Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning processes with a problem based learning approach in class IV SDN 18 Air Tawar Selatan, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the observation of RPP in cycle 1 obtained an average of 89.76%, and cycle 2 gained an average of 97.72%. Aspects of students in the first cycle with a percentage of 88.38% increased in the second cycle to 96.42%. This proves the scientific approach can improve student learning processes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning outcomes using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative model at 4th grade of elementry school in Pahambatan of Balingka. The research subjects were teachers and 20 students.  Research site in Pahambatan of Balingka. The result showed an increase in : a)RPP cycle I 83,33% (good) and cycle II 94,44% (very good) b)implementation in the aspects of teacher cycle I 81,24% (good) and cycle II 93,75% (very good) whilw implementation of aspectcts of students cycle I 81,24% (good) and cycle II 90,62% c) aseesment of the result of student alignment with the average in cycle I 71,47 and cycle II with an average of 81,24. Based on these results it can be concluded that the numbered heads together (NHT) of cooperative model can improve integrated thematic learning outcomes in students.Keyword: numbered heads together model,learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of discovery learning models on integrated themati c learning outcomes on theme 8 in class V in primary schools. This type of research is experimental research using a quantitative approach. The subject of the research was the Va class students and Vb class students with the number of students 38 students of SDN 23 Ujung Gurun, Padang Barat sub- district. the results showed that there was an influence on the use of the model. when administering an experimental class pretest with an average of 37.3 and a standard deviation of 28.97. while in the control class with an average value of 35 and a standard deviation of 26.73. after being given a posttest from the experimental class an average value of 84 with a standard deviation of 80.94 was obtained. while in the control class an average value of 69.2 was obtained with a standard deviation of 136.58.

Abstract

AbtractThis research was backgrounded by unintegrated learning process applied to students in which a teacher, in this model of integrated thematic learning, had not introduced the students to actual cases happened in their environments. This research was aimed to describe the application of Problem Based Learning model to improve learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning to the students of grade V on SDN 114/III Dusun Baru Siulak Sungai Penuh Kerinci. The type of this research is CAR (Classroom Action Research) with mixed qualitative and quantitative approach. It was found in RPP that cycle I was 79.16% (C) in average, increased to 96.4% (SB) at cycle II. The implementation of learning on teacher aspect cycle I was 82.14% (B) in average and increased to 94.4% (SB) on cycle II. Meanwhile, the student aspect on cycle I was  82.14% (B) and increased to 94.4% (SB) on cycle II. The learning outcomes received on cycle I was 66.6% (D) in average and increased to 92.59% (SB) in average on cycle II

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of students’ achievements used Role Play Method at Grade V SDN 06 Ladang Padi Surian. The subject of this research were teacher and 22 grade V students.The result of lesson plan observation on cycle I was 69.64%, and cycle II was 89.28%. The observation of teacher on cycle I was 73.86%, and cycle II was 86.36%. The observation of students on cycle I was 75.00%, and cycle II was 84.09%. The resut of students’ achievement cycle I was 69.58, and cycle II was 85.35. Therefore, Role Play could improve the students’ achievement at Grade V.Kata Kunci: Hasi Belajar, Metode Bermain Peran

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of comprehension reading skill by using Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 28Air Tawar Timur. Research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers, and fourth graders as many as 27 people consisting of 16 men and 11 women. In the first cycle, I obtained an average score of 60.6, an average reading rate of 75.0, and an average post-reading rate of 74.2. In cycle II the average value of prabaca 78.0, the average value of reading 84.3, and the average value of 85.1 post-reading. Thus reading comprehension with strategy (DRTA) can improve in class IV SD 28 Air Tawar Timur Kota Padang. Keywords: reading comprehension, directed reading thinking activity

Abstract

This research aims at finding out theeffects of the implementation of the‘Numbered Head Together’ model, also known as a Cooperative Learning toward students learning outcomes of the Civics lesson at class V of SDN 15 Padang Sarai. This quasi experiment applied the nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was all grade V students of SDN 15 Padang Sarai. Class VBwas chosen as the experiment class while class VCwas the control class by using the purposive sampling technique. Based on the data analysis using the t-test with the significant level of 0.05, it is found that tcount>ttablewith the score of tcount= 2.149 whilettable=1.67. Thus, the H1 hypotesis is accepted.Keywords: NHT model, learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in learning IPS using Talking Stick learnig model in the fifth grade of elementary school. The type of research used is Class Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Subjects in this study were teachers and fourth grade elementary school students totaling 20 people. The research was carried out in two cycles with planning, implementation, observation and reflection procedures. The results showed that the learning of IPS using Talking Stick learnig model can improve student learning outcomes in SD Negeri 07 Sentosa Padang Gelugur Pasaman District.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning results on thematic Integrated Learning Model using Problem Based Learning in class IV SDN 14 Gadut Kabupaten Agam. This research used a qualitative and quantitative approach. This type of research i.e. Research Action class (PTK). The subject of research is the grade IV SDN 03 Labuah Bukittinggi Feed as many as 16 students. Research conducted two cycles. The design of the research include, (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) and (4) observation of the reflection. The results showed an increase in: a) the RPP cycle I 85.93% Cycle II (B) 93,75% (SB) b) implementation on aspect of teacher cycle I 85.71% (B), a cycle II 96,42% (SB) c) Implementation on aspect students cycle I 85.71% (B) and Cycle II 96,42% (SB) d) student learning outcomes s iklus I 74,5 Cycle (B), II (B) 84,84. Thus the model of Problem Based Learning can improve the learning results of integrated thematic grade IV SDN 14 Gadut Kabupaten Agam.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to description skill enhancement in change poetry into prose form by used somatic, autiotori, visual, and intellectual (SAVI) model to VI grade elementary school. The research type is PTK by used quality and quantity approach. This research was implemented in SDN 35 Padang City with total 20 students which consist of 9 male student and 11 female student. The score of changing poerty into prose in each pre writing phase in cycle I 76,87 (B), increase in cycle II 90,6 (SB), writing phase in cycle I 68,75 (C) increase in cycle II 90,4 (SB), and on post writing phase cycle I 71,2 (C) increase in cycle II 89,6 (SB).  Keywords: Increased, enhancement in change poetry into prose,SAVI model.
