Abstract

Abstract. Heavy lifting on an E-House Module 245 T is using Crawler Crane 1250 T with single lifting while moving on the soft soil ground is most riski and prone to the setllement. The heavy module that are lifted in unstable ground bearing areas will move due to the settlement from soil which can cause damage to module. A site activity of the lifting plan of the module used Crawler Crane 1250 T was conducted to investigate the effect of radius operation and COG Centre of Gravity to be considered for the lifting plan. In this result the rigging sling get safety factor as the lowest it is 1.06, the crawler crane get safety factor is 1.22 and the ground bearing safety factor is 1.53. The load from E-House Module get from the weigingb report is 245 T with the COG XCG 7860 mm , YCG 437 mm and ZCG 5840mm, the module dimension is 18200 mm x and 9000 mm y and 16400 mm z.

Abstract

Abstract. Mooring Line Pre -Lay and Installation Procedure is using AHTS with the power engine 30.000 BHP and has capacity of bollard pull 300 ton is used for mooring line installation for FPSO Marlin Natuna. The Mooring Installation often fail due to the anchor drag during testing. In this site activity the anchor drag is used. The type of anchor drage is strevpris MK6 with the weight 15 ton and after installation it should be test loaded 243 ton, it is 80% from his capacity 304 ton. The Acceptance criteria for the mooring installation is the anchor can not allow drage out of the target box, with allowable drage 13-16 m, during tension test with 30 minute the holding time. The result from the site activity of the mooring line installation as follow ; the tension mooring line number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 are pass with the tension test 250 ton, and the final position of all anchor within in the target box eith the maximum drag 2m.

Abstract

The development of Industry 4.0 era makes today's technology more modern. With the development of technology, the use of Information Technology in business is increasing to help increase productivity, efficiency, and business profits. Epa Café & Resto is a business engaged in culinary. Epa Café Resto has problems such as still using a manual system, the customer must come to the restaurant to transact and the absence of digital promotion making it difficult to compete. The proposed solution to overcome the problem is to create an information system in the form of website delivery order. The Website is built using the waterfall method, while the programming language used is PHP and utilizes the code Igniter framework. Testing the system using blackbox testing method. The test results stated that the information system can work in accordance with the specifications and in accordance with user needs. The resulting information system can make it easier for customers to make transactions anywhere and anytime without having to come to the place. In addition, with the presence of this website, data processing will be more effective, efficient, and also transparent so that it can facilitate the process of sales transactions.

Abstract

Wind is a significant potential renewable energy source for electricity generation. Currently, there are two commonly used types of wind turbines: horizontal-axis and vertical-axis wind turbines. Both types are designed to harness the energy from horizontally moving wind. However, in reality, wind often moves erratically, especially in urban areas with tall buildings. To address this, a cross-axis wind turbine model has been developed to capture energy from randomly moving wind. This turbine model has 10 horizontal blades and 5 vertical blades. Previously, performance testing of this wind turbine model used a 60 W capacity dynamometer generator, but the wind turbine's output power didn't reach the required high torque and rotational speed. In this research, a 40 W capacity generator was used to resolve the previous issues. The parameters measured in this testing include wind speed, turbine rotational speed, voltage, and current. The testing was conducted at wind speeds of 5.3 m/s, 5.8 m/s, 6.3 m/s, and 6.8 m/s, with variations in the blade pitch angles set at 20°, 25°, and 30°. The results of the testing and analysis showed that the maximum performance coefficient of this wind turbine was 7.54%, achieved at a wind speed of 6.3 m/s with a blade pitch angle of 25° and a tip speed ratio of 1,08. The higher the wind speed, the shorter the time required to reach a constant rotational speed. At a wind speed of 6.3 m/s with a blade pitch angle of 25°, it took 30 seconds to reach a constant rotational speed.

Abstract

Microhydro power plants are small-scale power plants that use hydropower as their driving force. The hydropower used can be in the form of water flows such as irrigation canals, rivers or natural waterfalls. Microhydro power plants principally utilize the height and amount of water flow discharge per second on the water flow of irrigation canals, rivers or waterfalls. This flow of water rotates the turbine shaft so as to produce mechanical energy. One of the components in microhydro power plants is a turbine. The type of turbine used in low-head water flow is a screw turbine. This study discusses the effect of blade distance on the performance of microhydro power plants. The change in blade spacing given is 15 cm, 20 cm and 22 cm spacing with a 40-degree blade slope. From changes in blade spacing greatly affect the power and efficiency of the turbine. The highest power is generated by the use of 15 cm blades of 1267 watts. The efficiency of the turbine is also affected by the power generated by the turbine itself. The highest turbine efficiency is produced by the use of a blade distance of 15 cm of 37.25%, the closer the distance between the blades the greater the power and efficiency generated in the turbine itself.

