Slum settlements are the subject of this research, specifically how better stakeholder collaboration can lead to better environmental and health outcomes. The study's objectives are to (1) evaluate the effectiveness of stakeholder cooperation in improving the health of slum residents, (2) identify the obstacles to and opportunities for enhancing the environment and health of slum communities, and (3) assess the environmental and health conditions in slum settlements. Access to essential services and infrastructure, environmental pollution, and healthcare availability were all summarized using descriptive statistics. Stakeholder collaboration, including that between the government, NGOs, CBOs, and the business sector, is also highlighted as being essential to improving slum dwellers' health and wellbeing. It was also determined that community-led projects, multi-sectoral approaches, and innovative solutions are essential to enhancing the quality of life in informal settlements and reducing health risks. Finally, the research highlights barriers to enhancing the environment and health of slum settlements, such as inadequate access to basic services, pollution, and economic and social exclusion. Taken as a whole, the results of this research stress the critical importance of multidisciplinary efforts to alleviate slums' myriad problems. Sustainable improvements in the environment and health of slum settlements can be achieved through the implementation of innovative solutions and the promotion of cooperation among stakeholders, lowering the disease burden in these communities and fostering social and economic inclusion.

Abstract

With an emphasis on digital transformation, this thesis analyzes methods for enhancing organizational effectiveness and competitiveness through the use of technology. There is a growing need for administrators and managers to comprehend and execute digital transformation strategies due to the widespread use of technology in businesses. The research combines different techniques, such as a literature review, in-depth interviews, and a survey of the workforce at one company. According to the research's results, successful digital transformation initiatives require buy-in from the top down, a well-defined path forward, and a culture that prizes creativity and teamwork. Effective change management strategies that address employee concerns and utilize the benefits of digital technologies should also be an integral part of digital transformation strategies. The research also identifies digital transformation's enablers and inhibitors, and assesses how well digital transformation strategies boost productivity, efficiency, and performance in businesses. Researchers and practitioners in the field of management and administration can benefit from the study's valuable insights into the strategies for improving organizational efficiency, productivity, and performance through technology adoption. However, there are caveats to the research that should be taken into account. The results of this study need to be replicated in other settings and with bigger samples.

Abstract

The meaning of the term "development" is common parlance. Although its limited meaning is one of improvement, its broader significance is far-reaching. But the exact significance might be different for each individual. Some people may anticipate a certain breakthrough while others may not. College kids have a huge impact on society. And the ideas they have deserve recognition. College students in Bangladesh have divergent views on what constitutes progress in the country. While many students believed that progress could be ensured only through personal growth, others held that development required changes to their physical environment. Many people believe they are living a fully developed life, but in reality, they are not. Alternatively, dimensions may have a range of connotations. The question is whether these factors are seen as crucial by the graduates. How well-versed they are in the concept of growth. There are also developmental roadblocks to consider. The main goal of this research is to find out the thoughts of university students of Bangladesh and get to know what is the meaning if development to them. For more in-depth analysis there are some objectives to get information about development and to get the opinions and analyze them.

The methodology section outlines the research approach and data collection methods utilized in the study. The findings of the study reveal that the adoption of technology-enabled HR systems brings both opportunities and challenges. While these systems enhance efficiency and streamline processes, they also require careful consideration of factors such as employee training, data security, and resistance to change. Furthermore, the era of technological disruption necessitates the reevaluation and redesigning of job roles and responsibilities to align with emerging technologies. This requires organizations to proactively identify the impact of technology and develop strategies to equip employees with the skills needed for the digital age. The thesis explores the significance of enhancing employee engagement and motivation in the face of technological disruption. Clear communication, employee recognition, career development opportunities, work-life balance initiatives, empowerment in decision-making, and employee development programs are identified as crucial factors in fostering employee engagement and motivation.

Abstract

The digital revolution has had a profound impact on public service delivery worldwide, and Bangladesh is no exception. In recent years, the government of Bangladesh has made significant strides in embracing technology to improve citizen-government interactions through public service applications. These applications offer a wide range of services, from tax payments and utility bill settlements to healthcare and education resources, making governance more accessible and citizen-centric. However, the effective management of public service applications poses several challenges, including technical issues, administrative hurdles, user-related concerns, and legal and regulatory complexities. This thesis explores the management of public sector strategies in dealing with the use of public service applications in Bangladesh. A mixed-methods research design is adopted, encompassing both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. A literature review provides an overview of the current landscape of public service applications in the country and highlights best practices from other nations. Primary data is collected through surveys and interviews, which capture citizen perspectives and experiences, as well as insights from government officials and technology experts. The findings indicate that public service applications have a positive impact on governance, enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and transparency. However, challenges such as limited digital infrastructure, cybersecurity concerns, bureaucratic resistance, and digital literacy gaps need to be addressed. Strategies for effective management are proposed, including improving technical infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity measures, promoting user education, streamlining administrative processes, and fostering collaboration with the private sector and NGOs. Furthermore, the importance of data privacy policies, multilingual applications, and continuous user feedback for enhancing citizen trust and inclusivity is emphasized.
