Abstract

The Purpose of this research was to estabiish the effect of Discovery Learning toward students’ achievement in the operation mixed count at the fourth of Elementary School. The method of this researah was Quasi Experiment by Non Equivalent control group design. The sample in this research was the students’ at the fourth grade of SDN 11 Pudung and the students’ at the fourth grade of SDN 18 Pudung. The instrumentation was used the test. Hypothesis testing in this research was used the formula of t-tes and N-Gain. Based on the resuit of this research was shown that the mean class of Discovery Learning were 80 and control class were 78. Based on the calculated of t-test were 2,40146109 was highere that t-tabel were 1,86385. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the learning plan, the implementation of learning and student learning outcomes by using the Cooperative Type STAD model in class V SD. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were 22 class V teachers and students. The research was carried out in two cycles. Research procedures include planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of the study from cycle 1 to cycle 2. (a) Learning planning cycle 1 is 89.28% increased to 96.42% in cycle 2. (b) Implementation of learning from the aspect of teacher cycle 1 with an average of 92.22% increased to 97.22%. In cycle 2, from the aspect of students in cycle 1 with an average of 86.94% increased to 97.22% in cycle 2. (c) Learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle 1 obtained an average grade of 75.89 increased to 80 05 in cycle 2. Thus the Cooperative Type STAD model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning in Class V SDN 27 Lubuk Alung.  Kata kunci : Hasil belajar; IPS; Kooperatif Tipe STAD

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in Civics learning with the Social Problem Solving Model in class V 01 SDN VII Koto Talago Guguak Subdistrict. This type of research is Class Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research data from observations, test results and non-tests. Conducted in Semester I Academic Year 2018/2019. The research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and class V students as many as 20 people, namely 7 men and 13 female students. The results of the first cycle of research on lesson plans averaged 67.85% (sufficient), increasing in the second cycle to 89.3 % (well). The implementation of the first cycle on the aspect of the teacher averaged 80.55% (good), increased in the second cycle to 97.22% (very good). The implementation of the first cycle on the aspects of students on average 66.66% (sufficient), increased in the second cycle to 94.44% ( very good). Student learning outcomes in the first cycle averaged 74.30 (enough), increased in the second cycle to 89.17 (good). Can be concluded Model Social Problem Solving shows an increase in student learning outcomes in Civics learning in class V Public Elementary School 01 VII Koto Talago District Guguak. Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the low learning outcomes in social studies learning. This is because the teacher has not applied the right and varied learning model so that students have not been able to solve the problems that arise. Therefore, action was taken using the Cooperative Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes of social studies using the Cooperative Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model.The type used of this study is classroom action research. This study activity consists of stages of learning implementation which includes two cycles consisting of planning stages, implementation, observation and reflection. Data obtained from the subject under study, namely teachers and students. The source of research data is the process of learning social studies using a cooperative model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The subject of the study was teachers and 25 students in fifth grade. consisting of 10 male students and 15 female students. The approach used is a qualitative and quantitative approach. The study data is in the form of information about the process and the results of action data obtained from the results of observations and tests.The study in the first cycle obtained an average observation of lesson plans percentage of 69.64% (B), the average observation results, teacher aspects 83.35% (B), the average observation results, aspects of students 83.35% (B ), and the average student learning outcomes are 72.7 (C). In the second cycle, the observation results of RPP 92.86% (SB) were obtained, the results of the observation of teacher aspects were 95.8% (SB), the results of observations were 95.8% (SB), and the average student learning outcomes 85.23 ( SB). Based on the results of the study concluded that social studies learning using the Cooperative Learning, Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model can improve student learning outcomes.   Keywords: Cooperative Model, Teams Games Tournament, Social Studies Learning

Abstract

The researchisanimed to improve the students learning outcomes by using Quantum Teaching Model in learning the Social Study Subject at4th grade of SD 10 Bandar Buat. Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research wereteachers and 30 students. The result of research was improve a) lesson plan the cycles of I was 78,5% and the cycles II of 89,3% b) implementation theacher’s activity of I cycles was 76,6% and II cycles was 87,5% while implementation student activity of I cycles was 76,6% and II cycles was 87,5% c) the student learning outcomes in the I cycles was 75,3% and II cycles was 85%. It can be concluded that used Quantum Teaching Model can improve students achievement in learning social study of elementary school. Abstract

The research aim to see correlation student’s motivation in learning and learning outcomes in PKn at the fifth grade of Primary School in Cluster II Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam. The type of this research is correlation research. The sample of this research is 98 students at the fifth grade of Primary School in Cluster II Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam. The result of this research shows that there is a correlation between students motivation in learning and learning outcomes in PKn at the fifth grade of Primary School in Cluster II Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam. It is proved by the value  rhitung = 0,785 > rtabel = 0,1986 and significant value 0,000 < 0,005, which means Ha is accepted. So, there is a significant correlation between students motivation in learning with learning outcomes in PKn at the fifth grade of Primary School in Cluster  II Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam”.Keywords: students motivation in learning, learning outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model PBL di kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ialah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 18 orang yang terdiri dari 8 orang laki-laki dan 10 orang perempuan. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan prosedur penelitian yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan dalam segi a) RPP siklus I ialah 76,78% dan siklus II 92,86%, b) Pelaksanaan pada aspek guru siklus I ialah 75% dan siklus II 92,86% sedangkan pelaksanaan pada aspek siswa siklus I ialah 73,22% dan siklus II 92,86%, c) Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I ialah 75,89 dan siklus II 86,82. Abstract

AbstractThis resesrch purpose is to know the effect of using Problem Based Learning model toward study result of social sciences students in the fifth grade of Elementary school in 20 Lubuk Alung. The kind of this research wa quasi experiment type non equivalent control group desaign. To detemine the sample the research used purposive sampling. in this research there werw 40 students as the sample and 156 students as the populations. The result showed that tobtained > ttable (4,060 > 1,72) with α = 0,05 it can be cocluded that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, it means that there was signitificant effect of using PBL model  toward study result of social students in the fifth grade of elementary school in 20 Lubuk Alung. Key Words : PBL, Learning Outcomes, IPS

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to knowing the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach on learning outcomes to determine the area of building a trapezoid and the kite of class V students of SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya in the 2018/2019 academic year.This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of Gugus 2 Elementary School in Koto Tangah District consisting of 250 students. The sampling technique uses probability sampling and cluster random sampling technique by determining which area will be used as a sample with random to determine the experimental and control classes so that the VA class is obtained as the control group and the VB class is the experimental group. Data collection techniques in this study use tests, test hypotheses in this study using the t-test formula which is preceded by an analysis prerequisite test using normality test and homogeneity test.The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach to learning outcomes to determine the area of trapezoid and kite of class V students of SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significant level of 5% (0.05) obtained by tcount (4.10)> t table (1.67). Learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group were higher than the control group, indicated by the posttest mean obtained by the experimental group 87.25 and the posttest mean obtained by the control group by 75.3. Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, determining the area of trapezoid and kite.
