Abstract

The online ticketing industry faces challenges in managing fluctuating ticket demand. This study aims to develop an online ticket booking prediction system using the Random Forest algorithm to optimize ticket sales. Using historical ticket booking data, a predictive model is built to project future ticket demand based on variables such as ticket price, booking time, event type, and event location. The data used includes 5,000 randomly selected ticket transactions from online ticketing service providers. The results show that the Random Forest model provides more accurate predictions compared to baseline methods (linear regression and single decision tree). The model achieved MAE of 0.142, RMSE of 0.185, and R² of 0.892, showing significant improvement compared to linear regression (MAE: 0.321; RMSE: 0.398; R²: 0.642) and single decision tree (MAE: 0.218; RMSE: 0.285; R²: 0.754). Statistical testing using paired t-test showed significant difference (p-value < 0.001) between Random Forest and baseline models. These findings indicate that a Random Forest-based prediction system can help ticket providers optimize pricing, inventory management, and ticket sales efficiency, and open up opportunities for the model's application in other sectors.

Abstract

Data is a collection of raw information that can be in the form of symbols, numbers, or words. Supermarkets are a type of modern market that functions as an intermediary between producers and consumers. Along with the increasing convenience of services and payment systems, sales transaction volumes have also increased. Based on this, this study proposes the use of the K-Means algorithm combined with Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) to cluster sales trend patterns. The main purpose of using DTW is to enable the comparison of sales time series that have shifting patterns, thus resulting in a more representative clustering process. The results of the clustering evaluation show that the K-Means configuration with the number of clusters K = 3 produces a Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) value of 3.119, which indicates a relatively good level of cluster separation and compactness. This finding has important significance because it shows that the DTW-based K-Means approach is able to reveal meaningful sales trend patterns and can be used as a basis for strategic decision-making, such as stock planning, promotions, and more optimal supermarket sales management. Thus, the results of this study imply that the DTW-based K-Means approach can be used as an alternative method for analyzing sales patterns in the retail sector. These findings are expected to assist supermarket management in understanding sales behavior, supporting strategic decision-making, and improving the effectiveness of future inventory and promotional planning.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been little systematic mapping of trends and popular topics in student final projects, particularly in the field of Information Technology at Mercu Buana University. This is important because identifying trends can provide insight into the direction of scientific development and student research interests. This study aims to analyze the dominant trends and topics of the past few years in the final projects of Information Technology students at Mercu Buana University. The research object consists of a collection of titles and abstracts of student final projects from 2019 to 2024, totaling 1677 datasets. The data was collected through internal faculty documentation and compiled into a text-based dataset. The analysis process included the stages of preparation, text pre-processing, feature extraction, and the application of two topic modeling methods with BERTopic and LDA. BERTopic uses transformer-based representation and semantic clustering, while LDA utilizes a probabilistic distribution approach. The evaluation was conducted by comparing topic coherence and prediction accuracy to assess the quality and relevance of the results produced by each method. The results showed that there were 15 main topics. Model evaluation was conducted using a coherence score of 0.4 for LDA with an accuracy rate of 100%, while BERTopic had a coherence score of 0.39 with an accuracy rate of 86.01%.

Abstract

Performance evaluation of the Regency/City Offices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs within the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Central Java Province is an important process that must be conducted objectively and measurably. Common issues in performance assessment include the large number of evaluation criteria, uncertainty in performance values, and the tendency toward subjectivity in the evaluation process. This study aims to compare the performance of Fuzzy Logic Mamdani and Fuzzy Logic Sugeno methods in determining the performance level of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from performance evaluation reports of 35 Regency/City Offices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, using five criteria: performance planning, performance measurement, performance reporting, internal evaluation, and performance achievement and accountability. The implementation of the fuzzy inference system was carried out using MATLAB with the Fuzzy Logic Toolbox. The results of data processing indicate that the obtained performance achievement score is 50%, which falls into the “Fair” category, indicating that the work units have a reasonably good level of performance accountability but still require improvements. The comparative analysis shows that both the Mamdani and Sugeno methods produce the same performance values and categories, indicating that both methods can be accurately applied as decision support systems in determining the performance level of the Ministry of Religious Affairs objectively.

Abstract

Internal Bureaucracy Reform (RBI) serves as a strategic instrument for achieving transparent and accountable governance within government institutions. BBPPMPV BMTI currently faces significant challenges in disseminating information across eight reform areas due to conventional and fragmented data management. This research aims to design and develop an RBI Information System utilizing the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) to enhance document management efficiency and information accessibility. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, UML-based design (Use Case, Sequence, and Activity Diagrams), implementation, and rigorous testing. The results demonstrate that the WordPress CMS enables dynamic and autonomous content management by administrators, eliminating the need for advanced programming expertise. Furthermore, integration with Google Drive cloud storage facilitates centralized, real-time report management. Functional verification via Black Box Testing confirms that the system achieved a 100% success rate across all test scenarios, proving it is valid and stable in meeting predefined specifications . In conclusion, this information system provides a structured and informative platform that accelerates bureaucratic reform at BBPPMPV BMTI through adaptive and cost-effective information technology.

