Abstract

The development of urban mobility and the growth in the number of motorized vehicles have created significant security challenges in managing parking areas. In this context, the use of Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology and object detection emerges as a potential solution. Through the implementation of a smart camera system equipped with number plate detection and object detection, this research aims to reduce the risk of human error in recording parking data and prevent illegal parking. In answering this problem, this research offers a solution in the form of developing a smart camera system that is able to detect the presence of vehicles and recognize number plates with a high level of accuracy. Through the integration of ALPR and object detection, this system is expected to be able to overcome obstacles that arise in parking management, increase efficiency, and effectively prevent illegal parking. The implementation of automatic barriers, access cards and integrated CCTV monitoring will further strengthen the security of the parking area. With the research results, the proposed smart camera system succeeded in achieving vehicle and license plate detection accuracy levels above 90%. The quantitative and qualitative data collected supports the effectiveness of this solution in improving parking management and parking area security. In conclusion, this research makes a positive contribution in facing security challenges in cities through the use of advanced technology, opening up the potential for widespread application in the context of continuously developing urban mobility.

Abstract

The responsiveness of the Trading Business License (SIUP) licensing service provider is very important to create a pleasant and excellent licensing service system. Simplification of the number and types of licensing and non-licensing has been carried out, from 142 types to 34 types. Through the online system, it is easier for applicants to register and monitor the flow of permits and can speed up the licensing process time, one day service. The Department of Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) has made various efforts to increase the responsiveness of SIUP services, but based on preliminary research conducted by researchers, it shows that the level of responsiveness of the East Luwu Regency DPMPTSP is still not optimal, being in the "sufficient" category. This research aims to analyze the level of responsiveness and factors that hinder the responsiveness of SIUP services in DPMPTSP East Luwu Regency. The research used a descriptive quantitative approach, with a questionnaire instrument to collect data from 100 respondents from a population of 1,342 people. The sample taker used a simple random sampling technique. Data processing using SPSS version 22, was then analyzed using Weight Means Score (WMS). The level of responsiveness of DPMDPTSP East Luwu Regency in SIUP services, an average of 3.41 (fair) indicates that responsiveness is not optimal, especially in terms of speed of service, timeliness of service, and response to every applicant's complaint as stated by Zeithaml et al (1990) that Daya Responsiveness is the willingness and readiness to help provide immediate service, such as punctuality of service, responding to every applicant, service quickly, precisely and carefully.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method in the process of receiving the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) scholarship at the Cerdika International Cyber Polytechnic. The main purpose of this study is to improve accuracy and efficiency in the selection of KIP scholarship recipients. The K-NN method was chosen because of its ability to classify data based on the proximity of features between samples. This research involves analyzing data on prospective scholarship recipients which includes variables such as academic achievement, economic conditions, and extracurricular activities. The results of the implementation of the K-NN method show that this method can be used as an effective tool in the selection process of KIP scholarship recipients, with a fairly high level of accuracy compared to traditional methods. This finding is expected to help the Polytechnic in increasing transparency and fairness in providing scholarships.

Abstract

The rapid development of computer-human interface in process industries control systems challenged control room operator (CRO) to maintain their situation awareness (SA) at the high alert level. The paper aims to present physiological factors affecting the work performance of CRO wellness status during their duty to measure their SA level. PERCLOS number of eye-opening recognition and heart rate profile used as physiological variable to measure fatigue effect. Alarm management records and response time spent in controlling process changes behavior used as cognitive behavior variable representing competency performance. Fuzzy logic methods selected to correlate the input variables to the SA level as output variable that will be useful to communicate the CRO situation awareness status into the computer human interface as an alert system for the CRO themselves or further to their supervisor for any intervention required. Results of the observation and analysis shows a significant correlation between the observed physiological of the CRO and the cognitive behaviour of the CRO at different stress level working condition. The findings support the development of wellness alert system in process industries control system through enhancing SA level of CRO effectively.

Abstract

Performance allowance is a right for every civil servant which is calculated based on employee performance achievements. Performance allowances are included in employee expenditure which ranks third largest in the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget after capital and goods expenditure. The types and procedures for paying performance allowances are very complex, such as master, follow-up, continuous, shortage, 13th month, and THR performance allowances with different calculation formulas according to the grading order, in addition to the number of work units as many as 9,104 for all State Ministries/Institutions with a total of 967,724 employees, the development of a reliable and adequate information system is needed. The Directorate General of Treasury already has a performance allowance module on the web salary application, but it still needs to be improved and refined so that the process of recording, calculating, testing, and disbursing the process is easy and safe. The application design is not only from the side of the work unit but also from the side of KPPN. The research will use the segregation of duties method to map the separation of functions in terms of making and testing performance allowances, while for application design, Famework for The Application of System Thinking (FAST) will be used, especially for the initial four stages, namely scope definition, problem analysis, requirement analysis, and logical design with various uses of diagrams such as business process diagrams, use case diagrams, Flowchart, Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram is to describe the needs, planning of activities, ease and direction in system development.
