Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of sponsorship activities in the pre-implementation stage of The Indo EBTKE Conex 2018 and to find out the obstacles and solutions made. The type of research used is qualitative with the method of data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of the study concluded that at the pre-stage stage consisted of several personal selling techniques to get sponsors. When offering a sponsor package, Organizer must look at the financial condition of the prospective sponsor's company so that the company can still participate.

Abstract

Banqueting is a large meal or feast. On the other hand, banquet have a service on a feast that already planned before complete with main courses and deserts, room and needed equipment. In venues such as Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) banquet work is necessary. Banquet have many tasks to do until it become three division, FB banquet, FB service and FB kitchen. Writer will bring G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governor’s (G-20 FM & CBG) Working Dinner one of VIP meeting of Annual Meetings 2018 International Monetary Fund – World Bank Group (IMF-WBG) that handled by banquet operation, which is FB banquet and FB service. The meeting are held on October 11th, 2018 ini Singaraja 2, lantai 2, BNDCC 1, Nusa Dua, Bali. By this time, writer use observation and documentation analysis. This research will be given to the company and Politeknik Negeri Jakarta as graduation requirement in 7th semester, MICE study program, trade administration department.

Abstract

Trade Expo Indonesia is a B2B international trade exhibition (Business to business) designed to increase the growth of export and export markets. The 2018 Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) exhibition is an exhibition held by the Directorate General for National Export Development (DGNED) - Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. Organized by PT. Debindomulti Adhiswasti on October 23-28 2018 at ICE BSD Tangerang, this exhibition was the 33rd international trade exhibition. This exhibition displays various products from Indonesia. Over the past few years, Indonesia has achieved positive growth trends in various products and globally, which must be and more important, because Indonesia is also competing with other countries in global opportunities. To continue to improve export performance, the government has been proactively inviting and investors for direct agreements with export product and service providers of the Indonesia Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI). Along with the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2018 exhibition, Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2018 also presents parallel activities named TTI (trade, tourism, investment) Forum which is a forum for exporters, prospective exporters, investors, potential investors, business world and government officials meet and learn information and solutions about issues in discussions and opportunities from various parties involved from the related sector. There is a TTI Forum several things that must be done during the planning period of the TTI Forum implementation. The research was conducted with the results of interviews, and was active with live programs, both in planning, implementation and post event.

Abstract

Some activities including MICE are accommodation. As lodging, in addition to being used by visitors for resting at night, some accommodations can provide a meeting room or for other events that can add value to a destination. In Bogor Regency itself, visitors who have tried to hold MICE activities have a different view of the venues that are suitable for holding MICE activities. The results of the research using quantitative methods, explained that although there were differences in choosing venues, they agreed that Bogor Regency would be an ideal destination for organizing MICE activities. Because, each region has a unique and distinctive venue characteristics. Another reason for compatibility of destinations in Bogor Regency is the tourist attraction based on leisure. So that visitors can enjoy a short vacation time on the sidelines of the main agenda. No wonder when every district has more than one tourist destination.

Abstract

Digitalization in the use of information and communication technology is growing in all countries including Indonesia, through programs launched by Kominfo. To keep abreast of developments in technology and information, human resources are needed. So, an EduTech Startup emerged which has the goal of empowering the workforce in Indonesia through digital learning, certification and skills upgrading programs so they are ready for a career. MyEduSolve startup where the writer carried out the Field Work Practice for 6 months. Advertising through social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Youtube has a big impact. It can reach a wider target quickly. It can be utilized in the promotion process so that it is right on target. MyEduSolve promotion strategy in the Microsoft Office Specialist & Adobe Certified Professional National Championship Event 2021 focuses on the use of technology. This study aims to present the event planning process, strategies for promoting events, as well as the implementation of digital advertising implemented by MyEduSolve. The method used in this research is through interviews, observation, and documentation. Obtained in planning an event has 4 stages, namely the preparation of the event framework, the stage of analyzing target participants, the stage of determining the event timeline, and the stage of publishing the event with promotion using advertising. MyEdusolve uses a promotional strategy by placing digital advertisements and direct marketing by implementing advertising objectives, namely informing, persuading, and adding value so that the message to be conveyed is eyed by the target audience.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, event organizing activities in Indonesia switched from the concept of being online (virtual). The virtual event activities that were rife at that time were online seminars or webinars with different themes and speakers. In December 2021, Seemore Event Organizer in collaboration with a psychology consulting company called Arsanara has also successfully held a webinar event with the theme of toxic productivity in the world of work entitled "Work, Work, Types!" presenting participants of more than 50 people. Even though the implementation of this activity is virtual, it does not avoid the possibility of risks, especially in the scope of program activities and event operations. Seeing this, the researcher who serves as the coordinator of the program division uses the decision tree analysis model as a reference in making decisions to minimize the impact of risks that might occur in the event. From the research conducted, there are 5 types of risks from the program and operational fields which can be detailed with a decision tree model to choose 2 alternative decisions that can be made as prevention or mitigation of a risk. In its application, alternatives are needed (what can be done), costs (price to be paid), and benefits (the impact of each alternative chosen). The decision tree analysis model can help to analyze the factors and impacts resulting from each alternative decision on a risk that can be taken by policy makers with the aim of avoiding or minimizing the impact of risks that will occur.

