Abstract

Ikhwanul muslimin termasuk organisasi Islam yang cukup berpengaruh di dunia Islam. Organisasi ini menginspirasi dan mempengaruhi berbagai gerakan Islam di banyak negara termasuk Indonesia. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui sejarah dan strategi dakwah yang dilakukan oleh Ikhwanul Muslimin. Metode penelitian menggunakan library research melalui buku-buku Ikhwanul Muslimin sebagai sumber data primer, sumber data sekunder dari buku-buku pendukung atau tulisan lain yang terkait dengan Ikhwanul Muslimin. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dakwah Ikhwanul Muslimin terbagi menjadi empat fase. Fase  perintisan (1928-1932) yang ditandai pendirian madrasah, sekolah ma’had, penerbitan majalah serta panti asuhan. Fase pembinaan dan pengembangan (1932-1939) dengan melalui dakwah berupa kajiankajian di masjid dan menerbitkan surat kabar. Fase pembinaan dan perjuangan (19391952) dengan menerbitkan majalah al-Ikhwan al-Muslimin, membuat sistem usrah dan nizham khos. Fase revolusi (1952-1954) dimana dakwahnya ditandai pendirian sekolah Jumat dan  berkembangnya aktifitas Jawwalah.

Abstract

This article examines the model for mainstreaming religious moderation for the millennial generation that is vulnerable to the movement for religious exclusivity. The religious spirit of the millennial generation has been coloured by extreme legal-formal thoughts and views that have implications for the existential destruction of religious moderation values and the growth of intolerance. This article focuses on studying Gerakan Siswa Moderat (GSM)/ the Moderate Student Movement initiated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Lumajang Regency to create religious moderation activators among madrasah students. Retrieval of field data used a qualitative model. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques and presented in descriptive writing to describe the phenomena, situations and conditions that took place during the launch of the GSM program. The research results show that although madrasah students are vulnerable to exposure to radicalism and tolerance due to natural factors that are part of the digital age, those who are members of GSM become agents as well as ambassadors for driving religious moderation in three actions at once, i.e. linking past and present religious awareness, being an adhesive for collective religious identity, and being a communicator of narratives and religious messages that are intact, tolerant and peaceful. The strengthening was conducted through a moderation school program and interfaith dialogue.

Abstract

The groups of penghayat kepercayaan have developed in many regions in Indonesia. However, the service discrimination still often occurs in the community. This study intended to find out the description of state service to the group of penghayat kepercayaan in obtaining their civil rights. The study used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. The theory used was the theory of discrimination and service to see the social phenomena that exist in society. The findings showed that services to the Group of pengahayat kepercayaan, in general, were not optimal, especially on funeral services, population services, and religious education services. The cases of rejection on funerals for believers of pengahayat kepercayaan by the community, and the obligation to include religion on ID card even though they only adhered to the beliefs of penghayat kepercayaan, and did not accept the marriage of believers by the government. Likewise, the obligation of students to take religious subject is a problem for students who adhere to the beliefs. For believer groups of pengahayat kepercayaan who still embrace religious, they do not have a problem because they still recognize and practice their religious teachings. On the contrary, those who belong to the “pure” Believers are heavy because they consider it is a religion, such as Sapta Darma. Although in their daily lives, they still practice the procedures in the pengahayat kepercayaan, the policy of religious education services for a child who adhere the beliefs must follow the religious education determined by the school.

Abstract

The destruction of Sanggar Candi Busono (Sapta Dharma) in Rembang, Central Java in 2015 has shown a disharmony relationship between the adherents of Sapta Darma and those who refused it. This article describes the results of conflict analysis through the elements of conflict and chronological analysis of the vandalism of Sanggar Candi Busono (Sapta Dharma) in Blandok, Plawangan Village, Kragan Rembang. This study uses descriptive analysis method of qualitative data collected through interviews, observations, and document review. The findings of this study are that the construction of Sanggar Candi Busono (Sapta Dharma) becomes a trigger for unharmonious relationship between adherents of Sapta Darma and the local residents. Besides there are differences in reference to the regulations by the two parties in which the Sapta Darma referred to the Joint Regulations of Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Culture and Tourism No. 43 of 2009 and No. 41 of 2009. While the religious scholars, community leaders and Blandok pleople rejected on the basis of Joint Regulations of the Minister of Religious Affairs and Minister of Home Affairs No. 9 of 2006 and No. 8 of 2006. The chronological conflict also denoted that the Rembang government has initiated conflict resolution effort by issuing the regulations of the use of Sanggar Candi Busono only for meeting activities but not functioned as a place of worship. It can be also used as a learning center for the followers of Sapta Darma and community in Blandok and surrounding areas.

Abstract

Domestic violence has sometimes happened in the household. Banyumas district  places as the biggest ten in Central Java province having domestic violence in terms of numbers, especially violence against children and women. This study applies a qualitative approach which aims to examine the underpinning factors caused domestic violence and how the religious institution deals with this issue in Banyumas district. Findings of this research portray that one of the causes of most violence against women is low economic level of the family. The majority cases of domestic violence against women are handled by non-religious organization such as non-governmental organization and an institution formed by the local government. Religious organization has limited roles in dealing with domestic violence, for instance a preventive activity through religious teaching and religious dialog.