Abstract

The use of air conditioning equipment in dry season is very necessary. Several users have used Air Conditioner (AC) as air conditioning, although there are users who apply air coolers which are considered more environmentally friendly air conditioning. An air cooler is a tool that cool the air while increasing the humidity. This tool uses the principle of the water evaporation process to cool the air or is called an evaporative cooler. In this paper, the performance of a commercial air cooler that uses a built-in cooling pad in the form of honeycomb is reported and its performance is compared with a cooling pad made from banana midrib fiber material.By implementing experiments on commercial air coolers, experiments were carried out by measuring the airflow in the air cooler using Arduino-based data acquisition. From the experiments, the built-in cooling pad has better performance than banana midrib fiber. The decrease in airflow temperature when using a honeycomb cooling pad reaches 0.8 ℃, slightly higher than banana midrib fiber which reaches 0.6 ℃. Honeycomb saturation efficiency is also higher, reaching 50 – 85% compared to 40 – 70% for banana midrib fiber. Likewise, the EER value of honeycomb is higher than banana midrib fiber. However, banana midrib fiber has great potential if it is used as a cooling pad material, it can be used as an alternative material for evaporative coolers.

Abstract

Electric vehicle engines are the same as vehicles with combustion motors, namely they are an assembly of several mechanisms consisting of three main parts, namely the drive, the power transmission system and the driven part. The electric car used for this research is a conversion of a petrol car, where the drive uses a 3 KW BLDC electric motor. The BLDC motor shaft power is transmitted to the axle pinion shaft using a sprocket gear transmission. So an analysis of the sprocket gear design, both ratio, size (type), strength and age of the sprocket gear to be used needs to be carried out. The initial step is to calculate the design power by looking at the correction factors in the table for the type of electric motor drive, then determining the chain number on the graph by first calculating the torque moment. The linear speed of the chain that occurs is influenced by the size of the gears and the input rotation of the electric motor, the greater the speed, the smaller the torque, so the gear ratio needs to be considered in determining the maximum linear speed. After knowing the chain plan number, it can be tested by calculating whether the chain number technically meets good security or not. In this research, the sprocket chain design, namely chain roller number 40 with a maximum load of 33.74 kg, is good, namely greater than sf = 6.

Abstract

The teaching journal recording system is a document of evidence of teaching implementation that can guarantee the quality and quantity of the learning process. Wooi State Middle School, Wonawa District, Yapen Islands Regency, Papua still records teaching journals manually by handwritten. The aim of this research is to develop a teacher assignment journal information system as a solution to the problems experienced by Wooi State Middle School in the form of scattered journal summaries. This system development uses prototyping and implementation using HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript, MySQL, and the CodeIgniter Framework. Research has produced a journal information system that provides website-based journal recording and recording features. The research used the Blackbox testing method to test all available features, and this method stated that everything worked well. The system also passed testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method which resulted in a score of 74.62, which means it is acceptable.

Abstract

The coloring process in anodizing can use solutions of inorganic materials or chemical or organic solutions. Chemical solutions produce waste that can be harmful to the environment, therefore it is hoped that there is another alternative, namely by using dyes produced from leaves, or from fruit, or from tubers, such as purple cassava, carrots or others. Of course, these natural ingredients are easy to obtain, cheap and environmentally friendly. The problem raised in this research is the results of the thickness and brightness of the surface of aluminum metal which is processed by anodizing using various types of coloring from using special coloring materials, food coloring, dragon fruit and pandan leaves. Thus, the aim of the research carried out is to be able to find out from the initial process of anodizing coloring to analyzing the final results of thickness and brightness obtained to be able to conclude which type of coloring is better apart from the special dyes that exist as an alternative to using natural coloring materials.This research method uses an experimental method where the experimental or experimental method uses various types of dyes, namely special dyes (non-natural) and natural dyes (food coloring, dragon fruit extract and purple sweet potato) which are tested with variations in anodizing time of 10, 20 and 30 minutes.The research results showed that to make coloring on aluminum metal using the anodizing process, the following steps are required: etching→ rinse→ desmutting→ rinse→ doff→ rinse→ desmuting→ rinse→ anodizing→ rinse→ coloring→ rinse→ sealing→ rinse→ finish. In coloring tests on aluminum metal using the anodizing process, varying the type of coloring and the length of time for the anodizing process of 10, 20 and 30 minutes, the average thickness for the special dye (orange) was 0.033mm, the natural dye from tubers (purple) was 0.027mm, food coloring (red) 0.023mm, and from pandan leaves (green) 0.016mm. So it can be concluded that the thick type of coloring is from special dyes and the thick coloring below is from natural dyes, namely from purple sweet potatoes, then food coloring and the thinnest is from pandan leaf coloring. As for the analysis of the evenness of the coloring, data was also obtained, namely with special dyes, while the ones that were uneven were purple sweet potatoes.

Abstract

Trap lights, also known as insect traps, are used to attract light-loving insects when night falls. This device can also be used to count the population and presence of insects in agricultural land. From the beginning of planting, the use of light traps will help farmers detect pests. It seems that Indonesian society is still underutilizing wind energy as a source of electricity. One of the reasons is the low average wind speed in Indonesia. It is difficult to generate large amounts of electrical energy because wind speeds range from 3 m/s to 5 m/s. This research focuses on innovating existing tools by providing variations in wind speed and load on turbines, which are then compared to each other to produce turbine efficiency values. Therefore, an experimental method was chosen for this data collection. The test results show that the generator produces the highest power of 4.9833 Watts at a wind speed of 8.75 m/s and a power load of 7 Watts. On the other hand, the turbine achieves the highest efficiency value of 6.52% at a wind speed of 6.91 m/s and a power load of 7 Watts.
