Abstract

The dynamics of the global labour market, which are shifting towards the gig economy era, require university graduates to possess the ability to adapt to technology and to market themselves effectively. This research is motivated by concern over the low job readiness among students, which is attributed to the tendency to use social media solely as a means of entertainment and to a lack of understanding of digital literacy. Departing from this phenomenon, this study was conducted to examine the extent to which personal branding on social media and digital literacy contribute to the job readiness of Management students at the University of Palangka Raya. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. Data were obtained through a questionnaire survey administered to active students who had completed at least four semesters, determined using the purposive sampling method, and were subsequently processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of the study show that personal branding on social media and digital literacy each have a positive and significant impact on job readiness. When considered simultaneously, these two variables exerted a significant positive influence, with a combined contribution of 69.3%. The conclusions of this study emphasise that the combination of technical mastery through digital literacy and the ability to communicate one's competencies through personal branding creates a synergy that is instrumental in shaping the profile of graduates who are ready to compete in the modern labour market.

Abstract

Inpatient services are an important component in the operational performance of hospitals that reflect the efficiency of bed utilization. Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) as the main indicator does not stand alone, but is influenced by other indicators such as Turn Over Interval (TOI), Average Length of Stay (AVLOS), Bed Turn Over (BTO), and the number of hospitalized patients (MRS). This study aims to analyze the factors that affect BOR in inpatient services at dr. J. H. Awaloei Tateli Hospital. The study used an analytical quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach using secondary data for the period March 2025–February 2026 with 84 units of inpatient analysis units per month. The analysis was conducted univariately, bivariately using the Spearman test, and multivariate using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the average BOR was 57.16%, TOI was 3.2 days, AVLOS was 3.28 days, MRS was 240 patients, and BTO was 7.85 times. Bivariate analysis showed that TOI (r=-0.881; p<0.001), BTO (r=0.705; p<0.001), and MRS (r=0.779; p<0.001) were significantly related to BOR, while AVLOS was insignificant (p=0.375). Multivariate analysis showed that TOI (B=-6.485; p<0.001), AVLOS (B=5.353; p=0.005), MRS (B=0.194; p<0.001), and BTO (B=-8.064; p<0.001) had a significant effect on BOR simultaneously with an R² value of 0.784. BOR is significantly influenced by TOI, AVLOS, MRS, and BTO, with TOI being the most consistent factor influencing BOR.

Abstract

This research examines the effect of liquidity and leverage on profitability, with firm size as a moderating variable, in automotive subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research was motivated by the fluctuating financial performance of the automotive industry during the post-pandemic recovery period, particularly regarding liquidity management, debt utilization, and profitability achievement. This research aims to analyze the influence of liquidity, proxied by the Current Ratio (CR), and leverage, proxied by the Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), on profitability measured by Return on Assets (ROA), as well as the moderating role of firm size. The research employed a quantitative associative approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports of automotive and component companies listed on the IDX during 2018–2024. The sample consisted of five companies selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 30 observations after outlier elimination. Data analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that liquidity and leverage have a positive and significant effect on profitability. Furthermore, firm size significantly moderates and strengthens the relationship between liquidity and profitability as well as the relationship between leverage and profitability. These findings imply that companies with effective working capital management, optimal debt structures, and larger asset capacities tend to achieve higher profitability levels. The study supports the Working Capital Theory and Trade-Off Theory in explaining corporate financial performance in the automotive industry.

Abstract

Coal-fired power plants remain an important part of Indonesia’s electricity system because they provide large-scale and reliable baseload supply. However, the perceived low cost of coal-fired electricity is partly influenced by domestic coal pricing policy, particularly the Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) scheme. This study aims to estimate and compare the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) of the Suralaya coal-fired power plant under two coal price scenarios: the DMO price and the market price. A quantitative case study approach was applied using 2024 operational and financial data. The LCOE was calculated using an annualized cost approach by combining annualized capital cost, operation and maintenance cost, and fuel cost, then dividing total annual cost by annual net electricity generation. The results show that the LCOE based on the DMO coal price is IDR 1,008.58/kWh, while the LCOE based on the market price is IDR 1,049.52/kWh. The use of market price increases the LCOE by IDR 40.94/kWh, or 4.06%, compared with the DMO scenario. These findings indicate that coal pricing assumptions affect the financial interpretation of coal-fired power generation costs. Therefore, generation cost assessment should clearly distinguish between actual financial cost under domestic pricing policy and economic cost based on market price.

