Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) serve as the backbone of Indonesia’s economy, contributing significantly to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment absorption. However, MSMEs continue to face major challenges, such as limited access to capital, technology, markets, and a low adaptive capacity in responding to the dynamic business environment. In this context, social entrepreneurship and adaptive leadership emerge as innovative approaches with great potential to enhance the resilience and inclusivity of MSMEs. Social entrepreneurship emphasizes the simultaneous creation of social and economic value, while adaptive leadership enables organizations to innovate amid uncertainty. This study aims to comprehensively analyze how the integration of these two approaches can strengthen inclusive MSMEs in Indonesia, using a systematic literature review method of accredited national journals. The findings reveal that their integration generates a strong synergy, promoting financial sustainability alongside social impact, such as empowering vulnerable groups and increasing business resilience. Practically, MSME actors are encouraged to adopt impact-based business models and develop adaptive leadership capacities. Meanwhile, policymakers are advised to formulate support frameworks that foster innovation and inclusion. Theoretically, this research enriches the literature on inclusive entrepreneurship by proposing an integrative model that aligns with the context of developing countries. Further empirical research is recommended to validate the proposed model.

Abstract

Adaptive strategic leadership is crucial in driving innovation, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the creative sector that operate in a dynamic and uncertain business environment. This study aims to analyze the role of adaptive strategic leadership in developing the innovation capacity of creative sector MSMEs in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with a systematic literature study, data was collected from various relevant accredited national journals. The results show that adaptive strategic leadership, characterized by the ability to adapt to change, foster organizational learning, and facilitate rapid decision-making, significantly contributes to improving the innovation capacity of MSMEs. Adaptive leaders are able to identify new opportunities, manage risks, and create an environment conducive to experimentation and creativity. The implications of this study highlight the importance of developing adaptive leadership competencies for creative sector MSME actors to ensure sustainability and competitiveness in the global market. This research provides theoretical contributions by enriching the literature on leadership and innovation in the context of MSMEs, as well as practical implications for leadership training and development programs in the creative MSME sector.

