Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on tourism in Indonesia, particularly in the West Bandung Regency. This study aims to comprehend the direction of destination governance policies, tourism crisis mitigation management, and the West Bandung Regency Tourism Office's implementation of tourism destination marketing in the New Habit Adaptation Era. Regulatory and marketing conditions in the West Bandung Regency area will be characterized using a descriptive approach and case study methodology. In the New Habit Adaptation Era, the results of this study indicate the direction of destination governance policies, mitigation management, and marketing in the destination area

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of community responsibility in Code Tourism Village and Kali Gajahwong Tourism Village with a pro-poor tourism (PPT) approach. The two tourist villages started as a slum riverbank area and then turned into a tourist destination. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, literature study, and in-depth interview.  The results of the study showed  differences in the degree of responsibility of people living in Code and Kali Gajahwong tourism villages from PPT perspective to achieve sustainable tourism. Nonetheless, the two tourist villages practice responsible tourism by prioritizing the interests of the environmental ecosystem while preserving the existence of local culture. The PPT approach reveals that there are differences in the degree of independence, the number of tourist visits, utilization of technology, and the psychological conditions of local communities when implementing tourism activities in Kali Gajah Wong and Code.

Abstract

Abstract: Bumi Langit is a gastronomic tourism object that applies the concept of permaculture. Permacutur is a concept of integrated and organic agriculture that applies the principle of balance in a sustainable and sustainable way of life. This study aims to apply the concept of miss helix as a component of gastronomic tourism at the Bumi Langit stall as a permaculture gastronomic tourist attraction.The research method used is a qualitative method, while data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, observations, literature studies and documentation studies. From this research, it is expected to be able to arouse the motivation of tourists to return to Warung Bumi Langit because this object is the only tourist attraction that applies the principles of permaculture in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Sop Senerek is one of the gastronomic and culinary treasures full of historical narratives of the people of Magelang, Central Java since long time ago. The lack of academic literacy and knowledge of tourists perspective towards sop senerek is the main impetus in this research. The research location was taken in the Borobudur area, Magelang, Central Java. Sop Senerek has the opportunity to become a gastronomic tour that is integrated with the tourist attraction of Borobudur Temple and the surroundings areas. The method in this article overview uses the qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that further studies of the attractiveness of Sop Senerek and the involvement of nine helix will encourage and increase tourist interest in visiting the Borobudur Temple area to experience an integrated gastronomic tourism experience.

Abstract

Tourism education is recognized as a vital component in preparing students for careers within the dynamic hospitality and tourism industry. This research investigates the role of tourism education in shaping career readiness among students in Himachal Pradesh Government Schools. The research explores the current state of tourism education in these schools, analysing curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and the integration of practical experiences. Additionally, the study scrutinizes the perceptions of students, educators, and industry professionals regarding the effectiveness of existing programs in fostering career readiness. Through surveys, interviews, and document analysis, the research aims to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for improvement in the tourism education offered by Himachal Pradesh Government Schools. The findings of this study contribute valuable insights to the broader discourse on tourism education and its role in shaping career readiness, particularly in the context of government schools situated in tourist-centric regions. Ultimately, the research aims to inform educational strategies that better equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful and fulfilling careers in the dynamic field of tourism.

Abstract

The artisan gastronomy tourism sector has the potential to attract and support tourism in the city. This research aims to analyze the distribution pattern of famous eating places in the City and analyze the characteristics of tourists in attracting tourism in Surakarta City. The method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative approach, using primary and secondary data. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling with purposive sampling type. The results of data analysis show that the pattern of distribution of eating places in Bandung City is in groups, with location points scattered around the sate building, as well as adjacent to economic centers, cultural tourism centers, and other centers. Characteristics and attractiveness. Bandung has an influence as a tourism developer that attracts tourists, influenced by technological developments, easy accessibility, and a variety of specialties. In terms of the level of interest in artisan gastronomy places in Bandung, tourists are of the opinionthat artisan gastronomy products in this city are attractive

Abstract

The era of globalization has an influence on various areas of life, a lack of belonging to the local culture and environment can result in damage to nature and culture. Educational tourism becomes a unity between tourism and education that can improve the education system, improve the competitiveness of the younger generation and develop human resources for the better. The purpose of this study is to understand how the results of educational tourism for education based on eco-tourism and community based tourism. This research used qualitative to uncover the meaning of research results with case study techniques. The results of exploration of the educational tourism in the Kampung Adat Banceuy can be grouped in the form of community life and rural atmosphere as educational tourism, community based tourism (CBT), and educational and eco-tourism. Educational tourism can provide benefits in addition to tourists as well as for researchers, where recreation can be done while learning directly with the local community. The presence of Kampung Adat Banceuy provides new learning opportunities as well as teaching the value of life, especially to maintain nature and culture.

Abstract

Borobudur Highland tourist destination is located in Purworejo Regency, Central Java Province which is managed by the Borobudur Authority Implementing Agency, as stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 46 of 2017. The purpose of this research is to find out the process mix of the Java Blues and Roots Music Festival event. This research also examines the process mix at the Java Blues and Roots Music Festival event as a branding event for Borobudur Highland tourism destinations. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques of participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. The promotional strategy has been carried out by the management to introduce Borobudur Highland to the wider community through digital and non-digital in the form of advertisements, promotional videos, brochures, books, brochures, leaflets, and events. The organization of the Java Blues and Roots Music Festival event is a step by the manager to promote destinations through events to bring visits to Borobudur Highland. Through research on the process mix at the music festival event, several obstacles were still found regarding venue readiness and evaluation for managers if used as a tourist attraction. Abstract

Ngawonggo Village, Malang Regency, is a tourism destination for the Petirtaan Ngawonggo ancient site which is visited by tourists. Based on the data obtained, it has been visited by domestic and foreign tourists. The beverage needs of these tourists are met by serving modern drinks originating from outside the destination area. Meanwhile, the local drink Wedang Tomboan, which comes from raw materials around this area, requires modifications so that the taste, texture, color, presentation and packaging can be accepted by domestic and foreign tourists. Apart from that, there is another problem, namely that this wedang can become a culinary tourism attraction that attracts tourists. The aim of this research is to find modifications to Wedang Tomboan beverage products with organoleptics and packaging that can attract tourists as a culinary tourism attraction that can sustainably prosper destinations in the area. The method used is qualitative. The organoleptic test results show that the best sample has the highest level of liking, namely F2. Where guests prefer the addition of ginger and secang fiber formulations in Wedang Tomboan to add a spicy taste and a more attractive color.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the SMK learning block system on the learning interest of 11th grade ULP students with a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach. Starting from the description of the block system learning and student interest in learning when the learning model takes place. with quantitative descriptive methods through simple linear regression data processing to determine the value of the influence of the vocational learning block system variable on student interest in learning Data collection is carried out through classroom observations, filling out questionnaires to students, and interviews with teachers as well as the curriculum vice-secretary and human resources (HR) bidand. This research is located at SMKN 9 Bandung , West Java. The results showed that there is no influence between the block system and students' interest in learning, there are other stronger factors that affect the interest in learning of students in class XI of the ULP.
