Abstract

Hospitals have begun adopting Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to enhance healthcare services and meet service standards. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been widely utilized in research related to technology implementation in the healthcare sector, including electronic medical record systems. This research aims to analyze the acceptance of EMR systems in public hospitals (RSUD) using TAM, focusing on the main variables of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through literature review and in-depth interviews with medical staff at RSUD. The results indicate that perceived ease of use significantly influences the initial adoption of EMR, as medical personnel are more likely to embrace technology that they find easy to use. Additionally, perceived usefulness plays a crucial role in determining the sustained use of EMR, particularly when medical staff experience increased work efficiency and accuracy in managing patient data. This research also reveals that the implementation of EMR positively impacts patient satisfaction, enhancing service quality and the speed of information access. In conclusion, the factors of ease of use and usefulness are essential in ensuring the successful acceptance and sustainable use of EMR in public hospitals, as well as contributing to patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Ease of doing business is an important indicator for Indonesia's economic growth, especially for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, which accounts for the majority of GDP and national labor absorption. The implementation of the Individual Company policy through the Job Creation Law is one of the efforts to strengthen this sector. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Individual Company policies in Indonesia, focusing on the role of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as a data manager and its impact on the ease of doing business. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach based on the post-positivism paradigm. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with relevant actors and analysis of policy documents. The results of the study show that this policy has encouraged an increase in the registration of Individual Companies, reaching 151,355 entities by 2024. However, the main challenges include low adoption of digitalization, limited financial reporting capabilities, and constraints on policy socialization. This policy is considered effective in providing legal protection through the separation of personal and corporate assets, but requires strengthening the socialization and mentoring strategy of MSMEs on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

In the context of fiscal decentralization in Indonesia, regional financial independence represents a significant challenge, given the considerable dependence on central fund transfers, including the General Allocation Fund (DAU) and the Special Allocation Fund (DAK). This issue is further compounded by suboptimal management of local own-source revenues (PAD) and ineffective capital expenditure allocations, which have a detrimental impact on infrastructure development and economic growth. Fiscal imbalances between regions also contribute to the widening of economic disparities, impeding efforts to achieve sustainable financial independence. This study aims to analyze the influence of Regional Original Revenue (PAD), General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), and Capital Expenditure on the level of regional financial independence through economic growth in North Sulawesi Province. Using secondary data from the 2011-2023 period, the path analysis method was applied to evaluate the direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study show that PAD has a significant positive effect on economic growth and regional financial independence. DAU and DAK, although contributing to fiscal needs, show varying influences on economic growth and financial independence. These findings emphasize the importance of optimizing PAD and capital expenditure allocation to support economic development and reduce dependence on central fund transfers.

Abstract

Mining activities, especially coal mining, produce wastewater containing heavy metals such as manganese and iron, which can degrade water quality and harm ecosystems. Effective wastewater management is crucial to meet environmental quality standards and reduce ecological risks. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of constructed wetlands in treating coal mine wastewater by assessing critical water quality parameters such as pH, Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Iron (Fe), and Total Manganese (Mn). The research uses a descriptive method involving field sampling and laboratory analysis. Water samples were collected from settling pond BB-18 PPA-BA, both before and after the installation of constructed wetlands. The parameters tested include pH, TSS, Total Iron, and Total Manganese, following standard environmental testing protocols. The implementation of constructed wetlands significantly improved water quality. The measured values after treatment were pH 6.90, TSS 18.20 mg/L, Total Iron 0.31 mg/L, and Total Manganese 2.75 mg/L, all within permissible environmental quality standards. Constructed wetlands effectively reduce pollutants in coal mine wastewater, enabling compliance with environmental quality standards. This approach combines active and passive treatment methods, providing a sustainable and cost-effective wastewater management solution for coal mining operations.

Abstract

Sustainable education plays an important role in improving the quality of human resources (HR) in the era of globalization. This study aims to analyze the concept and application of education sustainability in an effort to improve the quality of human resources, as well as identify factors that affect education sustainability and the policies that support it. The approach used in this study is descriptive with a literature review method, by collecting data from scientific journals, official government reports, and related articles. The results of the study show that the sustainability of education does not only depend on academic quality, but also on the development of individual skills, character, and adaptability to changing times. Continuing education must be responsive to rapid technological, economic, and social developments. In this case, education policies that support improving the quality of teachers, equitable access to education, and integrating technology are important factors in achieving the goal of quality and inclusive education. The Indonesian government has implemented various policies, such as teacher certification programs, continuous training, and teacher professional development to improve the competence of educators. However, the main challenges faced are the gap in access to education between regions, as well as the need to adapt the curriculum to technological developments and the job market. This study concludes that the sustainability of education is an important long-term investment in shaping a generation that is ready to compete at the global level.
