Abstract

Uncontrolled fires can cause significant environmental damage, material losses, and casualties, making community preparedness crucial. In Kelutan Village, Nganjuk Regency, many residents have limited knowledge about fire prevention and management, particularly regarding land fires, which are common due to strong winds and long dry seasons. This study aims to analyze the impact of practice-based fire education on increasing community knowledge. A pre-experimental design with a One Group Pre-test - Post-test approach was used, involving 95 community leaders and village officials from Kelutan Village selected through purposive sampling. The independent variable was practice-based fire education, and the dependent variable was community knowledge. A questionnaire with 20 pre-test and post-test items, tested for validity and reliability, was used as the research instrument. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that 72.6% of respondents had a moderate knowledge level before the intervention, which increased to 86.3% in the high category after receiving practice-based education. Statistical analysis revealed a p-value of 0.000 (p < α), indicating a significant effect of practice-based fire education on community knowledge. The study concludes that hands-on fire education is more effective than theoretical methods in improving public understanding, which is essential for enhancing fire prevention and management preparedness. Village authorities are encouraged to conduct regular and comprehensive fire education programs to better prepare the community.

Abstract

Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among children worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Children are more vulnerable to ARI because their respiratory defense mechanisms, including mucociliary clearance and immune responses, are not yet fully developed. This condition increases the risk of infection and the severity of respiratory illnesses. Zinc is an essential micronutrient that plays a crucial role in various enzymatic processes, cellular metabolism, and the regulation of the immune system. Zinc deficiency has been associated with impaired immune function, making children more susceptible to infectious diseases, including ARI. Therefore, zinc supplementation has been proposed as a potential adjunct therapy to improve clinical outcomes in children with ARI. This literature review aimed to evaluate evidence from clinical trials regarding the effectiveness of zinc supplementation as an adjunct therapy in pediatric ARI. A systematic search was conducted using the PubMed, Cochrane Library, and ScienceDirect databases, and study selection and synthesis followed the PRISMA approach. A total of 11 clinical trials were included in this review. The findings demonstrated inconsistent results in terms of symptom duration, severity reduction, and recovery time among children receiving zinc supplementation. Based on the current evidence, zinc supplementation cannot yet be recommended as a routine adjunct therapy for the management of ARI in children, and further high-quality, well-designed clinical trials are needed to clarify its potential benefits.

Abstract

This paper explores the use of Docker-based containerization as a foundational approach to achieving reproducibility, determinism, and portability in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) research. Addressing the longstanding reproducibility crisis caused by dependency complexity, environment drift, and inconsistent execution conditions, the study demonstrates how Docker’s isolation, environment parity, and version-controlled images enable consistent replication of computational results across diverse systems. Through an analysis of Dockerfile architecture, best practices, and a complete example workflow for training and deploying a machine learning model, the paper illustrates how containerization provides transparent, traceable, and immutable research environments. The findings show that Docker not only simplifies development workflows but also enhances scientific reliability, accelerates experimentation, and supports collaborative, cross-platform AI development, making it an essential infrastructure for modern deterministic science.

Abstract

Leadership is a strategic factor in improving organizational effectiveness, particularly in public sector institutions where service quality and employee performance are closely linked to leadership practices. One leadership style often encountered in government organizations is laissez-faire leadership, which is characterized by minimal direct intervention from leaders and a high level of autonomy granted to employees in carrying out their tasks. While this leadership style may encourage independence and creativity, its effectiveness largely depends on the organizational context, especially the quality of the work environment. This study aims to analyze the effect of laissez-faire leadership on the work environment and employee performance at the DKI Jakarta Education Office. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to employees and subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The analysis focuses on examining both the direct and indirect relationships between leadership style, work environment, and employee performance. The results indicate that laissez-faire leadership has a significant influence on the work environment, particularly in terms of flexibility, interpersonal relationships, and perceived autonomy. Furthermore, the work environment is found to have a significant effect on employee performance. However, the direct impact of laissez-faire leadership on employee performance is relatively weak when not supported by a conducive work environment. Therefore, this study concludes that the work environment plays a crucial mediating role in strengthening the influence of laissez-faire leadership on employee performance in public sector organizations.

