Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Human Development Index (IPM), and Population on the poverty level in East Java from 2017 to 2020.”This research applies two analytical techniques, namely descriptive analysis and regression panel data. Descriptive analysis techniques are applied to describe data in detail through the use of graphs or tables. On the other hand, panel data regression analysis provides an explanation of the relationship between units and time, and is a combination of data from various groups and certain time periods.“The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics.”The“data consists of cross-sectional data covering 38 Regencies/Cities in East Java Province, as well as time-series data covering the period 2017-2020.”In conclusion, from the analysis performed, the most optimal regression model is“the Random Effect Model (REM) or Generalized Least Square”(GLS), by calculating individual effects and time effects. The research results obtained are“GRDP and HDI have a significant negative effect on the poverty level,”then there is a positive“significant effect between population size and poverty level.” Overall, GRDP, HDI, and Population simultaneously influence fluctuations in the poverty rate by 60.90%.

Abstract

Social media engagement is important in building brand equity as a determinant of brand reputation that can be driven through self-congruity and celebrity attachment. However, there has been no research examining the relationship between self-congruity and celebrity attachment and their influence on consumer engagement in the context of VTuber personal brands as a new phenomenon that is popular internationally. This study uses a mixed-methods approach by conducting qualitative research with qualitative text analysis techniques to determine the expressions of self-congruity and celebrity attachment that emerge through viewer comments on YouTube and questionnaires. Quantitative research is conducted using PLS-SEM analysis of questionnaire responses to determine the influence of self-congruity and celebrity attachment on consumer engagement among VTuber viewers in Indonesia on YouTube content. Qualitative research found various forms of self-congruity dominated by cultural similarities between VTubers and viewers rather than personal character similarities between them. Quantitative research confirms this by finding that only social self-congruity has a positive influence on consumer engagement. Additionally, qualitative research found various forms of celebrity attachment from VTuber viewers that confirm celebrity attachment as part of brand equity. Quantitative research also found that celebrity attachment has a positive influence on consumer engagement.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs play a significant role in a country's development, particularly in its economic growth. Recognizing the importance of entrepreneurship, many countries, including Indonesia, have integrated entrepreneurial education into their school curriculum to equip students with fundamental entrepreneurial skills and knowledge. This implementation aims to foster students' entrepreneurial intention upon graduation. This study aims to investigate the impact of entrepreneurial education on students' entrepreneurial intention. To achieve this goal, we employ two theoretical frameworks: The Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) and The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Both theories emphasize the role of self-efficacy as a key determinant of individual intention towards behavior. Additionally, TPB highlights the significance of perceived behavioral control in shaping individual intention. By utilizing Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis, we examine our proposed conceptual framework, which explores the relationship between entrepreneurial education and students' entrepreneurial intention. Our findings indicate that self-efficacy plays a crucial role in mediating the link between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intention. However, we were unable to provide sufficient evidence to support the significant impact of perceived behavioral control on improving students' entrepreneurial intention. The results of this study hold both theoretical and practical implications, which will be thoroughly discussed.

Abstract

The theory of consumer experience has long been invented by schoolars, even starting in the 1990s. The disclosure of this theory began in the 1990s in a traditional and conventional business context. Businesses are still faced with purchases and consumers on the sidelines, face-to-face meetings, and direct interaction, and the consumer can still see and try the product in person. The development of business in the Internet era has brought about a variety of technologies and digital media, one of which is the online store. The conditions of online business are very different from those of conventional and traditional business. Consumers cannot interact directly and face-to-face; they cannot see and try the product directly. Then, what about the purchasing experience experienced and felt by today's consumers? This research looks at every element of the customer experience at every stage of consumer purchasing decisions. Research is qualitative research with the method of group discussion focused on questions that have been structured. The study involved 10 sources selected according to certain criteria, one of which was the age range of the millennial generation. The findings reveal new elements in consumer experience in the digital age by referring to consumer experiences presented in the 1990s.
