Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the way businesses interact with consumers, especially through online customer reviews. These reviews are an important element in the consumer decision-making process by providing social proof that strengthens the perception of the product or service. This study aims to analyze the influence of online customer reviews on consumer satisfaction in the culinary MSME sector in the city of Bandung. The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique involving 150 active respondents on social media. Data was collected through a questionnaire with the Likert scale. The results of the validity and reliability test show that the research instrument meets quantitative research standards. Correlation analysis showed a positive and significant relationship between online customer reviews and consumer satisfaction with a correlation coefficient of 0.569. Positive reviews increase consumer confidence, while negative reviews decrease buying interest although the impact can be minimized through quick and professional responses from sellers. In conclusion, online customer reviews play an important role in creating consumer satisfaction, so companies need to manage these reviews effectively to maintain customer loyalty in the digital age.

Abstract

Tax revenue is the main source of state revenue, but disputes often arise related to the application of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAs). These disputes generally revolve around the fulfillment of administrative requirements, especially the inclusion of a Domicile Certificate (SKD). This research aims to analyze the application of material and formal legal principles in two Tax Court decisions, namely PUT-001293.35/2020/PP/MXVIIIA Year 2022 and PUT-004868.13/2021/PP/MXIIIB Year 2022, as well as the implications for legal certainty and taxpayer protection. The research uses normative juridical method with statutory, case, and conceptual approaches. Data is obtained from literature studies in the form of laws and regulations and legal doctrines. The results show that decisions that prioritize material legal principles provide substantive justice but have the potential to weaken the application of tax regulations. Conversely, decisions that prioritize formal legal principles provide legal certainty by emphasizing the importance of fulfilling administrative requirements. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the need for a balance between substantive justice and legal certainty in the application of P3B. Implementing regulations, such as PER-25/PJ/2018, are important instruments to ensure P3B is used appropriately and prevent misuse, thus supporting the optimization of tax revenue

Abstract

Judicial review plays a crucial role in ensuring justice and legal certainty in tax dispute resolution, particularly in Indonesia, which adheres to the principle of a rule of law (Recht Staat). The Constitutional Court Decision No. 24/PUU-XXI/2024, however, limits the Directorate General of Taxes from filing judicial reviews, creating challenges for addressing errors in tax dispute decisions. This research uses a normative juridical approach to analyze the legal implications of this restriction, examining its impact on state revenue and legal fairness. Findings indicate that such limitations not only reduce legal certainty but also hinder the correction of judicial errors, potentially causing state financial losses. To address these issues, the study recommends a regulatory model that balances the rights of both taxpayers and tax authorities, fostering fair legal certainty and supporting tax revenue optimization for the State Budget. This regulatory refinement is vital for maintaining justice and fiscal stability in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a conditional cash transfer initiative in Indonesia aimed at reducing poverty and improving access to education, health, and welfare services among Beneficiary Families (KPM). Despite its success, ensuring that KPM achieve independence and prosperity remains a key challenge. This study examines the strategic management practices of the Ministry of Social Affairs in promoting self-reliance among KPM. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through literature and documentation studies. The analysis focused on the Ministry's planning, implementation, and evaluation processes, alongside the integration of the PENA (Nusantara Economic Hero) empowerment program. Findings reveal that the Ministry employs strategic management from data collection and program distribution to monitoring and evaluation. The PENA program, targeting entrepreneurial development, has enhanced the capacity of KPM to achieve economic independence. However, gaps in resource accessibility and program coverage persist. The study concludes that while strategic management significantly contributes to the effectiveness of PKH, expanding empowerment initiatives and fostering inter-agency collaboration are crucial for achieving broader impacts. Recommendations include extending the PENA program and conducting comprehensive evaluations to guide future policy enhancements.

Abstract

This research aims to describe code-mixing as a means of conversation for students to increase self-confidence. This research focuses on the code-mixing between English, Indonesian, and Manado used by grade 11 students of Linguistics at SMA Negeri 7 Manado to increase self-confidence. The reasons include talking about a specific topic, quoting other people's words, repetition for clarification, and clarifying the intent of the conversation to the interlocutor. The study also found additional reasons: lack of vocabulary and fear of using the wrong sentences. Students realize they will feel more confident speaking when the teacher allows them to code-mix.

Abstract

The absence of maternity leave for female workers in Fixed-Term Employment Agreements (PKWT) in regionally-owned companies is an important issue related to legal protection and human rights. This study aims to examine legal protection and relevant regulations based on Law No. 6 of 2023 on Job Creation, with specific objectives to: 1) analyze the extent of compliance of regionally-owned companies with labor laws concerning maternity leave; and 2) identify and address the factors contributing to the non-implementation of these rights. Using a normative juridical approach, this study identifies discrimination against female workers, who by nature require more protection in terms of reproduction. The results show that the elimination of maternity leave rights violates Article 153 paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2023, which prohibits termination of employment for reasons of pregnancy or childbirth. The Labor Law provides special rights such as maternity leave to female workers. In conclusion, the company's policy of eliminating this right is against the principle of non-discrimination in human rights. It is recommended that companies comply with labor regulations to ensure the welfare of female workers.
