Abstract

ABSTRAK Abstrak: Pelaksanaan zakat memiliki peran penting dalam mengatasi persoalan kemiskinan apabila dikelola secara efektif dan tepat sasaran. Zakat bukan hanya kewajiban ibadah individual, tetapi juga merupakan instrumen sosial ekonomi dalam Islam yang mampu menjadi solusi bagi ketimpangan ekonomi di tengah masyarakat. Dalam konteks lembaga formal seperti BAZNAS, efektivitas pelaksanaan zakat tidak hanya diukur dari jumlah dana yang terkumpul dan disalurkan, melainkan juga dari seberapa besar dampaknya terhadap kesejahteraan mustahik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meninjau seberapa efektif pelaksanaan zakat oleh BAZNAS di Kota Padangsidimpuan, khususnya dalam mengelola dana zakat produktif yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan mustahik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan mengandalkan data primer dari BAZNAS Kota Padangsidimpuan dan wawancara langsung dengan para mustahik yang menerima bantuan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, ditemukan bahwa pelaksanaan zakat oleh BAZNAS Kota Padangsidimpuan masih menghadapi berbagai kendala. Salah satu persoalan utama adalah lemahnya sistem pengawasan dan kurangnya program pendampingan yang berkelanjutan kepada para penerima manfaat. Akibatnya, pemanfaatan dana zakat produktif belum menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dalam mendorong kemandirian ekonomi mustahik. Kata Kunci: Zakat, BAZNAZ, Kota Padangsidimpuan. Abstract: Implementation of zakat has an important role in addressing the problem of poverty if managed effectively and on target. Zakat is not only an individual obligation of worship, but also a socioeconomic instrument in Islam that is able to be a solution to economic inequality in the community. In the context of formal institutions such as BAZNAS, the effectiveness of the implementation of zakat is not only measured by the amount of funds collected and channeled, but also from how much impact it has on mustahik welfare. This research was conducted to review how effective the implementation of zakat by BAZNAS in Padangsdimpuan City, especially in managing productive zakat funds aimed at increasing mustahik income. The research method used is a qualitative approach, by relying on primary data from BAZNAS Padangsidimpuan City and direct interviews with mustahik who received assistance. Based on the results obtained, it was found that the implementation of zakat by BAZNAS Padangsidimpuan City still faces various obstacles. One of the main issues is the lack of surveillance systems and lack of ongoing mentoring programs to beneficiaries. As a result, the utilization of productive zakat funds has not shown significant results in driving mustahik economic independence. Keywords: Zakat, BAZNAZ, Padangsidimpuan City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi prinsip manajemen POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) dalam pengelolaan Masjid Raya Baiturrahman Semarang yang mencakup tiga bidang utama, yaitu keagamaan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam bidang keagamaan, manajemen masjid berhasil menyusun program yang adaptif terhadap karakteristik jamaah yang mayoritas musafir, dengan kegiatan rutin seperti salat berjamaah, kultum, tadarus, serta peringatan hari besar Islam yang dilaksanakan secara terstruktur. Dalam bidang sosial, masjid menunjukkan kepedulian nyata terhadap umat melalui program-program seperti jumat berkah, santunan duafa, zakat fitrah, donor darah, dan khitan massal, dengan pengelolaan yang kolaboratif antara pengurus, UPZ, dan organisasi remaja masjid (IKAMABA). Sementara itu, pada bidang ekonomi, masjid mengelola aset produktif seperti food court, ballroom, walking space, dan area parkir yang disewakan kepada pelaku usaha dan institusi mitra. Pelatihan UMKM dan pelaksanaan bazar Ramadhan menunjukkan komitmen masjid terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi umat. Implementasi prinsip POAC secara komprehensif telah memperkuat profesionalisme pengelolaan masjid dan menjadikan Masjid Raya Baiturrahman Semarang sebagai pusat ibadah sekaligus pusat layanan sosial dan pemberdayaan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan di tengah masyarakat perkotaan. kata kunci : POAC, Manajemen masjid, Keagamaan, Sosial, Ekonomi This research aims to analyze the implementation of POAC management principles (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) in the management of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque in Semarang which covers three main areas, namely religious, social and economic. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The research results show that in the religious sector, mosque management has succeeded in developing programs that are adaptive to the characteristics of the congregation, the majority of whom are travelers, with routine activities such as congregational prayers, cults, tadarus, and commemoration of Islamic holidays which are carried out in a structured manner. In the social sector, the mosque shows real concern for the people through programs such as Friday blessings, donations to the poor, zakat fitrah, blood donations, and mass circumcision, with collaborative management between the management, UPZ, and the mosque youth organization (IKAMABA). Meanwhile, in the economic sector, the mosque manages productive assets such as food courts, ballrooms, walking spaces and parking areas which are rented to business actors and partner institutions. UMKM training and the implementation of the Ramadhan bazaar demonstrate the mosque's commitment to the economic empowerment of the community. Comprehensive implementation of POAC principles has strengthened the professionalism of mosque management and made the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque in Semarang a center of worship as well as a center for social services and sustainable economic empowerment in urban communities. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis secara mendalam fenomena dakwah yang termanifestasi dalam model mentoring atau halaqah tarbiyah di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Dilatarbelakangi oleh urgensi pembentukan karakter (syakhshiyah islamiyah) yang sering kali tidak terakomodasi oleh metode dakwah konvensional yang bersifat massal, studi ini menggunakan kacamata fenomenologi untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman subjektif (lived experience) mahasiswa aktivis dakwah LDK Syahid UIN Jakarta. Penelitian ini mengadopsi paradigma konstruktivis dengan metode kualitatif, melibatkan aktivis dakwah kampus periode 2020-2024 sebagai partisipan kunci. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mentoring keislaman melampaui fungsinya sebagai wadah transfer ilmu agama, bertransformasi menjadi solusi bagi kegelisahan spiritual dan alienasi sosial yang dialami mahasiswa aktivis dakwah kampus. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa mahasiswa aktivis dakwah LDK Syahid UIN Jakarta memosisikan diri sebagai penerima aktif yang secara sadar memilih mentoring sebagai mekanisme pertahanan diri untuk menjaga konsistensi keberagamaan mereka. Hal ini menjelasakan mentroing keislaman berfungsi sebagai pemenuhan kebutuhan transendental dan imanen dalam ekosistem kampus kontemporer.

