Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integrity of church servant leadership and its influence on the faith growth of the congregation at GMIM Moria Darunu by using leadership theory from Peter G. Northouse. This study uses a qualitative research method to understand the phenomenon of church leadership in depth based on the experiences and views of the congregation as well as special ministers. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, field observations, and literature studies by reading books and articles related to Christian leadership. The results of the study show that leadership integrity has a very significant influence on the growth of the congregation's faith. Inconsistencies between the teachings and behavior of church ministers create a crisis of trust among the congregation and hinder faith growth, whereas leadership that is of integrity, serves, and sets an example can build trust and encourage the spiritual growth of the congregation.

Abstract

This journal examines integral ecology in the context of Christian theology, focusing on an in-depth analysis of the doctrine of creation and the concept of human wholeness. Based on the interpretation of the Book of Genesis, humans are positioned not as dominant rulers, but as managers and stewards of God's creation, emphasizing moral responsibility for environmental preservation. The concept of human wholeness, which encompasses physical, psychological and spiritual dimensions, shows the intrinsic link between human well-being and ecosystem health. The global ecological crisis, characterized by exploitation of natural resources, climate change, and environmental injustice, demands theological reinterpretation and concrete action. This journal examines the implications of integral ecology for Christian theology, including reconciliation between humans and nature, lifestyle change, and the promotion of environmental justice. This research contributes to building a comprehensive Christian environmental ethic, integrating spirituality, social action, and commitment to sustainability.

Abstract

Issues ranging from post-pandemic trauma to escalating global violence have triggered a spiritual silence and a theological crisis regarding the existence of God. This article aims to formulate a grounded theology of hope through a trauma-hermeneutic reading of Lamentations 3. Employing a qualitative-interpretative method that analyzes poetic structure and transitions, the research reveals that the triple alphabetic acrostic structure of Lamentations 3 is not merely a literary device but an instrument of cognitive containment that organizes the chaos of traumatic experience. The study’s novelty lies in positioning verses 21–22 as a *locus theologicus*, where wounds are understood not as the absence of God, but as a revelatory space for divine *hesed* (steadfast love) at work "between" destruction and restoration. Ultimately, Lamentations 3 offers a model of hope that is not naive—a hope born from the depths of the ashes of suffering. This study contributes significantly to the church's pastoral praxis in accompanying grieving communities by validating narratives of woundedness as an integral part of the journey of faith.
