Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial leverage, return on assets and inflation on underpricing in companies conducting Initial Public Offerings in companies listed on the IDX. The sample used in this study was 181 companies out of a total of 297 using purposive sampling, from the data obtained there were 61% of companies experiencing underpricing, this was caused by several factors, one of which was financial and non-financial factors which were used by both issuers and investors as benchmarks in determining stock price and investment decisions. The company's ability to return assets and debts is a factor that is generally considered by investors in investing in a company, in addition, the ongoing inflation rate is another factor that can reduce the real value of the company's income and profits in the future, making investors demand a high safety margin which results in the company setting a lower IPO price. Therefore, ROA, financial leverage and inflation were chosen as dependent variables in this study. The research method used is quantitative. Based on the research results obtained, financial factors, namely financial leverage and ROA, do not have a significant effect on underpricing, with a p-value of 0.554 and 0.397, while non-financial factors, namely inflation, have a significant effect on underpricing with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

This paper examines the history, impact, and challenges of Indonesia's Electronic Information and Transactions Law (Law No. 11 of 2008, as amended by Law No. 19 of 2016) through a descriptive qualitative approach. By conducting a systematic content analysis of primary legal texts, official ministry reports, and secondary scholarly literature, the study reconstructs the law's evolutionary trajectory from its initial focus on electronic signatures and contract validity to the expanded criminalization of digital offenses, including defamation, hate speech, and data misuse. The analysis is conducted using Miles and Huberman’s coding technique to identify patterns related to regulatory developments, socio-economic impacts, and associated challenges. The research finding indicate that reveal that the ITE Law has enhanced digital governance in libraries by curbing misinformation and protecting intellectual property, strengthened consumer protection in online commerce by clarifying rights and dispute mechanisms, and initiated regulatory frameworks for emerging fintech platforms. Despite these positive developments, the research identifies persistent implementation challenges, including socio-cultural resistance, legal ambiguities, resource constraints, and the rapid pace of technological change, that hinder consistent enforcement across regions. The paper concludes by recommending targeted legal literacy campaigns, more explicit legislative provisions, and agile regulatory review mechanisms to ensure the continued relevance and effectiveness of the ITE Law in striking a balance between innovation, fundamental rights, and national stability.

Abstract

Housing is one of the basic human needs. Houses are also a place for humans to take refuge from heat and rain. North Jakarta is one of the administrative cities in DKI Jakarta Province where most of the area is residential areas because the number of people is always increasing from year to year. Therefore, good design is needed from the architectural side so that the houses that are designed and built will provide comfort for their residents. The method used in the research entitled 1-storey Residential House Design with an Environmentally Friendly Concept in North Jakarta is to use a descriptive qualitative method by determining the location, looking for literature studies from articles or books, conducting an analysis at the location, then making drawings of the design of a 1-storey residential house with an environmentally friendly concept. The design drawings are expected to provide comfort for its occupants when they have been built and inhabited.

Abstract

Project delays in construction often lead to significant financial consequences, particularly in terms of penalties specified in the project contract. This study addresses the cost-efficiency consideration behind the decision to implement project crashing through overtime, as opposed to accepting the penalty due to project delay. The research uses a case study of a geothermal power plant renovation project in Indonesia, which faced a ten-week delay caused by external factors. The study compares the penalty potential with the total cost of project crashing calculated. The results reveal that accelerating activities on the critical path only costs 17.02% of the potential penalty if no corrective actions are taken. This analysis emphasizes the importance of financial trade-offs in project decision-making and highlights that project crashing, when planned and executed properly, is a rational and cost-efficient strategy to recover from delays, provided it does not compromise project quality and scope. The study contributes to understanding the financial implications of project acceleration and offers insights for managers considering delay recovery strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of transmitter power reduction policies implemented to mitigate spectrum interference between the GSM-R system and cellular networks on the Jakarta–Bandung High-Speed Railway (KCJB), with a specific focus on Indosat. Employing a quantitative descriptive method complemented by strategic management analysis (SWOT, IFE–EFE, QSPM), this study analyzes technical parameters (RSRP, traffic volume, active users) and business indicators (daily revenue, customer churn rate). Findings indicate significant service quality degradation, marked by a 35.7% decrease in RSRP coverage, 34% reduction in daily traffic volume, and 33% decrease in active users. Additionally, business performance suffered, reflected by 5.8% drop in daily revenue and a substantial rise in customer churn. Strategic analysis suggests joint spectrum management and installation of band-pass filters on the GSM-R side as the optimal mitigation strategy. This study underscores the necessity of coordinated technical and regulatory solutions to balance interference mitigation with telecommunication service sustainability.

