Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed the landscape of tourism promotion. Social media has now become a primary platform in shaping tourist perceptions and decision-making. Amid increasing competition among destinations, promotional strategies that rely on creative content and collaboration with influencers are considered more effective in building both visual and emotional appeal toward a tourism site. This study aims to analyze the influence of creative content and influencer marketing on the increase of tourist visits to Palembang City. The research employed a quantitative method with an associative-causal explanatory level. A total of 100 respondents were determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that creative content has a positive and significant effect on increasing tourist visits (t = 4.147; p = 0.000), as does influencer marketing (t = 5.714; p = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on the increase in tourist visits (F = 71.904; p = 0.000). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.597 indicates that 59.7% of the variation in the increase of tourist visits can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 40.3% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings affirm that digital promotion strategies through creative content and influencer marketing significantly contribute to increasing tourist visits to Palembang City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze trends and developments in research on Intellectual Capital (IC) in Indonesia during the 2020–2024 period using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Thirty-five articles from SINTA and Scopus-accredited journals were used as the unit of analysis, classified by main topic, industry sector, methodological approach, and number of citations. The results show that the most frequently studied topic is the influence of IC on firm value, followed by IC coverage (ICD) and financial performance. Most studies use a quantitative approach with secondary data, while qualitative and multidimensional approaches are still very limited. The manufacturing sector dominates the research objects, with low representation of other knowledge-intensive sectors. Furthermore, the use of strategic management theories such as the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Knowledge-Based View (KBV) is not optimal. This study contributes to describing the direction and outlook of IC research in Indonesia and recommends the need for a more exploratory, cross-sectoral, and theoretically sound approach for the development of future IC studies.