Abstract

Moral detachment is an important cognitive mechanism that allows a person to commit aggressive actions without feeling personal sanctions or guilt. This study aims to describe and compile various factors before the occurrence of moral detachment in adolescents and young adult individuals using a broad study approach. A total of 23 scientific articles from international and local publication databases between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed thematically. The results of the data aggregation show that moral release is influenced by interactions involving many factors that include individual, social, digital environment, as well as organizational aspects. Intrapersonal traits such as dark personality traits (Dark Triad), anger traits, and low self-control abilities emerged as main indicators. On the environmental side, the weakness of parental bonds, friendship status, exposure to violent media, and a loose school atmosphere significantly accelerate the emergence of moral detachment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of ERP SAP HR in improving the effectiveness of employee training management in the HR and General Division of DAOP III Cirebon. The study used a qualitative approach with purposive sampling techniques to select eight informants who were directly involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of training as well as users of SAP/RAILEO ERP. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using NVivo 12 software to identify patterns, themes, subthemes, and linkages between aspects of training management. The results show that SAP ERP supports administrative efficiency, data integration, participant monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. However, the effectiveness of training management is not optimal because there are still manual processes that cause delays in information and gaps between system data and field practice. The Training Center/Training Center has full authority to maintain the security and uniformity of national training, but the limited flexibility for DAOP III hinders responsiveness to local needs. Granting limited access to SAP TEM, reducing manual mechanisms, improving SAP modules, strengthening user capacity, and implementing system integrity dashboards are recommended to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of training management. Follow-up research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of ERP SAP on its competencies, performance, and integration with other HR development programs at PT KAI.

Abstract

This article discusses the paradigm of the educational curriculum in the perspective of the Qur'an as an epistemological, philosophical, and pedagogical foundation for the development of the contemporary education system. This study is motivated by the problems of dehumanization, fragmentation of knowledge, and materialistic orientation that color the modern curriculum, so that an alternative framework that is more integrative and centered on the development of the whole human being (insān kāmil) is needed. Using the literature research method and the maudhū'ī tafsir approach, this article examines the verses of the Qur'an related to educational goals, learning processes, student characters, and scientific structure. The results of the study show that the Qur'anic curriculum paradigm is built on the principles of monotheism, the integration of knowledge and values, moral development, and the strengthening of spiritual and social awareness. The paradigm offers a reorientation of educational goals, a tadabbur-based learning model, as well as a relevant character evaluation approach to answer the challenges of 21st century education. Thus, the Qur'anic perspective education curriculum has the potential to be a normative and practical foundation in formulating a holistic, humanistic, and civilized curriculum. This article recommends the need for further research related to the implementation of the Qur'ani curriculum at various levels of education in Indonesia so that this paradigm can be operationalized more effectively in the context of modern educational praxis.

Abstract

The 2022 redevelopment of Situ Cipondoh represents an engineering-based waterfront intervention aimed at improving public space quality, socio-economic functions, and environmental conditions within an urban water body. This study documents and analyzes the technical implementation of adaptive construction methods in shallow-water environments, contributing to the body of knowledge on sustainable waterfront infrastructure development in densely populated urban areas. The project focused on the arrangement of key waterfront areas, construction of a flying-deck jogging track, development of a floating market for vendor relocation, and light water normalization. This paper applies a descriptive-analytical approach using construction documentation from 2022, supported by field observations, technical specifications analysis, and post-construction evaluation to assess the effectiveness of the engineering solutions implemented. The results show that the application of a flying-deck structure supported by mini piles installed from a pontoon constitutes an adaptive engineering solution suitable for aquatic environments with soft soil conditions and limited terrestrial access. Vendor relocation to the floating market improved spatial order while maintaining local economic activities and providing formal trading infrastructure compliant with hygiene and safety standards. Overall, the redevelopment enhanced public comfort, visual quality, tourism activity, and regional asset protection while demonstrating replicable engineering approaches for similar urban waterfront contexts.
