Abstract

Local governments are expected to increase PAD to reduce dependence on financing from the center, so as to increase regional autonomy and discretion (local discretion). This study aims to determine the strategy for increasing revenue from the Land and Building Tax in Rural and Urban (PBB-P2) in West Kutai Regency, the factors that hinder the achievement of the strategy for increasing PBB-P2 revenues and the factors that can support the achievement of the strategy for increasing PBB-P2 revenues. at the Regional Revenue Service (Bapenda) of West Kutai Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained from interviews with research informants and secondary data in the form of reports and official documents. The research instrument is the researcher himself who in its implementation uses tools in the form of interview guidelines and observation guidelines. The data collection technique used is in the form of interviews, observation and documentation, while the data analysis technique used is in the form of descriptive analysis, namely by interpreting the data, facts, and information obtained. The results showed that the strategy adopted by the Bapenda of West Kutai Regency in increasing PBB-P2 revenues included forming a tax collection officer in the sub-district, socializing SPPT to the community through banners, especially when it was nearing maturity, issuing a Tax Billing Letter (STP) and conducting doorsteps. door to door as well as holding PBB payment week. Factors that hinder the achievement of the strategy to increase PBB-P2 revenue in West Kutai Regency are, among others, due to technological factors, limited facilities and infrastructure, inadequate human resources, and budget constraints, while factors that can support include the commitment of resources. human resources, supportive political and social conditions and a sufficient number of employees.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in the midst of the era of information technology development made the dissemination of information occur significantly everywhere, one of which was messages about prokes through sermons. This study used qualitative research methods, while the data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the study show that the Prokes message from the Preacher and Congregation during the Covid-19 pandemic, it turns out that almost all messages conveyed by the communicator are not conveyed and are actually interpreted differently by the communicant, in this case the congregation. Distortion of the meaning of the message received by the communicant is due to the way of delivery and the delivery limit space using the media which is often disturbed and the differences in the characteristics and background of the communicant who have not fully understood the use of electronics fluently, so that there is often ambiguity in the meaning of the message.

Abstract

The scope of this study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work communication on employee performance at the Linggang Bigung sub-district office, West Kutai Regency. This type of research is an associative quantitative research with the work unit under study being all employees of the Linggang Bigung Sub-district Office, West Kutai Regency. This study includes a population study with a population of 35 respondents. The validity and reliability test questionnaire before conducting research data. The test equipment used in this study uses classical assumptions, the method of data analysis used is multiple regression analysis, t test and f test are also carried out including the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that leadership partially had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Linggang Bigung sub-district office employees, West Kutai Regency, work communication partially had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Linggang Bigung sub-district office employees, West Kutai Regency and both variables had a positive and significant effect simultaneously. on the performance of the Linggang Bigung sub-district office employee, West Kutai Regency. from the results of the coefficient of determination test also obtained a value of 0.841 or 84.1%, meaning that leadership and work communication are able to explain the effect on employee performance while the remaining 15.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to analyze the effect of balancing funds and local own-source revenue on regional expenditure and economic growth before the covid-19 pandemic in Samarinda City. The data used in this study is secondary data, which was obtained in 2014–2019. The analytical tool used is path analysis with IBM-SPSS Version 24. Research results showing that the Balancing Fund take effect direct and not significant to regional expanditure, strengthened score significance 0.356 > 0.05, with score influence direct of -0.318. Balancing Fund take effect direct and not significant to economic growth, strengthened score significance 0.127 > 0.05 with score influence direct of -0.390. Local own-source revenuehas an effect direct and significant to Regional Expenditure, strengthened score significance 0.031 < 0.05 with score influence direct of 1,126. Local own-source revenue has an effect direct and significant to Economic Growth, strengthened score significance 0.027 < 0.05 with score influence direct amounted to 1,879. Influential Regional expanditure direct and not significant to Economic Growth, strengthened score significance 0.106 > 0.05 with score influence direct of -0.728. Local Own-source revenue has no direct and insignificant effect on Economic Growth through Regional Expenditures with the effect of a score of 0.231. Balancing Fund has no direct and not significant to Economic Growth through Regional expenditure with score influence of -0.819.