Abstract

This research examines the crucial role of digital storytelling in improving the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the creative economy sector. In an increasingly competitive and digitized business landscape, MSMEs are faced with the challenge of attracting consumer attention and building brand loyalty. Digital storytelling, as a marketing communication strategy that utilizes narratives through various digital platforms, offers an innovative solution to create emotional connections with audiences. This research method uses qualitative approach with a comprehensive literature study of relevant accredited national journals. The analysis shows that digital storytelling enables MSMEs to communicate the unique value of their products or services, build a strong brand identity, and differentiate themselves from competitors. Effective implementation of digital storytelling is proven to increase brand visibility, expand market reach, and ultimately, contribute to improving the competitiveness of creative economy MSMEs in domestic and global markets. The practical implication of this research is the recommendation for MSMEs to integrate digital storytelling as a core component in their marketing strategy, supported by adequate training and mentoring.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of digital financial education interventions in improving the sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the creative economy sector. MSMEs, as pillars of the national economy, often face challenges in financial management and digital technology adaptation. Digital financial education is crucial for equipping MSMEs with the knowledge and skills needed to utilize digital financial instruments, manage risks, and make sound financial decisions. The research method employs a qualitative approach with a comprehensive literature review of accredited national journals. The analysis results indicate that digital financial education interventions significantly contribute to improving MSME financial literacy, financial technology adoption, operational efficiency, and ultimately, business sustainability. Structured and continuous education, tailored to the characteristics of creative economy MSMEs, can drive innovation and competitiveness in the digital era. The practical implications of this research are recommendations for policymakers and related institutions to design inclusive and relevant digital financial education programs to support the growth of creative economy MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the management strategy for tourist villages and (2) determine the factors influencing tourist attraction. Linawan Village has marine tourism potential in the form of beautiful beaches and mangrove areas, but management is not yet optimal. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of informants such as Pokdarwis, village government, MSMEs, the Tourism Office, community leaders, tourists, and youth organizations. The results of the study indicate that (1) management strategies include tourism promotion, partnerships with the private sector, human resource development, mapping tourism potential, and revitalizing the tourism village acceleration team. (2) Factors influencing tourist attraction include accessibility, infrastructure, promotion and information, and price. The main obstacles are limited supporting facilities, suboptimal coordination between stakeholders, and weak digital promotion. The study recommends an integrated and community-based management strategy, utilizing digital media, strengthening partnerships, increasing human resource capacity, and developing new tourist attractions. These results are expected to serve as a reference for the management of Linawan Tourism Village and a reference for the development of sustainable tourism villages in other areas.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the quality of employee services at the Gentuma Raya District Office, North Gorontalo Regency, and (2) identify the obstacles present in the process of improving employee service quality at the Gentuma Raya District Office, North Gorontalo Regency. This study uses a Descriptive Qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants in this study include the Sub-District Head (Camat), the Deputy Sub-District Head (Sekcam), the section responsible forpublic order and peace, and the Village Apparatus. The results of the study indicate that (1) the quality at the Gentuma Raya Sub-District Office is generally quite good, with prompt service from disciplined employees; however, (2) there are still several obstacles in service quality, including a limited number of employees, shortages of facilities such as the public order office (trantib), and other supporting equipment. In addition, inadequate infrastructure and amenities, such as the availability of clean water, chairs, air conditioning (AC), and a leaking ceiling, also hinder the provision of optimal services.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the influence of service quality on community satisfaction in Tutulo Village, Botumoito District, (2) determine the influence of apparatus discipline on community satisfaction in Tutulo Village, Botumoito District, and (3) determine the influence of service quality and apparatus discipline on community satisfaction in Tutulo Village, Botumoito District.The method in this study uses a quantitative approach. The population amounts to 1,534 individuals. A sampling technique was used to select the samples. The sample in the study numbered 156. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation and questionnaires.The research results show that service quality (X1) has a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction (Y). From the testing, the t-test yielded a significance value of 0.005 (<0.05) and a t-value of 2.828 (>1.975). (2) Civil Servants' Discipline (X2) also has a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction (Y). The t-test results yielded a significance value of 0.008 (<0.05) and a t-value of 2.709 (>1.975). (3) Simultaneously, service quality and civil servants' discipline have a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction. From the F-test results, a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and an F-count value of 7.349 > F-table 2.06 were obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of understanding of village apparatus regarding their primary duties and functions, as well as to assess their ability to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. This research employs a method that aims to describe and interpret the object in accordance with field reality. The use of the explanatory method seeks to create, systematically and factually, descriptions, illustrations, or depictions of the facts, characteristics, and relationships among the phenomena being investigated. The results are expected to serve as a basis for planning to improve the capabilities of village apparatus to realize more professional, efficient, and flexible village governance in line with development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which community empowerment programs increase the income of low-income families in Bangio Village and to identify the challenges encountered in implementing these programs. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with informants in this study, including the Village Head, BUMDes Director, BUMDes Secretary, and the community. The research results show that 1. community empowerment programs have great potential to significantly increase the incomes of low-income families, mainly when supported by strong integration among various social and economic interventions and by continuous government and local community support. This integration includes cross-sector collaboration to ensure that social assistance, skills training, and access to financial and social services are synchronized and appropriately targeted to the needs of the village community. 2. The main challenges in implementing community empowerment programs in Bangio village include several key aspects—first, the limitation of human resources. Many residents still rely on external parties due to a lack of skills in project management and technology use, which risks the program not operating optimally and becoming unsustainable.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the Main Duties and Functions of the Head of Administration of the South Suwawa Health Center. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and a descriptive type of research. The type of research that can be used is qualitative, for the data sources that can be used are primary and secondary data. Of the 3 informants who have been interviewed, namely the Head of Administration of the Health Center, the Staff of the Health Center, and one of the people around the South Suwawa Health Center. We can find out that where the Main Tasks and Functions carried out by the Head of Administration of the South Suwawa Health Center have been running well, although there are still several obstacles such as lack of manpower, but this does not make the Suwawa Health Center managers give up to carry out services as much as possible.