Abstract

Decision-making by golf tourists in determining Bandung and its surroundings as a golf tourism destination is influenced by push factors that are intrinsic motivators. This article is a study to find out more about motivation of golfer in choosing Bandung and its surroundings as a golf tourism destination which is the area of research study, namely Dago Heritage 1917 Golf Course, Mountain View Golf Club, and Bandung Giri Gahana Golf & Resort. This verification research with descriptive-correlational method is done by using concurrent mix approach. Data analysis was performed using Statistics Package for Social Science (SPSS, Ver.23). Exploratory factor analysis is used to determine the level of correlation or relationship between variables within a factor in attribute motivation. Principal component analysis is used to determine the factor-forming variables in attribute motivation. Confirmatory factor analysis is used to confirm the results of this research analysis with previous research results which is a reference in this study. The principal component analysis yields 4 factors in motivation attributes, namely Relaxation and Togetherness, Destination Prestige, Benefits, and Business Opportunities. Previous research instruments are used in this study but the results of research in a study site cannot be generalized with other study sites.

Abstract

This study intends to determine an Indonesian speech recognition system that is used to transcribe speeches/meetings automatically. This I-perisalah application has the feature of converting someone's speech into writing so it is easy to know when, and what to talk online. At the time of Sidang Tahunan MPR RI, the minutes must be made after each session or meeting and then the results of the minutes will be given to each bureau. This tool can facilitate the reporter when making minutes of a meeting or conference. In this study the method used is a qualitative research method. While the type of research is descriptive, which means that research is conducted to find out and be able to explain the characteristics of the variables under study in a situation. Data collection techniques carried out with primary data and secondary data, where data is obtained directly from the object of research through interviews. While secondary data is obtained from library studies and online searches through the world wide web. The results of this study indicate that the process of making the minutes will be effective and efficient by using the i-perisalah application during the Sidang Tahunan MPR RI in 2018.

Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic that hit Indonesia at the end of 2020 caused economic paralysis. One of the affected industries is the MICE Tourism industry, MICE stakehoders are starting to look for ways to survive. One way to survive is to do activities online or virtually. Therefore, PT. Maximaindo also began to switch from event contractors to organizing virtual events by holding Indonesia & Taiwan Online Business Day regarding manufacturing machines and plastics which was held on December 7-9, 2021. This research was conducted to find out the preparation and implementation process of the Online Business Matching held between Taiwan and Indonesia, and also to find out the obstacles that existed during the event. In this study, the authors used qualitative methods with data collection through observation, interviews, library methods, and documentation. The findings obtained are in the preparation process, it is necessary to collect a filtered database and make a registration form, then contact prospective buyers and suppliers. The last stage is to compile a meeting schedule and ask for confirmation from both parties. For implementation, what needs to be prepared is a laptop, wifi, and Zoom background. The event opened with remarks and then buyers and suppliers will enter the waiting room and the operator will move buyers and suppliers according to the schedule and predetermined room. There are obstacles during preparation and implementation, one of which is network or device constraints, and problem when contacting buyers.

Abstract

The development of technology turns out to have a very big influence in the world of advertising. This condition can be seen from the shift of traditional advertising towards digital. One of the companies that has used digital advertising is Toffee Events which is a company in the field of digital marketing and also engaged in event management and training. Toffee Events as a digital marketing agency was appointed by the PARARA Festival 2021 to be an event organizer who can help in promoting and implementing the Festival Panen Raya Nusantara (PARARA) 2021. The purpose of this study is to find out the advertising promotion carried out by Toffee Events in the PARARA Festival 2021. This research was conducted using qualitative analysis methods from observational data, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that the use of digital advertising media that was carried out managed to attract as many as 4006 participants, when compared to the 2019 PARARA Festival which used conventional advertising media and could only attract less than 1000 participants. This promotion process successfully implements the purpose of advertising, namely providing information and adding value well so that the number of participants who register can increase significantly.
