This research type is correlation research by using quantitative approach. there are two data to be processed. First, vocabulary mastery. Second, reading comprehension. The design used in this study is the design korelasinal with a population of all students class III which amounted to 162 people. Sampling method used is Cluster Random Sampling which amounted to 52 people. to test the hypothesis of this study using t test statistic with 5% level of significance (0.05). The result of this research is first, the mastery of vocabulary of learners is in sufficient qualification (66,63). Second, students' reading comprehension ability is in good qualification (75,57). Third, there is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension ability on n-2 degrees of freedom and significance level of 0.05 research results prove that tcount is bigger than ttable that is 11,090> 2,009.Keywords: Relationship vocabulary, reading comprehension, student

Abstract

This research is done done due to the fact that 5th  grade student’s learning outcomes of civics subject were still low. Moreover, the teacher had never applied the STAD model in the classroom. This research aims at finding out yhe effects of applying the model toward the students’ learning outcomes. This quasi experiment used the nonequivalent control group design. The population was all 5th grade students of primary schools. Samples were chosen by using the saturation sampling techique in which VB acted as the experimental class and VA as the control one. The research result shows that bby using t-test with the level of significant of 0,05, tcount > P-Value and tcount = -3.421 and P-Value = 0.001. Thus, the H1 hypothes is accepted.Keyword : the STAD Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research background by the fact the sum of fractions learning teachers still teach the traditional way with the meaning of the word is not linking student learning to real life. Thus resulting in poor learning outcomes and have not reached the Chief Engineer student set is 70. The purpose of this study to describe the form of planning, implementation, and improvement of learning outcomes by using a sum of fractions of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). In this study the authors used qualitative and quantitative approaches. From the data analysis studies concluded that the approach of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in the sum of fractions of learning can improve student learning outcomes. Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the Discovery Learning model in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. This research is motivated because there are still several problems that occur in the implementation of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools, especially the lack of teacher understanding of the implementation of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. The method used in this research uses literature study (library research) through literature review to strengthen the analysis of the various sources used. Literature study in this writing is as a basis for forming an initial writing plan and as a secondary data source for writing, secondary data sources in the form of books, online journals, theses, and dissertations as well as other sources relevant to the application of the Discovery Learning model in learning. thematic integrated in elementary schools. The main sources of this research are reputable articles and journals. The results obtained by the writer from the search will be reviewed and analyzed using the content analysis method. Based on the results of the analysis of 15 journals, and reinforced by several theories, it can be concluded that the use of the Discovery Learning model is effective for application and can improve the implementation of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. It can be seen from the explanation of how the learning planning is designed by the teacher, observations on aspects of the teacher and aspects of students, and the learning outcomes obtained by students.
