Abstract

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in Indonesia supports the national economy by contributing 61% of Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product. The MSME sector also absorbs 97% of the total national workforce. The aim of the research is to examine the effect of implementing the Prosperous Credit Program (PROKESRA) on sales growth and labor absorption. This research also examines the effect of MSME sales growth on labor absorption and examines the impact of credit terms on the effect of PROKESRA policy implementation on sales growth. The type of research is quantitative. The research population was 191 MSME actors accessing credit with interest subsidies in the Regency/City areas of East Java Province. The sample of PROKESRA credit recipients with interest subsidies was 191 MSMEs. Implementation of PROKESRA has a positive effect on labor absorption. This shows that 94% of PROKESRA has been implemented. Implementation of PROKESRA has no effect on sales growth, nor does sales growth have an effect on labor absorption. This shows that PROKESRA has not been able to support optimal sales growth, which is still at 48% (<50%). Furthermore, the credit period has an impact on the positive influence of the Implementation of PROKESRA on Labor Absorption. The impact of the credit term is categorized as a Pure Moderator.

Abstract

The livestock sector plays a strategic role in strengthening food security, rural income generation, and sustainable agribusiness development in emerging economies. However, access to capital remains a critical constraint for small-scale livestock farmers, particularly under conventional interest-based financing systems that impose rigid repayment obligations amid biological and market uncertainties. This study aims to design and evaluate a mudharabah-based dairy goat investment model by integrating Islamic contract principles with livestock production economics. Using a quantitative financial feasibility modeling approach, the study simulates a one-year partnership contract incorporating milk revenue sharing, offspring profit allocation, biological production cycles, risk mitigation mechanisms, and monthly return distribution. Financial performance is assessed using Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), and Payback Period, complemented by sensitivity analysis under optimistic, moderate, and pessimistic scenarios. The results indicate that the dual-revenue mudharabah model generates positive returns, maintains financial feasibility under moderate production variability, and enhances liquidity through periodic income distribution. From a theoretical perspective, the study extends Agency Theory by demonstrating that profit-sharing mechanisms improve incentive alignment and reduce agency costs, while operationalizing Islamic Contract Theory into a measurable agribusiness investment framework. The findings suggest that mudharabah-based livestock investment offers an economically viable, sharia-compliant, and socially inclusive financing alternative for sustainable rural development.

Abstract

Teacher performance assessment is a crucial aspect of improving the quality of education. However, manual assessment processes are often inefficient and time-consuming. Therefore, this study develops an E-Service Quality application aimed at evaluating teacher performance more effectively using the SERVQUAL method. The SERVQUAL method is used to measure service quality based on five key dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This application allows educational staff to assess teacher performance based on predefined indicators. The collected data is then analyzed to identify gaps between user expectations and the received service quality. The research results indicate that the implementation of the E-Service Quality application can enhance transparency and objectivity in teacher performance assessment. Additionally, this application provides faster and more accurate result, making it a valuable tool for decision-making in improving teaching quality.