Abstract

Dian Widayanti (@dianwidayanti) is an influencer who focuses on halal education through content on Instagram. Her Instagram account, created in 2011 and verified in 2023, initially contained personal activities but then transformed into a platform to educate the public about halal food and products. Dian actively shares content about halal food, containing critical information regarding halal certification and how to choose appropriate food. Through digital communication strategies, Dian has successfully built rapport with her audience and increased trust through educational content. This research used qualitative descriptive methods, including interviews with Dian, her creative team, and her followers. With over 128,000 followers, Dian has collaborated with numerous companies to market halal products. The content creation process includes ideation, production, editing, scheduling, and evaluation, involving partnerships with various brands. Dian is committed to providing accurate and relevant information about halal certification, including critical points in food, and educating her followers on choosing halal products, which has resulted in increased public awareness of halal consumption in Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the integration between modern organizational structure theories and classical Islamic thought in order to develop a more effective, adaptive, and value-based model of Islamic educational management. This study employs a qualitative method through literature review, including content analysis of modern organizational theories such as Weber’s bureaucracy, Fayol’s administrative management, Taylor’s scientific management, systems theory, and network theory, which are then compared with the ideas of Al-Mawardi, Al-Farabi, Ibn Khaldun, and Al-Ghazali. The results show that modern organizational theories provide a strong technical foundation through clear hierarchical structures, rational division of labor, systematic coordination, feedback mechanisms, and collaborative network patterns that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of educational institutions. However, this technical framework is insufficient without moral-spiritual dimensions. Classical Islamic thought complements modern structures with values of justice, trustworthiness (amanah), consultation (syura), leadership integrity, social solidarity (‘ashabiyyah), and an orientation toward public welfare (maslahah), which reinforce the legitimacy, ethics, and balance of organizational systems. The integration of these two perspectives produces a holistic and character-based model of Islamic educational management by combining structural professionalism with ethical and spiritual values. Thus, the synthesis of modern theories and Islamic thought becomes a strategic foundation for realizing Islamic educational governance that is excellent, responsive, and sustainable.

Abstract

Leaders in missionary organizations play an important role as agents of change. This is due to the leadership position being at the forefront and the highest regarding matters pertaining to the flow of the missionary organization. The results show that in carrying out this role as agents of change, leaders initiate the change process by making decisions. All activities carried out within a missionary organization are known to be based on decisions that have been mutually agreed upon by the leaders. Next is providing motivation, which means leaders are able to inspire the enthusiasm of the members through motivation, whether by giving rewards or, conversely, through threats that lead to positive outcomes. The following step is in the process of communication networking, meaning that leaders are required to establish good communication networks with the members of the missionary organization.
