada di tempat yang terjangkau sinyal internet. Selain itu, perlu dilakukan penyuluhan kepada warga tentang bahaya Stunting dan cara pencegahannya.

Abstract

Swelling Mangrove Center is the name of a tourist spot in the village of Bengkak, Wongsorejo sub-district, Banyuwangi district, to be precise on Jalan Situbondo, Possumur Hamlet, with a land area of ​​around 4 hectares. The Swelling Mangrove Center is a combination of beach and mangrove tourism which is managed by a local community group called Pokmawas Tirta Wangi which is chaired by Mr. Sanijo. Based on the results of interviews with him, many of the Mangrove plants in the Mangrove Center have died and have not been cared for, apart from that there are still many vacant lands that have not been planted with mangroves. This is due to the low level of public awareness of the sustainability of mangrove forests. Based on the problems above, it is necessary to (1) socialize the importance of mangrove forests, the benefits of each part of the mangrove, and the procedure for planting mangrove seedlings, and (2) planting 1000 mangroves by inviting local communities and students in the village of Bengkak. After the community service activities were carried out, the community and students understood the importance of mangrove forests and knew the benefits of each part of the mangrove, starting from the seeds to the leaves, as well as the vacant land in the mangrove center, most of which had been planted with mangrove tree seedlings

Abstract

Optimizing the interests and talents of students on campuses with Islamic nuances needs to be done and there are no restrictions on this. This is also supported by the slogan of the Ministry of Religion which is moderate in religion with the meaning that everything in the implementation of organizational activities should be based on fair and equitable principles and not take sides on one side. It is necessary to explore the interests and talents of students in the field of choir. Its existence as an important activity in every event carried out by the campus places it as a priority activity position and training needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis. However, the problem is that the choir team at STAIN Mandailing Natal does not always stay because the team consisting of students always changes every year with different characteristics. Therefore, this choir training needs to be carried out routinely with the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The result of this dedication is the ability to harmonize the STAIN Mandailing Natal Student Choir in the 2022 Ministry of Religion HAB. In addition to that, students are also able to collaborate with local art groups, namely the MAN 1 Mandailing Natal Marching Band team.

Abstract

This form of community service is the implementation of the Literacy Village Program in the RT 03 RW 16 area, Mekarjaya Village, Sukmajaya District, Depok by providing educational reading books for elementary school-age children that have educational value. The activities carried out for the children there are in the form of reading books that have educational value. There are several stages that will be carried out by the Abdimas team. The first stage, namely finding out and identifying the problems felt by partners and subjects of community service, namely elementary school-age children. You do this by asking Mitra Abdimas as the Head of the RT there and making observations in the RT 03 area to see the activities of the children there. The second stage is to provide a place to organize the Literacy Village Program for the children there. Apart from that, the community service team provided reading books as well as prepared the necessary equipment to be used for the children's activities there. The method used in this community service is to use the literacy learning method. The literacy learning method is a Select-Know-Read-Invented-Discussion (PiKeBaDiCi) method, namely 1) choosing and recognizing books; 2) reading books; 3) discuss the theme; and 4) creating work. The existence of this community service activity can make children in the RT 03 area more enthusiastic about learning and reading with their friends. The friendship between them became even closer and the boredom and boredom that they had experienced all this time disappeared and was replaced by a feeling of pleasure during the reading activity. The feeling of pleasure from participating in community service activities has an impact on children's enthusiasm for learning and reading together as well as increasing their literacy skills. The results achieved were: 1) the availability of knowledge and information services in the non-formal education pathway in the form of books and non-books, 2) school-age children increase their knowledge, skills and develop positive attitudes, so that they have better literacy skills, 3) the availability of information services to children related to 2 of the 6 components of literacy, namely literacy and numeracy.

Abstract

Many children or adolescents still suffer from imbalances in nutritional intake. The Indonesian government, in particular, has created an educational program, "Isi Piringku", to restore the Indonesian people's nutritional intake. One form of government effort is the existence of teaching materials about healthy food for grade 5 elementary school students. This service aims to educate grade 5 elementary school students on "Fill My Plate". The method used in the implementation of this educational service is reflective thinking. The results obtained from this activity were that elementary school students had fairly good basic knowledge regarding healthy types of food but did not know that knowledge was a guideline the government had recommended with the theme of the contents of my plate. Balanced nutrition education activities must be carried out continuously at all levels of society.

Abstract

Indonesia is the country with the largest muslim population in the world, so it is a domestic market for halal products. The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector is the driving agent of the halal value chain. UD Sofia Cookies is one of the MSMEs in Surabaya that produces various pastries or cookies. UD Sofia Cookies already has a PIRT distribution permit and is currently making efforts to register halal certification. One of the criteria for the halal assurance system (SJH) from LPPOM MUI is the traceability system. Traceability is an aspect needed to ensure the halalness of halal product materials starting from the purchase of raw materials, production processes, to logistics and product distribution. Traceability can increase consumer confidence as well as a requirement for food safety, health, and authenticity of food products. UD Sofia cookies have not implemented a halal traceability system, so they require socialization and assistance in implementing a halal traceability system. The results of socialization and assistance show that UD Sofia Cookies employees have been able to implement a halal traceability system. So that UD Sofia Cookies can proceed to the next stage to register a halal certificate.