Abstract

PT PLN UP3 Banten Selatan faces material shortages that delay customer connections, impacting service quality and regulatory compliance. This study aims to optimize inventory control for Main Distribution Unit (MDU) materials, focusing on 1-phase New Installation (PB) and Capacity Upgrade (PD) requests. The research compares current inventory practices with continuous review (s,S) and periodic review (R,s,S) systems to identify optimal inventory parameters. Risk management is addressed using the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) framework, specifically the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), to prioritize and mitigate risks in inventory control. Data from PLN’s Executive Information System (EIS)—including demand history, material BoQ, and procurement costs—were analyzed to calculate inventory parameters for each method. The AHP method, supported by expert input, was used to weigh and rank risk criteria and subcriteria. Results show the continuous review system achieves a 100% service level and reduces costs, saving Rp 738,736,538 compared to the periodic review method. Financial risk emerged as the top priority, followed by supply and demand risks. Eight high-risk subcriteria were identified, such as rising storage costs and inaccurate demand forecasts. Proposed mitigation strategies include strict budget planning and vendor diversification. This study provides actionable recommendations for PLN to enhance inventory efficiency, reduce financial risks, and improve service delivery, while also contributing to academic literature on inventory control and risk management in the utility sector.

Abstract

In the context of urban church development, cell groups play a vital role in reaching souls and building a strong faith community. This study aims to explore the contribution of cell groups in urban church development strategies amidst complex social, cultural, and spiritual dynamics. The method used is the library research method. The results of the study indicate that cell groups are not only a place for individual spiritual growth, but also function as a bridge connecting the church with the surrounding community. Cell groups are able to create a supportive environment for members to share their faith, facilitate Bible studies, and carry out social service activities. In addition, the existence of cell groups contributes to improving the church's vision, so that evangelism and missions can be carried out more efficiently. This study also identifies challenges faced in implementing development strategies through cell groups, such as lack of member commitment and differences in vision between groups. However, with ongoing training and church support, cell groups can overcome these obstacles and become more effective in reaching new souls.

Abstract

Parent-teacher collaboration remains a challenge in many early childhood education settings in Indonesia, necessitating early preparation for prospective teachers. This article aims to examine the role of parenting education in shaping prospective early childhood education (PAUD) teachers who are capable of bridging collaboration between parents and teachers. Using a reflective approach to the Parenting course taught in the Early Childhood Teacher Education Program (PG-PAUD) at UNIPAR Jember, this paper highlights the importance of integrating positive parenting values, empathetic communication, and strengthening the role of the family in the early childhood education process. The method employed is descriptive qualitative, based on classroom reflections and student assignments. The results show that students are able to understand and apply fundamental parenting principles and design simple programs that can be implemented in real contexts. This reflection is significant as it provides a concrete picture of students’ readiness to bridge communication gaps between families and educational institutions, and it illustrates the transformation of the PAUD teacher’s role as a facilitator, mediator, and learning partner for parents. The implication is that parenting education at the tertiary level needs to be continuously strengthened as an integral part of the PG-PAUD curriculum, both theoretically and practically.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMA) on purchase intention, using Fitfuel as a case study. The research examines the impact of SMMA on brand awareness and customer trust, and how these two variables influence purchase intention. A quantitative approach was employed, using online questionnaires distributed to 200 respondents, supported by interviews with Fitfuel's management. The external and internal environment were analyzed through PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, competitor analysis, STP, Marketing Mix, VRIO, and SWOT. Results show that SMMA has a significant positive effect on both brand awareness and customer trust. In turn, both brand awareness and customer trust positively influence purchase intention. However, communication between consumers and the brand (as part of SMMA) was found to have a less significant effect compared to other indicators. The study presents a TOWS matrix and implementation plan to offer strategic actions for Fitfuel to optimize its digital marketing, strengthen brand perception, and increase conversion. This research contributes to understanding how digital marketing components affect customer behavior in the health food sector.