Abstract

At the Tungga Jaya Graphic Printing Company, a manual transaction recording system is still used. Problems such as calculation errors, late reporting, and difficulty finding transaction data frequently arise. The purpose of this research is to use a web-based cashier application to improve efficiency and accuracy in managing sales data. Requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation are all stages in the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. The PHP programming language and MySQL database were used to create this system. Implementation results indicate that the web-based cashier application can accelerate printing operations. The average transaction processing time was reduced from 5–8 minutes with the manual method to 2–3 minutes with the system, representing an efficiency increase of approximately 44.8%. Daily sales reports, which previously required 25 minutes, can be automatically generated in less than 5 minutes, resulting in a time savings of approximately 80%. The results of this application indicate that implementing a web-based cashier application at the Tungga Jaya Graphic Printing Company can improve work efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and enhance service quality. This system can also be a digitalization solution for small and medium-sized printing businesses (UMKM).

Abstract

High exposure to ultraviolet radiation in Indonesia increases the risk of skin problems, making the use of sunscreen tailored to skin types essential. Manual selection is often subjective and does not adequately consider relevant criteria. This study develops a web-based decision support system for sunscreen selection at Havya Medika Clinic using the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method to rank 50 product alternatives based on five criteria: SPF, texture, type, size, and price, with SPF assigned the highest weight. Skin type data were obtained through interviews with a dermatology expert, while product data were collected from the technical specifications of various brands. The results show that Facetology Triple Care Sunscreen Tinted SPF 50 PA++++ ranks highest for normal skin (88.33), SCORA Bright Me Up Sunscreen SPF 40 PA++++ for dry skin (85.00), and Labore Acne & Oil Correct Physical Sunscreen for sensitive skin (85.42). User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 15 respondents yielded a score of 526 out of 600 (average of 4.38), with a feasibility rate of 87.67%, indicating that the system is highly feasible. The system effectively provides objective and measurable recommendations based on users’ skin types.

Abstract

Organizations today increasingly rely on digital systems to support daily operational activities, including employee attendance management. Attendance systems are essential in human resource management because they are closely related to discipline, performance assessment, and company administration. At PT. Sembilan Cipta Karya, employee attendance is still recorded using fingerprint devices connected locally, so data processing remains offline. This condition causes delays in attendance recapitulation, limits access to information, and makes administrative data management less efficient. A web-based attendance system is therefore expected to record employee attendance in real time, simplify data management, and generate attendance reports more quickly and accurately, enabling the system to improve administrative efficiency and support management in monitoring employee attendance more effectively. This study aims to design and implement a web-based employee attendance system to increase the speed and efficiency of attendance data management. The research method used is Research and Development with a system development approach based on the waterfall model. The waterfall stages include requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. This research was conducted at PT. Sembilan Cipta Karya using observation, interviews, and documentation studies as data collection techniques. The results indicate that the web-based attendance system can record employee attendance in real time, simplify data processing, and provide downloadable data in Excel format for recapitulation needs. The system is also able to reduce the time required for recapitulation. Efficiency testing was conducted by comparing the processing time of attendance data between the previous system and the new system. The old system required approximately 60 minutes for daily recapitulation and 120 minutes for monthly reports, while the web-based system required only about 15 minutes for daily recapitulation and 30 minutes for monthly reports. Based on calculations using the efficiency formula, the system can save up to 75% of the time, showing that the developed system is more efficient than the previous one.

Abstract

This study discusses the design and development of a webbased New Student Admission System (SPMB) at SMK Muhammadiyah 9 Gambiran using the Research and Development method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, database creation, and implementation.  In its development, the information system was built using the PHP programming language and supported by frontend technologies such as HTML and CSS, to produce a dynamic, flexible, and easily scalable web application for the new student admission system (SPMB). The ultimate goal of this research is to create a new student admissions information system (SPMB) that offers a more intuitive interface, faster access to key features such as news, announcements, form filling, and docume~nt uploads, and responsive display support across various devices.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health problem in Indonesia, particularly due to low patient adherence to long-term therapy. This study aims to design a user interface (UI/UX) for a TB medication reminder application based on the Design Thinking method, emphasizing the involvement of family members as Medication Supervisors (PMO). The design process consists of the empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test stages. Data were collected through interviews and observations involving patient families and healthcare workers, and analyzed using descriptive-qualitative methods. The application prototype was evaluated via usability testing to assess ease of use, effectiveness, and task completion success rates. The results indicate that the developed application increases patient adherence, simplifies medication consumption records, and provides integrated reporting features according to user needs. The average task completion success rate in usability testing reached 85%. This study recommends continued optimization of features and navigation to further support sustainable TB therapy outcomes.
