Abstract

Discussion about educational tourism, not only about student exchange programs or study abroad activities. However, the packaging of education-based tourism activities in a destination is also included in the terminology of educational tourism. This study aims to identify the potential of educational tourist attraction and develop alternative educational tourism programs at UNPAD, Jatinangor. This study uses a method with a qualitative approach, with primary data collection techniques through field surveys and in-depth interviews with the management of UNPAD. Secondary data obtained through literature studies related to previous research and local government policy documents. The collected data is processed using descriptive analysis techniques. The study found that there is a potential educational tourism attraction in the form of 16 faculties which are divided into concentrations of natural and social sciences. Each faculty is supported by adequate amenities and accessibility. The educational tourism development program at UNPAD, Jatinangor is divided into four main programs, including educational tourist attractions development, human resources development, activities development and marketing.

Abstract

In carrying out the development of geotourism in a sustainable manner, there is a need for studies related to geotourism destination planning that can affect the development opportunities of an area. In response to this, research was conducted in planning a marketing development program at one of the geotourism destinations in West Bandung, namely Pawon Cave, so that it can become a geotourism area that cares about the environment and remains attractive to tourists. The approach used is a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive study approach. The data collection technique used was by conducting interviews with related parties as well as observation and documentation in supporting this research. The results of this study provide recommendations for the development of geotourism marketing for Pawon Cave with a focus on the involvement of the surrounding community in developing geotourism areas, conservation education for geotourism areas, partnerships with various parties in regional development and the creation of geotourism interpretation media for the convenience of tourists.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the needs and desires of gastronomic tourists in Bandung City (to build personalization) to be further compiled as a recommendation for gastronomic tourism in Bandung City which is practical, interactive and advanced by utilizing technology. The method used is research and development. The development procedure refers to the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluations) model. Field data collection used a questionnaire technique which was distributed to 37 gastronomic tourists in Bandung City via Google form. The final result of this research is a gastronomic travel guide mobile application that provides recommendations based on the needs and desires (personalization) of tourists in Bandung City.

Abstract

COVID-19 has paralyzed the world tourism sector. Travel restrictions (land, air, and sea), quarantine policies by the competent authorities, and physical restrictions are the main factors for cessation of tourism activities. The tourism sector that relies on individual mobility is supported by transportation modes so that when this is limited, it will have an impact on decreasing tourist visits, occupancy rates and the cancellation of a number of festivals and events that are routinely held until in the end this condition has an impact on tourism sector income. This study aims to obtain an overview of the impact of COVID-19 on the income of the tourism sector in a number of countries. Through literature studies, it is hoped that sufficient information can be obtained so that it can be used as a consideration for tourism managers in developing the concept of sustainable tourism in the future.

Abstract

Tourism destination one of the key concepts of the tourism sector. The rapid growth of tourism destination which have grown rapidly in recent years necessitate marketing as an important factor in tourism destination management. One of the important concepts in the literature of marketing and tourist behavior is self-congruity. Many studies have tested and applied the theory of self-congruity in various industries including tourism destinations with mixed results and findings. The purpose of this study is to generate future research directions by identifying the application of self-congruity in tourism destinations over the last five years. This study uses a systematic literature review method to explain self-congruity in tourism destinations through the identification of ten articles. This literature review research reveals the context of tourism destinations, the variables that have been linked and further research on self-congruity in tourism destinations in the ten articles. This research is the basis for developing self-congruity studies for further research. In addition, this research has a role to provide input to tourism destination stakeholders regarding the application of self-congruity in tourism destination.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) graduates are directed to acquire certain skills that are needed by the industrial world, so that in the learning process, growing experience, visual stimulation, affective awareness, extracting cognitive information, and developing psychomotor skills is a must. The continuous learning process aims to support vocational development which includes exploring, strengthening, and preserving the talents of a student in pursuing a career in the world of work in vocational schools that is balanced with practical and theoretical abilities, this ability can be proven by a certificate of competence by each graduate. Digital learning for hospitality subjects at SMK Pariwisata is very much needed to support the practical abilities of students. The purpose of this research is to examine the development of a digital learning model of the hospitality learning which is expected to be able to produce a virtual space. The data techniques used were observation and interviews, using this type of qualitative research.