Abstract

In today's rapidly changing organizational landscape, innovation has become a key determinant of competitiveness and sustainability, especially in technology-based public sector organizations. However, fostering innovative work behavior remains a challenge that requires a deep understanding of the psychological and organizational factors that drive it. This research aims to analyze the role of psychological capital and perceived organizational support in encouraging innovative work behaviors with work involvement as a mediating variable in the context of technology-based public organizations. The method used was a non-systematic literature review by analyzing 16 Scopus indexed journal articles relevant to the research variables. The analysis process is carried out through narrative synthesis techniques and thematic analysis to identify patterns of relationships between variables and gaps in the literature. The results showed that psychological capital had a strong relationship with innovative behavior, while perceived organizational support played an external factor that favored the formation of an individual's psychological condition. Additionally, work engagement has been shown to serve as a mediation mechanism that connects individual and organizational resources with innovative behaviors. These findings also show that the relationships between variables are integrative and cannot be partially explained. The conclusions of this study emphasize the importance of integrating psychological resources, organizational support, and work attachment in driving employee innovation. This research contributes to the development of conceptual models of organizational behavior as well as practical implications for innovation-based human resource management.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is a crucial element in students' lives; however, some students still face challenges in communicating effectively within the campus environment. The growing discussion of avoidant behaviour among young people, high levels of social anxiety, and low levels of self-disclosure indicate the existence of issues in students' interpersonal interactions. This research aims to identify the characteristics of avoidant behaviour among students, analyse the effectiveness of communication among students, and identify the factors contributing to the development of such behaviour in an academic context. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with students selected through purposive sampling as informants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analysed using thematic analysis with reference to Communication Effectiveness Theory. The results indicate that students with avoidant tendencies tend to avoid conflict, limit the intensity of communication, maintain emotional distance, and communicate only when necessary. Communication effectiveness is not yet fully optimised, as miscommunication, limited feedback, and barriers to self-disclosure are still observed; thus, avoidant behaviour is strongly linked to the dynamics of interpersonal communication effectiveness among students in the campus environment.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of integrated digital marketing communication (IMC) within the Ministry of Agriculture’s social media ecosystem in Indonesia. The rapid growth of digital communication has transformed social media from a mere information dissemination tool into a strategic platform for public engagement, institutional branding, and policy communication. However, many government institutions still rely on one-way communication patterns without adapting content to audience characteristics across platforms. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the Ministry of Agriculture’s social media communication strategy through the four pillars of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), namely stakeholders, content, channels, and results. This research employed a mixed content analysis approach combining quantitative-descriptive and qualitative-interpretive methods. The study analyzed 88 posts published across five official social media platforms—YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X/Twitter—during the observation period from November 27 to December 10, 2025. Interaction metrics, such as likes, comments, shares, views, and engagement rates, were examined to identify communication effectiveness and audience response patterns. The findings reveal that informational content dominated the communication strategy at 61.4%, while educational content was completely absent. TikTok generated the highest interaction despite having fewer followers, indicating that communication effectiveness is strongly influenced by platform-format compatibility rather than audience size alone. The study concludes that the Ministry of Agriculture’s social media has not yet functioned as a fully integrated IMC ecosystem because its communication practices still reflect parallel distribution rather than audience-oriented strategic integration.

Abstract

Public space revitalization aims to improve environmental quality and drive regional economic growth. Depok City Square, revitalized in 2020, has undergone significant physical and social changes. This research analyzes property value changes around the square from 2015 to 2025, identifies spatial patterns of value increases, and evaluates the influencing factors. This quantitative study used secondary data (NJOP and property portals) and primary data from field surveys at 120 points within 0–2 km of the square. Analysis employed multiple linear regression (five variables: revitalization dummy, distance to square, distance to main road, commercial intensity, observation year) and GIS-based spatial mapping. The results showed that average property value increases ranged from 48.4% to 87.9% depending on the distance zone, with the highest increase occurring within a radius of 0–500 meters from the square. The regression model yielded an R² of 0.782, with the revitalization dummy variable as the largest determinant (? = Rp1,924,300/m²). Spatial patterns revealed an uneven distribution of increases, with commercial corridors on the west and north sides benefiting more than residential areas on the east and south sides. The study concludes that town square revitalization had a positive and significant impact on property values, but also triggered commercial gentrification pressures that displaced local MSMEs. Therefore, future revitalization policies need to integrate social protection dimensions and land value capture mechanisms to ensure equitable distribution of benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model on user satisfaction with the Sapawarga application in Bandung. The research was motivated by the increasing implementation of digital public services in Indonesia and the need to evaluate user satisfaction as an indicator of the success of e-government services. The study employed a quantitative approach using descriptive and verificative methods. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 400 active users of the Sapawarga application in Bandung, selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The findings reveal that simultaneously, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions significantly affect user satisfaction. Partially, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction, while social influence does not significantly affect user satisfaction. The results indicate that users are more satisfied when the application provides useful features, ease of use, and adequate supporting facilities. However, several issues—such as system instability, complicated service processes, and limited technical support—still reduce the overall user experience. Therefore, the government and application developers are encouraged to improve system reliability, simplify service procedures, and strengthen technical support to enhance sustainable user satisfaction with digital public services.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of marriage dispensation for minors in Sidoarjo Regency in 2026 and analyzes the factors contributing to the increase in applications for underage marriage dispensation. Although the government has amended the minimum age requirement for marriage through Law Number 16 of 2019, applications for marriage dispensation continue to increase in several regions, including Sidoarjo Regency. This research aims to analyze the implementation of marriage dispensation policies, the factors influencing underage marriage, and the role of government institutions in preventing child marriage. The study uses a qualitative juridical-sociological approach by examining legislation, court data, and interviews with officials from the Religious Court and the Women and Child Protection Office in Sidoarjo Regency. The results show that economic conditions, low educational attainment, cultural pressure, pregnancy outside marriage, and limited public awareness are the dominant factors contributing to underage marriage. In practice, the marriage dispensation mechanism is frequently used as a legal pathway to bypass the minimum marriage age requirement. The study also finds that collaboration among the government, Religious Courts, educational institutions, and community organizations is essential to reducing child marriage rates. Therefore, strengthening supervision, public education, and stricter implementation of marriage dispensation regulations are necessary to ensure better protection of children’s rights.