Abstract

Posyandu is a community health service that plays an important role in maintaining the health of mothers and children. However, the implementation of administration and data reporting is often hindered by the lack of understanding among cadres, administrative procedures, and low mastery of technology. This study aims to analyze the understanding of Posyandu cadres, administrative procedures, and technology mastery in improving reporting efficiency. The study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a questionnaire as the main instrument, involving Posyandu cadres. The sampling technique used is Convenience Sampling, where respondents are selected based on who is willing or who fills out the questionnaire, with a total of 68 cadres. Data analysis to test the hypothesis uses Path Analysis with SPSS version 30 application program. The results of the analysis show that the hypothesis of cadre understanding (X1), administrative procedures (X2), and technology mastery (X3) has an influence on improving reporting efficiency (Y) both simultaneously and partially. The results of testing all variables are accepted because the path coefficients of X1, X2, and X3 against Y are significant. The results of the path determination coefficient are 0.449 or 44,9%.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of visionary leadership on police performance, emphasizing the mediating role of tactical commitment and the moderating effect of public trust within the context of the Tandun Sector Police (Polsek Tandun), Indonesia. Despite the critical role of sub-district police units in maintaining law and order, challenges such as low case resolution rates, personnel demotivation, and limited community trust have hindered optimal performance. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 55 police personnel through total sampling and 55 community members through purposive sampling. Structural analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test direct, indirect, and interaction effects. The results indicate that visionary leadership significantly enhances tactical commitment, which partially mediates its relationship with police performance. Furthermore, public trust strengthens the influence of visionary leadership on operational outcomes, demonstrating its crucial role as a moderating factor. These findings underscore the importance of integrating internal leadership practices with external community engagement to achieve sustainable performance improvements. Theoretically, this research advances policing and public management literature by introducing tactical commitment as a policing-specific construct and positioning public trust as an external legitimizing factor. Practically, the study offers actionable strategies for police leaders to foster tactical readiness, community collaboration, and organizational innovation. Future research is encouraged to explore longitudinal designs, larger samples across multiple regions, and additional variables such as organizational culture and technological adaptation to further enrich the understanding of police performance dynamics.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the development of sago MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in Meranti. This study used qualitative research methods by interviewing a student at the University of Riau (Muhammad Agung Islamy and Bagus Duhan Irfandy) who has a Sago MSME in Meranti Besagood, Mrs. Praptini is the owner of the Sagu Kite MSME, and Mr. Miftahulaid is the secretary of the Meranti Islands Trade and Industry Department. Besagood has established due to the concerns of Besagood founder Muhammad Agung Islamy and Co-Founder, Bagus Duhan Irfandy, about the price of sago which at that time was not competitive on the market. Since 2020, they have started to innovate to produce products that can be more competitive in the market. This year, Besagood launched two new products, namely SeSaMe (Seblak Sago Meranti), MiGuMek (Sago Mie Nyemek) and SaguNasDuk (Sago Nasi Uduk) which are instant products that are available in Pekanbaru shops such as the airport or other souvenir shops. Besagood products received appreciation from the tourism and creative economy ministry when they attended the tourism and creative economy ministry activities in October at Ciputra Mall.

Abstract

Assessment functions as an effective means to enhance learning and education. Assessment practices should align with course objectives and educational purposes. A well-designed assessment must demonstrate four core attributes: relevance, feasibility, validity, and reliability. In the Basic Web Programming course, traditional methods like assignments and exams often fail to capture students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge in real situations. This study aims to identify key assessment needs and develop better evaluation tools through qualitative needs analysis with 61 first-year Informatics Engineering students via surveys and interviews. The research included four phases: needs identification, instrument development, classroom implementation, and results evaluation. Survey data revealed that 95.7% of students (44 out of 46 respondents) expressed high satisfaction levels (rating 8-10) with course quality, indicating that practical assignments and programming projects significantly enhanced their learning experience. Based on these findings, we designed a new assessment model comprising four components: practical assignments, programming projects, practical exams, and student work exhibitions. The exhibition received 91.3% positive feedback from students, while guest evaluations showed exceptional results with 97.3% expressing high satisfaction and 78.2% giving maximum ratings. Implementation resulted in improved student performance, higher participation rates, and increased motivation. The new tools also supported creativity and teamwork essential in programming education. This study provides valuable insights for educators seeking to enhance learning outcomes through practical assessment strategies meeting students' needs.

Abstract

The strategy of planning and evaluating social media content for disseminating Chinese culture aims to enhance public understanding and appreciation of Chinese cultural heritage in Indonesia. In today's digital era, social media serves as a powerful tool to communicate cultural values and reach a wide audience effectively. This study focuses on designing a structured content strategy that includes planning, creating, and distributing cultural content tailored to audience preferences. It also emphasizes the importance of continuous evaluation through analytics provided by social media platforms to measure engagement, reach, and user interaction. The research employs a qualitative approach involving observation, content analysis, and engagement metrics to identify what types of content resonate most with users. By analyzing trends, audience demographics, and feedback, the study reveals that creative and contextually relevant content—such as visual storytelling, interactive posts, and culturally themed campaigns—significantly improves user engagement. The findings highlight that incorporating elements such as localization, cultural narratives, and user-generated content contributes to a more meaningful connection between the audience and Chinese cultural heritage. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that strategic use of social media not only increases visibility but also fosters cultural appreciation among diverse communities in Indonesia. The implications of this research can be applied to broader digital cultural promotion efforts, offering practical guidance for institutions, cultural organizations, and educators seeking to communicate heritage through modern platforms. Ultimately, this study provides a model for using digital media strategically to support cross-cultural understanding and the sustainable promotion of cultural identity.
