Abstract

Since ancient times, injustice in social life related to gender has become a frequent problem in society. Women are only objects and do not get equal rights in social life, education, and position before the law. Kahlil Gibran, a writer of the Mahjar Era from Lebanon, in the novel المتكسرة الأجنحة Al Ajnihah Al Mutakassirah (Broken Wings), raises the issue of women's helplessness against the influence of male power at that time. The character of Salma Karamy, the daughter of Faris Affandi, a wealthy man in Lebanon, is helpless in the face of the influence of the power of Bishop Bolus Galib who wants Faris's wealth by forcing the marriage of his nephew Mansour Bey Galib to Salma. Salma and Kahlil Gibran's love ran aground. This journal uses a qualitative-descriptive method to examine the novel المتكسرة الأجنحة Al Ajnihah Al Mutakassirah (Broken Wings) by Kahlil Gibran, in terms of feminism, especially liberal feminism according to Naomi Wolf. From the results of research and analysis of the novel الأجنحة المتكسرة Al Ajnihah Al Mutakassirah (Broken Wings) by Kahlil Gibran, it was found that the influence of religious leaders (Bishop Bolus Galib) was very large in social life in society. Women at that time lived oppressed, only as objects, and did not have equal rights with men. "A woman is like a commodity that is bought, offered, and moved from one house to another, then she will become like a piece of old furniture placed in a corner of darkness".

Abstract

Waterflood is one of the keys in maintaining reservoir health and carrying out oil recovery in the secondary stage. In its development, the implementation of surveillance and monitoring activities is carried out to monitor waterflood performance both from the production and injection sides on a regular basis to maximize production optimization. However, there are many challenges that must be faced in developing waterflood, some of which are maintaining the Voidage Replacement Ratio (VRR) and the production of unexpected water. Therefore, a simpler and easy-to-apply surveillance and monitoring approach is needed. This paper describes how the application of waterflood surveillance and monitoring principles and practices is carried out in carrying out the oil recovery process and monitoring reservoir health. The reservoir health monitoring process includes several aspects such as Voidage Replacement Ratio (VRR) and Water-Oil Ratio (WOR), as well as identification of areas of interest of accumulated oil through the Production Attribute approach. The application is carried out on Field 'X' which has a typical production with a fairly high water cut. This approach was successfully applied to Field 'X' and gave the results of the approach that was quite ideal to be applied

Abstract

Historical tourism in Indonesia, especially destinations such as Borobudur Temple, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Palace, has great potential to attract both domestic and international tourists. However, negative reviews that come from user-generated content in the form of testimonials are often a factor that can affect the interest of tourist visits. This study aims to analyze the impact of negative reviews on interest in tourist visits to these historical destinations. This study aims to eval_uate the extent to which negative reviews affect interest in tourist visits to three main cultural destinations in Indonesia: Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, and Ratu Boko Palace. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method by collecting data through a survey of 58 respondents who have visited the three destinations. The data was processed using SPSS software to test the validity, reliability, and influence of negative reviews on the interest of tourist visits. The results of the analysis showed that negative reviews did not significantly affect the interest of tourists visiting Borobudur Temple, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Palace. All three destinations remain the top choice for tourists, despite the negative reviews, mainly due to their strong historical reputation and visual appeal. This study concludes that negative reviews do not have a significant influence on the interest in tourist visits to the historical destinations of Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Palace. Therefore, destination managers are advised to continue to pay attention to negative reviews as eval_uation material but do not need to worry too much about the impact on tourist visits.

Abstract

This study examines the role of communication media, particularly in the dissemination of emergency content with a blue Garuda backdrop related to the Regional Election Bill (RUU Pilkada) in Indonesia. The primary focus of this research is to understand how communication, especially through social media, is utilized to mobilize users and generate public opinion communication. Using a qualitative approach, the study analyzes visual demonstration content spread through social media and applies theories of human communication and mediated communication to user perception and political engagement. The findings indicate that social media has become an extremely effective political communication tool, allowing information to spread rapidly and reach a broad audience. Emergency warning visuals shared on social media platforms are effective in capturing public attention, triggering mass mobilization, and stimulating political discussions across different segments of society. The study concludes that social media plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion and encouraging political participation concerning legislative issues such as the RUU Pilkada. The results highlight the importance of understanding communication from media communication perspectives for maintaining healthy and productive communication practices.

Abstract

Laboratory management in Educational Institutions is important to support students' practical learning because laboratories are a means for students to delve into the material directly. An important aspect of laboratory management is budget management and consumables. Not a few Educational Institutions use spreadsheets to manage the budget and procurement of Consumables, which are often inefficient and poorly integrated. These limitations make it difficult to monitor budgets and the status of goods requests in real-time, hinder transparency, and increase the risk of human error, which can ultimately reduce accountability in laboratory management. This research aims to develop a more integrated budget management and procurement system for Consumables using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with  Odoo software, involving the Accounting and Purchase modules. The QuickStart method is used to ensure smooth implementation by actively involving users throughout the development cycle. This system includes budget creation and monitoring, purchase order creation, and validation of goods received. The results of the Black Box Testing and Expert Judgement show that the developed system has met all the testing objectives, although improvements are still needed, such as the addition of graphs for budget visualization. The implementation of this system is expected to increase transparency and accountability in budget management and procurement of consumables in educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership and competence on the work performance of TNI AU financial officers. The formulation of the problem raised in this study includes three main aspects: (a) the partial influence of transformational leadership on work performance, (b) the partial influence of competence on work performance, and (c) the simultaneous influence of transformational leadership and competence on the work performance of TNI AU financial officers. The research method used is an associative quantitative approach. This study uses a survey with a questionnaire as a data collection instrument, which is then analyzed using SPSS statistical software version 25. The research population is all TNI AU finance officers, with a sample of 99 people who are randomly selected. Data analysis was carried out through a linear regression test to test the partial and simultaneous influence of independent variables (transformational leadership and competence) on bound variables (work performance). The results of the study show that transformational leadership and competence partially have a positive and significant influence on work performance. Simultaneously, these two variables have also been proven to have a significant effect on work performance, with a contribution of 51.6% to the variation in the work performance of TNI AU finance officers. The discussion of these results emphasizes the importance of developing inspirational leadership and high competence in achieving optimal performance in the military environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of High Performance Work System (HPWS) on intention to leave and safety workarounds, with the role of burnout as a mediation variable and mentoring and coping mechanism as a moderator variable. The study was conducted on non-doctor employees at the Diponegoro National Hospital, Semarang. The method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the study show that HPWS has a negative influence on burnout, which means that the implementation of HPWS can reduce the level of emotional fatigue of employees. In contrast, burnout has a positive effect on intention to leave and safety workarounds, indicating that employees who experience burnout are more likely to want to leave the company and ignore work safety procedures. In addition, burnout acts as a mediator between HPWS and the two variables. Good HPWS implementation is able to reduce burnout, thereby reducing employee intentions to move and increasing compliance with safety procedures. The conclusion of this study is that the effective implementation of HPWS can reduce employee burnout, reduce the desire to leave work, and increase compliance with occupational safety. Mentoring and coping mechanisms play an important role in strengthening the positive effects of HPWS.
