Abstract

This research looks at how financial knowledge and management skills affect the success of businesses in Bireuen Regency, which is in Aceh Province. Business success is a key sign of how well a region's economy is doing, but many business people still have trouble with managing money and running their operations smoothly. This study used a quantitative method and conducted a survey. The study included all registered business people at the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs in Bireuen Regency, and 150 people were chosen as participants through a purposeful sampling method. Data was gathered using questionnaires and then examined with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26 software. The findings indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant impact on business success (β = 0.412; t = 4.873; p < 0.05), and business management also has a positive and significant effect on business success (β = 0.387; t = 4.521; p < 0.05). When both financial literacy and business management are considered together, they have a combined significant effect on business success (F = 48.672; p < 0.05), and they explain 57.3% of the variation in business success. This suggests that when business people in Bireuen Regency have better knowledge about money and stronger skills in managing their businesses, it greatly helps them achieve success.

Abstract

Anemia in adolescent girls is still a fairly high public health problem in Indonesia. One of the government's efforts to prevent anemia is through the program of giving tablets added Blood (TTD) to young women. However, the compliance rate of TTD consumption is still relatively low because it is influenced by various factors, especially individual perceptions of the benefits, risks, and side effects of TTD. This study aims to analyze the perception of adolescent girls on the consumption behavior of tablets added blood based on the results of research that has been published as well as its relevance to the condition of adolescent girls in the villages and towns of Jambi province. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with PRISMA approach. Articles are obtained from various national scientific sources relevant to the research topic. A total of 10 articles that meet the inclusion criteria were systematically analyzed based on research focus, methods, and results obtained. The results showed that the perception of adolescent girls have a significant influence on the behavior of TTD consumption. Perceptions regarding the benefits of TTD, susceptibility to anemia, the severity of anemia, and confidence in the effectiveness of TTD contribute to improving consumption compliance. On the contrary, negative perceptions related to side effects, discomfort, and lack of environmental support are the main barriers to TTD consumption. In addition to perception factors, knowledge, family support, teacher support, health workers, and peers also play a role in shaping TTD consumption behavior. Therefore, a sustainable education strategy is needed to improve the understanding and positive perception of adolescent girls towards the consumption of tablets added blood in order to reduce the rate of anemia among adolescents.

Abstract

Fish distribution requires efficient transportation facilities because fish are highly perishable commodities and are strongly affected by time, temperature, and logistics costs. This study aimed to analyze the efficiency of four-wheeled fish transport facilities and to formulate efficiency strategies for fish transportation at Batulicin Fishing Port, South Kalimantan. The study used a mixed-methods approach. Load factor analysis was applied to assess vehicle-capacity efficiency, while IFE, EFE, and SWOT analyses were used to formulate management strategies. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and port distribution documents. The results showed that the load factor reached 100%, indicating that four-wheeled fish transport facilities were in the efficient category. The IFE results showed total scores of 3.59 for fishers, 3.41 for agents, and 3.53 for transport drivers. The EFE results showed total scores of 3.65 for fishers, 3.13 for agents, and 3.77 for transport drivers. The priority strategies include strengthening coordination among distribution actors, improving cold chain facilities, adopting digital distribution technology, optimizing routes and loads, conducting regular vehicle maintenance, and providing emergency storage facilities. This study confirms that transport efficiency is determined not only by capacity utilization, but also by facility quality, distribution management, infrastructure support, and the ability of actors to respond to external risks.

Abstract

Employee performance is a critical factor in achieving organizational effectiveness and sustainability. Although previous studies have extensively examined the effects of intrinsic motivation, affective commitment, and organizational culture on employee performance, inconsistent findings remain regarding the influence of motivation on performance, and limited evidence exists concerning the simultaneous moderating role of organizational culture in the relationships between intrinsic motivation, affective commitment, and employee performance, particularly within the agribusiness sector. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effects of intrinsic motivation and affective commitment on employee performance, with organizational culture serving as a moderating variable at PT. Indojaya Agrinusa Hatchery Unit Pekanbaru. This study employed a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 71 employees selected using a census technique from the total population of employees at PT. Indojaya Agrinusa Hatchery Unit Pekanbaru. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Affective commitment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, organizational culture has a positive and significant direct effect on employee performance. However, organizational culture does not significantly moderate the relationship between intrinsic motivation and employee performance, nor does it significantly moderate the relationship between affective commitment and employee performance. The coefficient of determination analysis reveals that the model explains 52.9% of the variance in employee performance. The findings imply that organizations should prioritize strategies aimed at strengthening employees’ intrinsic motivation, emotional attachment, and organizational culture to improve performance. This study contributes to the human resource management literature by providing empirical evidence from the Indonesian hatchery industry and demonstrating that organizational culture functions primarily as a direct determinant of employee performance rather than as a moderating mechanism.

Abstract

This study examines the meaning of justice constructed in the film Keadilan (The Verdict, 2025) directed by Lee Chang-hee and Yusron Fuadi through a mass communication perspective using Stuart Hall's encoding/decoding theory. This Indonesian–South Korean collaboration consistently raises critiques of the legal system, class-based impunity, and institutional failures of the judiciary. The study employs a qualitative-interpretive textual analysis method. The analysis reveals that the film encodes three layered dimensions of justice: (1) procedural justice as an object of critique, where formal legal systems are portrayed as mechanisms vulnerable to manipulation by power and capital; (2) distributive justice as an ideological substructure affirming that access to legal protection follows lines of socioeconomic inequality; and (3) restorative justice as deliberate ambiguity, inviting audiences to reflect on the boundary between justice and revenge. Through narrative, character construction, mise-en-scène, cinematography, and dialogue, the film positions itself in an encoding stance of strategic subversive complicity using popular genre forms as vehicles for substantial social critique. These findings affirm the relevance of Hall's theory in dissecting film texts as arenas of ideological meaning contestation, particularly within the context of legal and justice representation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Flavonoids are naturally occurring bioactive compounds widely found in fruits, vegetables, tea, and various medicinal plants. Numerous studies have demonstrated that flavonoids exhibit biological activities involved in the regulation of cell growth, metabolism, and aging processes through their effects on the growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) signaling axis. The GH/IGF-1 pathway plays a crucial role in growth regulation, cellular differentiation, energy metabolism, and the development of various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. Therefore, understanding the interaction between flavonoids and this signaling pathway is essential for the development of natural product-based therapeutic strategies. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify, retrieve, and synthesize scientific evidence regarding the role of flavonoids in modulating the GH and IGF-1 signaling pathways. Literature searches were conducted across several international scientific databases following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Eligible articles were then qualitatively analyzed to evaluate the molecular mechanisms of flavonoids in the regulation of components within the GH/IGF-1 signaling pathway. The results indicate that various flavonoids, including quercetin, kaempferol, genistein, epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), and luteolin, can modulate the GH/IGF-1 axis by regulating IGF-1 receptor expression and downstream signaling pathways such as PI3K/AKT/mTOR and MAPK. These mechanisms contribute to the regulation of cell proliferation, induction of apoptosis, reduction of oxidative stress, and improvement of metabolic homeostasis. Overall, these findings suggest that flavonoids hold potential as therapeutic and preventive agents in conditions associated with dysregulation of the GH/IGF-1 signaling pathway.