Abstract

Yogyakarta is cultural heritage tourism destination in Indonesia. There are many traditional food as part of gastronomic tourism heritage was not being known by tourist. There is research gap was found to developing Goat Brongkos such as the lack of Goat Brongkos producers who are concerned about the Brongkos Kambing business, Limited market coverage, Business management is still conventional. This research conduct to developing tourist attraction while preserving culture based on traditional which is existed in Gunung (Mount) Kidul.  Based on preliminary survey, there is finding that Brongkos Kambing is a typical food of Nglipar Regency that needs to be preserved because it is authentic food taste, easy processing, and ask-to-find ingredients. Also the taste is very authentic, distinctive flavor with a dominant sweet, and savory.   The method using descriptive analytic approach using gastronomic tourism component, and also deep interviewed to nine stakeholders (nona helix). There is a result that Brongkos Kambing has the value of philosophy, history. The raw material was can be found in local area, the process is interesting because first the spices were only mixed into the pot to the boiling goat bones or in the local language brongkos. The taste and serving experience have educational, nutrition and ethic value. This food has the potential to be developed as comprehensive tour package and become a gastronomic tourism attraction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the motivational description and its impact on the intention to return to Mount Papandayan Nature Tourism Park during the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to acquire findings in the form of an overview of the motive for revisit intention at Mount Papandayan Nature Tourism Park during the Covid-19 pandemic, descriptive-verification research, a method known as an explanatory survey, was used in this study. 350 responses made up the 350 samples, who were tourists who went rock climbing on Mount Papandayan Nature Tourism Park during the Covid-19 epidemic. In this study, a non-probability sampling methodology called incidental sampling was utilized to determine the sample size. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires that were sent to respondents and observations were employed in data gathering approaches. Validity and reliability tests, the classical assumption test, the multiple linear regression test, the f test (simultaneous), and the t test were all employed to analyze this (partial). Test results revealed that during the Covid-19 epidemic, motivation had an impact on visitors' intentions to return to Mount Papandayan Nature Tourism Park. The number of visitors to Mount Papandayan Nature Tourism Park who are highly motivated is evidence of this. as well as the desire to return and to refer friends, family, and acquaintances.Keywords: Sport Tourism, Motivation, and Revisit Intention.

Abstract

Kuningan district in West Java Province has a local food has uniqueness as gastronomic cultural heritage destination. Integrative information about gastronomic heritage tourism destinatio was not yet available, so tourist cannot easy to choose to visit industry who sell local food as tourist attraction. The general objective is to identify and map the locations of the potential Kuningan local food which can later be used by various stakeholders such as local governments, local culinary business actors, the travel industry, including tourists. While the specific objectives of this study are: (1) identifying potential of Kuningan local food, (2) making a map of the location of potential local food sales in Kuningan District. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative research method in the identification of typical/unique culinary tourism in Kuningan. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, interviews and literature studies. Data collection through observation and interviews was conducted in local government agencies, the travel industry and culinary tourism businesses in Kuningan District. Literature studies cover all concepts and theories related to culinary tourism, especially culinary references in Kuningan. The results obtained from this study indicate that there are quite a lot of potential local food of Kuningan with their own unique identity. Another result is a map of the location of the potential Kuningan local food sales that can be used by stakeholders in developing Kuningan culinary tourism.

Abstract

With the Covid-19 disaster, there must be a new strategy in promoting Dago Dreampark attractions, the right way to promote tourism objects is to use social media, this can be seen from the increase in downloading the Tiktok application which is currently trending. A strategy is needed so that the Dago Dreampark tourism business can still promote its tourist destinations by making good use of Tiktok in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. In-depth data collection techniques used in the study were in-depth interviews and observation. The data analysis used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.How Dago Dreampark utilizes Tiktok social media as a promotional medium by arranging several strategies such as using hashtags, collaborating, following current trends, clear descriptions and posting frequently. Not only that, Tiktok Dago Dreampark also takes advantage of the features provided to make the videos more interesting, such as music, voice changer filters, stickers and live. The role of Tiktoktun is increasingly felt when Dago Dreampark also creates loyal customers on the Tiktok platform, this can be seen in the habit of replying to comments in content on Tiktok, the source also stated that if there is a target in replying to a comment, which is between 2x24 hours of comments, comments on every Tiktok Dago Dreampark content must be replied.
