Jurnal Bisnis Event menerbitkan edisi pertamanya: Vol. 1, No. 1, 2020 pada bulan Februari dan jurnal menerbitkan artikelnya dalam bahasa Indonesia. Proses review dalam jurnal ini menggunakan double-blind peer-review, yang berarti identitas reviewer dan penulis dirahasiakan dari reviewer, dan sebaliknya.

Abstract

An employee gathering, known as one of the effective methods in human resource management, can strengthen relationships among employees, boost motivation, and celebrate shared achievements. This study focuses on the Employee Gathering at Soekarno-Hatta Airport as a form of appreciation for the Main Branch Office employees at Soekarno-Hatta Airport for their achievements in 2022, as well as a tool to enhance performance. This research explores the crucial role of organizers in managing employee gathering activities to achieve desired goals. The research methodology involves direct observation of the Employee Gathering activities at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and interviews with relevant parties. The research findings indicate that the role of organizers has a significant impact on the successful implementation of employee gathering activities.

Abstract

Account Executive has an important role as client service or client-side in a company such as an agency. Not only being a liaison between the agency and client, Account Executive must be able to represent their company, and have certain skills. The purpose of this research is to know the criteria and roles of Account Executive, as well as ways to overcome obstacles to clients. This research uses qualitative methods by conducting observations, interview, and direct practice. The results of research using this method is that the author understands the criteria of a good Account Executive, the roles, and the constraints and solutions faced by Account Executive in dealing with clients and being a company representative. Abstract

The management of Instagram social media is very important at this moment because through proper management, it can create a good and attractive company image. The need for innovation and creativity in managing social media is very high so that the public can easily access or find out about the company or a particular event. This writing aims to know and study the process of managing Instagram social media for an event. Using a qualitative descriptive research method, namely by collecting data results obtained during the Field Work Practice at PT Energi Kreatif Dinamika. The results of the study showed that the management of Instagram social media goes through 3 stages such as Editorial Plan, Content Plan, and Content Approval.

Abstract

The tourism sector is a sector that has the potential to be developed as a source of regional income. As one of the sources of income, tourism is influenced by the number of tourists. The progress of the tourism sector in an area is highly dependent on the number of tourists who visit. The number of tourists will bring income to the area they visit. This study aims to determine the influence of the number of domestic tourist visits on the original income of Bogor City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis method. The result of the study is that the number of domestic tourist visits has a significant positive influence on the PAD of Bogor City. The number of domestic tourist visits has a significant influence of 87% on the PAD of Bogor City. One of the government effort is to expand tourism activities such as entertainment, sports, camps, and competitions to increase the number of tourist visits so that it will increase the PAD of Bogor City.

Abstract

A culinary festival is an event that presents various types of food and drinks from various sellers, from street vendors to restaurants in one place over a certain period of time. Research on this culinary festival focuses on understanding the flow of booth sales in an effort to achieve booth targets at the Picnic Festival event and identifying the work system of tenants at the Picnic Festival event. To achieve a comprehensive understanding regarding sales flow and tenant work systems, research was carried out using interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this research show that at the Picnic Festival event, the booth sales flow in an effort to achieve the target begins with the approaching stage, filling in the form, and admin payment. Meanwhile, the tenant work system during the Picnic Festival event uses a revenue sharing system and ordering sponsored products.

Abstract

The process of choosing a major plays a very important role in shaping the career and academic development of prospective students. Geographical factors and limited physical access can be an obstacle for prospective students outside the region to attend events held in person. In the digital era, technology and education have become a major unity as a tool of the present through the use of digital platforms. The talk show titled "Piljurian Talk #2" by Student Ambassadors of Select Majors aims to provide information about lectures in general, provide opportunities for prospective students to interact directly with speakers and experienced students, and create a more personal and in-depth experience. During the session, analysis and observation from the preparation stage to the evaluation stage showed an understanding of the production and logistics functions in the Piljurian Talk #2 virtual event management process. In the preparation, organizing, implementing, and controlling stages, the production and logistics of Piljurian Talk #2 were carried out in accordance with the plan that had been prepared.

Abstract

The event organizer services industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth, driven by increasing client interest in event management. Event administration is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation and success of events. Event Account Executives play a pivotal role as liaisons between the company and clients or sponsors, responsible for collecting partnership data, preparing reports, and conducting final event evaluations. Post-pandemic, the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) industry has shown significant growth, with special events being integral to MICE activities. This study poses several key questions regarding preparation, implementation, challenges, and solutions faced by Event Account Executives in managing event administration at Setrise Culture. Data collection methods include fieldwork, browsing, insights from authorities, observations, and relevant documents. Data is analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach to depict facts, situations, and perspectives relevant to the role of Event Account Executives. The purpose of this report is to deepen understanding of the pivotal role played by Event Account Executives in the event organizer industry, offering insights for practitioners and researchers. This study aims to enhance knowledge for the author, contribute to academic understanding, and provide practical guidance for companies seeking to optimize the role of Event Account Executives to achieve internal goals and client satisfaction.Top of Form Keyword: special event, account executive, MICE, event organizer.

Abstract

The study examines the role of social media in event marketing at the Botani Square Mall, focusing on mutual engagement between social media use and event management. In today’s digital age, social media has become a vital medium for increasing consumer participation and engagement. The study evaluated the effectiveness of marketing strategies implemented by Botani Square Mall in promoting events organized through social media to their impact on the event organized. Maintenance of an event requires social media to be able to market the event and eventually attract a lot of participants or visitors. This is one of the main targets or goals of the event. At the same time, the social media used can also be affected by insights arising from the upload of social media content related to the event so that engagement is increased. The findings underline the importance of sustained interaction on social media to increase engagement and success in event marketing.

Abstract

Roadshow Event “Nonton Bareng Film Petualangan Sherina 2," organized by PT Kreasi Karya Bangsa (United Creative) for PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Tbk., integrates brand activation, enhances brand awareness, and demonstrates effective corporate event and roadshow event management. This initiative revives the nostalgic impact of the iconic film "Petualangan Sherina" on Indonesian childhoods, offering consumers, Indofood employees, and various local film and arts communities in Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya the opportunity to experience "Petualangan Sherina 2" with Indofood. The event includes pre-event activities such as Instagram giveaways by Indofood, Indomilk Susu Steril, and Chiki Twist, promoting brand awareness and introducing Indofood's new products. Additionally, it features meet & greet sessions with the cast, interactive games with e-wallet prizes, and engaging mascots, enhancing participant engagement and satisfaction. Abstract

This research explains the use of SketchUp application for effective layout design based on a case studyof the ASPEKSINDO Maritime Festival 2023. This research explores the potential for using one layouttechnology, the SketchUp application. This research use a case study as a method. In the process, theresearchers found several obstacles that hampered the layout design process. Based on these findings,the researchers was able to overcome these obstacles so that the layout process could be completed. Itcan be concluded that the SketchUp application can be used effectively in designing 2D and 3D layoutswith fairly high accuracy. Hope this research can contribute to the development of event technology,and increasing efficiency, such as maximizing space in a venue.