Abstract

The development of science and technology in the last decade is amazing. This study aims to determine and analyze the factors of discipline, work environment, coordination and employee welfare that have a partial effect on employee performance at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of West Kutai Regency and to find out how factors influence simultaneously on employee performance at the Department of Manpower. and Transmigration of West Kutai Regency. The design of this study was conducted using a qualitative and quantitative descriptive approach. This type of research is a survey, namely analyzing the facts and data needed to support the research discussion, in solving and answering the main problems proposed, namely: analyzing the performance of employees at the Manpower and Transmigration Office of West Kutai Regency. Based on the results of the analysis described previously, it shows that the level of employee performance at the Manpower and Transmigration Office of West Kutai Regency is significantly influenced by discipline factors, work environment, coordination, and employee welfare. Meanwhile, the independent variable that has the most dominant influence is the welfare variable.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the 2021 revision of IIRF in X non-profit organization. This research is qualitative research with an action research approach. The results of this study indicate that X non-profit organization is able to present <IR> based on the eight content elements of IIRF, although the information presented in <IR> is not fully presented in full because the adoption of directed <IR> in IIRF is still at an early stage. However, if the organization is consistent with presenting <IR>, there will be a gradual increase in the following years. This research is expected to provide additional guidance on how to apply IIRF as a guide for presenting <IR> for organization X and other non-profit organizations interested in implementing IIRF.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the distribution model of humanitarian logistics applied when dealing with natural disasters in Pasigala (Palu, Sigi, and Donggala) and to find out the optimal humanitarian logistics distribution model in dealing with natural disasters in Pasigala, Central Sulawesi. The paradigm in this research is based on the phenomenological paradigm and is qualitative. The research was conducted in the affected area of Pasigala through data collection techniques in the form of interviews with informants consisting of disaster survivors and disaster management institutions from both government and non-government. The analysis tool in this research uses the NVIVO 12 Plus software. The results of the research show that the humanitarian logistics distribution model that has been carried out by the relevant institutions has a different structure. The distribution of logistics is still considered not optimal because there are obstacles that have an impact on new problems such as overlapping logistical assistance in several areas therefore it is necessary to propose a redesign of the humanitarian logistics distribution model based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out

Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of Board of Directors Narcissism on Financial Reporting Quality; the effect of the Board of Directors Bonus Scheme on the Quality of Financial Reporting; and The Effect of CEO Duality on Financial Reporting Quality. This research method is quantitative causal type which is asymmetric. The research locations are all state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2020 period. The technique of collecting data is through surveys on secondary data on the IDX official website (www.idx.co.id). The data analysis technique is linear regression of panel data with the help of Eviews 9.0 software. The results showed that the Narcissism of the Board of Directors had a negative and significant effect on the Quality of Financial Reporting; The Board of Directors Bonus Scheme has a positive and insignificant effect on the Quality of Financial Reporting; and CEO Duality has a negative and insignificant effect on the Quality of Financial Reporting. The results of this study as input for the company are that the Narcissism of the Board of Directors, and Dualism of the CEO are not good for the company, so they must be prevented or minimized.

Abstract

Water is one of the most important elements on earth. Water is needed by all living things, both humans, plants and animals. Consuming clean and sanitary water is absolutely necessary to avoid unwanted negative impacts. This research was conducted in February 2022 and aims to determine the status of the water quality of Lake Sentani, Jayapura Regency based on the pollution index according to the hygienic and sanitary water quality standards according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 32 of 2017 concerning Environmental health quality standards and water health requirements for sanitation hygiene needs, swimming pools, solus per agua and public baths. The study used 15 (fifteen) water pollution parameters, namely: physical parameters (turbidity, color, TDS and temperature), and chemical parameters (pH, iron, fluoride, hardness, manganese, nitrate, cyanide, detergent and total pesticides) as well as biological parameters. (total coliforms). The sample in this study was taken from 5 (five) sample points (research stations) namely the mouths of the Haway, Yabawi, Hobay and Kamwalker rivers which are the inlet of Lake Sentani and the headwaters of the Jaifuri river which is the outlet. The results showed that at stations 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, the pollution index (PIj) was 4.07; 3.10; 2.30; 3.75 and 3.88, all of which are based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 32 of 2017 especially environmental health quality standards and water health requirements for sanitation hygiene purposes, are in the range of values of 1 PIj 5 with lightly polluted status. Thus it can be concluded that the water quality status of Lake Sentani based on the pollution index method is in the lightly polluted category.

Abstract

Human resources are a very important factor in an organization, both large and small organizations. In large-scale organizations, human resources are seen as a very decisive element in the business development process, the role of human resources is becoming increasingly important. This study aims to determine the personal role of the leader in increasing the morale of the employees of the Regional Inspectorate of West Kutai Regency, to determine the role of leader decision-making in increasing the morale of the employees of the Regional Inspectorate of West Kutai Regency and to determine the role of the leader in utilizing information sources in increasing the morale of the Regional Inspectorate's employees West Kutai Regency. This research is a type of research that uses a qualitative approach as a research procedure that produces a description in the form of written and spoken words of people and observable behavior, which is carried out at the Regional Inspectorate Office of West Kutai Regency. The research period is from 2020 to 2021. The Inspectorate of the Regional Inspectorate of West Kutai Regency has directly or indirectly provided decision making to its members so that their employees can find out from what has been given by the Regional Inspectorate of Kutai Barat Regency in order to increase employee morale at the Regional Inspectorate Office of West Kutai Regency, which is carried out The Inspectorate of the Regional Inspectorate of West Kutai Regency in making policies for his employees, namely the Regional Inspectorate of the West Kutai Regency Inspectorate always leaves the initial office of his employees and returns to the last office of his employees