Abstract

Tik-Tok is a medium that can educate various kinds of worldviews, such as social, political, legal, and religious issues. Through tik-tok content, people get the strengthening of Islamic values and gender in the QS interpretation video. Al-Mujādilah who fought a lot for women's rights, but not all videos circulating on tik-tok were not always true and valid, not even a few were patriarchal biased. This article aims to describe the reception of the interpretation of the Q.S. Al-Mujādilah on tik-tok as an effort to educate and defend women's rights. The research method was carried out with a qualitative approach where data collection was carried out by observing the tik-tok content and documenting the community's response. The results of this study indicate that tik-tok with the FYP algorithm has full power as social criticism to form a contextual religious understanding, conflict resolution, the study of Islamic issues and gender are packaged freshly as a new face that Islam is friendly to rights women.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripkan, menganalisis, dan menyimpulkan model manajemen pendidikan pada SMPIT Nurul Islam Tengaran Kabupaen Semarang. Manajemen pendidikan yang diimplementasikan pada SMPIT Nurul Islam Tengaran dapat dipahami sebagai manajemen modern. Maksudnya manajemen yang diberlakukan bukan lagi sentralistik, kharismatik atau bahkan bukan manajemen one man one show sebagaimana pada kebanyakan lembaga pendidikan swasta agama Islam. Hal itu dapat diketahui dari komponen manajemen (perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, dan pengawasan) yang diterapkan. Selain itu implementasi manajemen sudah di dasarkan melalui proses analisis lingkungan strategis, analisis pendidikan dewasa ini, berpijak pada visi, misi, tujuan sekolah, mempunyai program stategis, terdapat strategi pelaksanaan/pencapaian, dan hasil yang diharapkan.Pelaksanaan pendidikan boarding school (ma’had) pada SMPIT Nurul Islam adalah dalam rangka membekali para santri/peserta didik dengan kultur kepesantrenan, yaitu pendalaman ilmu agama, mondok, kepatuhan (ta’at), keteladanan, kesalehan, kemandirian, kedisiplinan, kesederhanaan, toleransi (tasamuh), rendah hati, ketabahan, dan kesetiakawanan.

Abstract

Academic stress is a condition in the form of physical, mental or emotional disorders caused by an incompatibility between the demands of environment and the actual resources of students so that they are increasingly burdened with various pressures and demands at school. The main objective of this study is to obtain empirical evidence on educator’s soft skills and student’s self-efficacy which led to student’s academic stress at State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) Tengaran of Semarang Regency. Population and sample of this study are XII grade student. The research sample of 125 respondents is determined by using quota random sampling. Data analysis technique uses regression analysis with the SPSS program (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 21.0. Based on the research data processing, the results of the study are as follows (1) educators’ soft skills have a significant effect on the students’ academic stress of 42,1% (2) self-efficacy has a significant effect on students’ academic stress of 49,5%. (3) educators’ soft skills and self-efficacy have a significant effect on students’ academic stress of 56,7%. While suggestion is (1) educators should continue to improve communication and social interaction with students so that they can carry out their activities happily without any coercion (2) educators must be more proactive in motivating students and building students’ confidence so they can rise in overcome their learning problems.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism determines the quality of madrasas. Professional teachers are seen in the implementation of tasks characterized by good expertise in the material and methods in increasing student competence. Professional teachers will ensure the teaching and learning process and quality learning outcomes at madrasah. Teacher professionalism is influenced by many factors, including managerial leadership and work culture. This study aims to describe the influence of principal managerial skills and work culture in the school environment on the professionalism of private Madrasah Aliyah teachers in Semarang Regency. Research with a quantitative approach was conducted in the Semarang Regency area. The study population was teachers in 7 (seven) Private Madrasah Aliyah totaling 134 teachers and a sample of 100 respondents who were determined using a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire. Correlation and regression tests used SPSS version 21 for Windows. The results of the study (1) there is an effect of managerial skills of madrasah principals on teacher professionalism by 20.8%, (2) there is an effect of work culture on teacher professionalism by 29.5% (3) there is an effect of managerial skills of madrasah principals and work culture on teacher professionalism Private Madrasah Aliyah Semarang Regency at 36.1%.

Abstract

Buka Luwur is one the traditions practiced in Kudus Central Java. This ceremony plays as a media for disseminating religious and social values to society. The Aims of this research are to study Buka Luwur ritual as a media of disseminating religious and cultural values, and to know its functions and factors that create the tradition. This research uses sociological approach. Data was collected using interviews and interpretive analysis. There are four aspects found from this study as follows; Firstly, Buka Luwur is a religious ceremony for commemorating the death of Sunan Kudus and as a form of pilgrimage. Secondly, this tradition contains good values that need to be institutionalized and transmitted to next generations. Thirdly, Muslims’ understanding on Qur’an is interrelated with their local culture and the influence from outside Islam. Fourthly, the harmony in society will work well on condition that it is supported by living tradition. The tradition of Buka Luwur plays as an element to unify groups in society, and it can be element for social cohesion, to solidify the believe in supernatural power, to protect balance and harmony of society from time to time