Abstract

The interest of accounting students in Indonesia to pursue a career as public accountants remains low, even though the demand for public accountants continues to increase. According to the Center for the Development of Public Accountants and Appraisers (PPAJP), the growth rate of public accountants in Indonesia is still low, at only 4% per year. The Ministry of Finance's Center for Accounting and Appraisal Services (PPAJP) also released data showing that Indonesia still lacks sufficient public accountants. This is due to the low interest of accounting students in becoming public accountants. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-motivation, intellectual intelligence, financial rewards, and labor market considerations on the interest of accounting students at Muhammadiyah University of Riau in choosing a career as public accountants. The method used is quantitative, collecting primary data through Likert-scale questionnaires. A sample of 247 students was selected using simple random sampling based on the Slovin formula. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25 to test the effect of independent variables on student interest. The results show that self-motivation, intellectual intelligence, financial rewards, and labor market considerations simultaneously and partially have a significant influence on students' interest in becoming public accountants. These variables explain 46.3% of the variation in student interest, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors beyond this study. The findings provide important contributions to developing strategies to increase public accountant career interest among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the economic communication strategies employed by the Bima Regency Government in promoting its community economic empowerment program. The primary focus is on how communication approaches are used to convey information, build participation, and encourage economic change among lower-income communities through empowerment programs. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results indicate that the success of the empowerment program is highly dependent on the participatory communication model and local approach used by the local government.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of democratic leadership style on employee performance with organisational commitment as an intervening variable at Bank Muamalat KC Purwokerto Raya. The democratic leadership style is characterised by the involvement of team members in decision making, which is expected to increase employees' sense of ownership and responsibility for the organisation. High organisational commitment is expected to mediate the relationship between leadership style and employee performance. The research method used in this study is an associative research method with a quantitative approach. This research aims to determine the relationship between the various variables studied through numerical measurement and statistical analysis. The research subjects involved all employees of Bank Muamalat KC Purwokerto Raya with a total of 34 respondents using saturated sampling technique. Data was collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire distributed via google form which was then processed using the SmartPLS version 4.0 application. Data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (PLS) through outer model evaluation, inner model, and hypothesis testing. The results concluded that organisational commitment has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, democratic leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, democratic leadership style has a positive and significant effect on organisational commitment, democratic leadership style has no direct effect on employee performance with the mediation of organisational commitment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training and human resource development on the productivity of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) assisted by Dindagkop and UKM Pekalongan City. Training and education is an activity carried out with the aim of improving and improving the quality of employees, which is carried out through increasing aspects of knowledge (knowledge) and operational skills (skills) in carrying out a job This research is quantitative research with data collection techniques using questionnaires, with the research subjects being 30 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) assisted by Dindagkop and UKM Pekalongan City who participated in HR training and development programmes. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS version 23 programme. The results of this study indicate that the Training Variable has a positive and significant effect on the MSME Productivity variable. Training variables have a positive and significant effect on MSME productivity variables. Training and HR Development variables simultaneously have a positive effect on the productivity of fostered MSMEs at Dindagkop and UKM Pekalongan City. Based on the recapitulation of questionnaire data, the indicator that obtained the largest average value was the frequency of old customers coming back and the indicator with the lowest average value was the increase in the number of customers. In addition, the results of the influence test of the Training (X1) and HR Development (X2) variables simultaneously affect MSME Productivity (Y) by 33.5%.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes to corporate recruitment strategies, including the utilization of social media recruiting and online employer reviews as tools to attract potential candidates. This phenomenon has influenced the way job seekers, particularly younger generations, make decisions about applying for jobs. This study aims to examine the impact of social media recruiting and online employer reviews on job application decisions at Bank Sumsel Babel Tanjung Raja. A quantitative approach with an associative-causal design was employed. The study involved a population of 65 respondents, all of whom were included using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The data analysis included tests of validity and reliability, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity), multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that social media recruiting has a positive impact on job application decisions, with a t-value of 4.995 (p = 0.000), while online employer reviews also demonstrate a positive impact with a t-value of 4.182 (p = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables exert a significant effect on job application decisions, as evidenced by an F-value of 57.259 (p = 0.000). These findings highlight that the strategic optimization of social media recruiting, and the management of online employer reviews can have a substantial impact on individuals’ decisions to apply for a job.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of JIT purchasing policies in raw material management at CV. Inti Rotindo. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of JIT purchasing has not been fully implemented in accordance with the JIT purchasing concept. The company still purchases and stores raw materials in large quantities, resulting in storage costs that do not add value to the company. This is inconsistent with the JIT purchasing concept. Additionally, CV. Inti Rotindo has not yet established formal cooperation contracts with suppliers. As a result, suppliers do not deliver orders in small quantities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived quality and country of origin on purchase intention for Honda Vario motorcycles. As a global brand, Honda holds a strong image, and consumers' perceptions of product quality and the country of origin are believed to significantly affect purchasing decisions. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, and data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents who have considered or purchased a Honda Vario. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that perceived quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Country of origin also has a positive influence, although its effect is weaker compared to perceived quality. These findings suggest that perceived quality is the dominant factor in driving purchase intention, while the country of origin still plays an important role in shaping the overall brand image. Abstract

Currently smartphone features can replace computer functions ranging from komusikasi, online shopping, browsing, and others. In 2024, it is estimated that the number of iphone users in the world will reach 1.46 billion people, this number is equivalent to 18% of the world's population. The number of Iphone users in Indonesia reached 20 million users in the October 2024 period (DataBoks, 2024). The figure shows that people's purchasing decisions on iPhones are high, especially in the Mataram City area. Mataram City is the capital of West Nusa Tenggara province. Mataram City is a city that is the center of industry and the largest economic turnover in West Nusa Tenggara. In Mataram itself many people choose to use the Iphone rather than other brands. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of product innovation, brand awareness, and brand image on customer loyalty Apple products. This study uses quantitative methods with the number of respondents as many as 120 respondents and data processing tools using SPSS 22. The results of this study that the variable product innovation (X1) positive and insignificant effect on customer loyalty (Y). Brand awareness variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (Y). Brand image variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (Y). Product innovation variables (X1), brand awareness (X2), brand image (X3) have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on customer loyalty (Y).
