Abstract

Professional ethics is a set of standards established and accepted by specific professional groups as guidance on how to build and ensure the quality of their profession for its members. This research focuses on the ethics of police, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, and notaries. All of these fall under legal professional ethics, also known as special legal ethics. The research method employs normative legal research and conducts a review of regulations through a comparative approach. The research findings indicate that the relationship between ethics and the legal profession forms an institutional framework that carries out a series of crucial functions in social roles, especially in the development of science, humanities, and the field of education. During the implementation process, these professions do not always operate automatically based on beliefs in the importance of their functions but can be significantly influenced by various social power interactions. Ethics in the legal profession plays a crucial role in achieving fair law enforcement. Therefore, ethics in the legal profession (professional code of ethics) is a highly important part in regulating the behavior of legal practitioners, representing fair law enforcement

Abstract

A company is an organization operated by the people within it to achieve the company's objectives. To achieve product quality, the implementation of an efficient management system is necessary, serving as both a tool for improving company performance and a measure of employee performance. The company's focus is not only limited to the quality of the products produced but also covers aspects such as processes, human resources, and the environment. Therefore, it is important to include the measurement of productive behavior of employees and to be based on quality improvement, which is also grounded in human resource development. This research is qualitative in nature. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory applied in this research is the Quality Management Theory. The research results indicate that the company's performance in providing quality products and services in the era of globalization is continuously increasing, both in terms of human skills, processes, and the environment. This comprehensive improvement is achieved through the Total Quality Management (TQM) approach. Through efficiently managed TQM, parts of the company that require improvements or changes can be identified

Abstract

ISPA is an acute respiratory infection caused by bacteria or viruses, with ISPA sufferers typically experiencing symptoms for 14 days. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are four variables related to the frequency of ISPA, namely: humidity with a value p=0.000 (p<0.05), lighting with a value p=0.49 ( p<0).05), smoking behavior at home with a value p=0.018 (p<0.05) and window opening behavior with a value p=0.005 (p<0.05) and there is only one variable that is not related to the incidence of ARF, namely ventilation with p-value = 0.414 (p>0.05)

Abstract

Attention to the reverse supply chain is increasing due to the increasing value of products and technologies at the end of the supply chain as well as the direct impact of new environmental legislation. Design strategies for reverse supply chains remain relatively unexplored and underdeveloped. Meanwhile, measuring supply chain performance has also become important as understanding, collaboration and integration have increased among supply chain members. It also helps companies to target profitable market segments or identify areas for improvement. Reverse supply chains are seen as one way to increase profits for companies. Company XYZ is a company that operates in recycling products from surrounding shops. This paper will focus on measuring reverse supply chain performance at XYZ recycling company. A simple general framework of the company will be presented as well as its mathematical model. This simple general model is considered applicable by small and medium businesses to optimize their reverse supply chain systems

Abstract

The Punagaya Steam Power Plant (PLTU) is one of Power Plant in the Southern Sulawesi system. Apart from having a positive impact, PLTU can have a negative impact on the environment due to burning coal as fuel. One of the dangerous air pollutants that is often found is Total Suspended Particulate or TSP. This research aims to determine changes in TSP, PM2.5 and PM10 concentration values at the Punagaya PLTU location from May 2022 and June 2023. The method for measuring concentrations of TSP, PM10, and PM2.5 air particles uses High Volume Air Sampler (HVAS) equipment with gravimetric method. Based on the analysis results of air particles around the Punagaya PLTU, the concentrations of TSP, PM10 and PM2.5 per 24 hours at the location still meet the ambient air quality standards set by the government. TSP in the Boiler Area (U1) is in the blue (medium) category, while other measurement locations for TSP, PM10 and PM2.5 at both times are still in the green (good) ISPU category

Abstract

This research aims to find similarities in principles, basic calculations and construction calculation results according to the DNV, RINA and BKI classification bodies, so that the research results can be used by ship owners in choosing the appropriate classification body for their ships. Comparisons were made on Midship construction using the method of tabulating formulas for determining structural dimensions by each classification. In terms of the conditions for using the rules, they are differentiated based on the conditions of the water object, the length of the ship and the construction system object used. The calculation results show that BKI tends to have a larger plate thickness but a smaller modulus, while DNV tends to have a thinner plate but a larger modulus. Ease of reading the rules, in this case DNV has rules that are more "User Friendly" than the other two classification bodies

Abstract

One of the unidentified fungi that occupy habitats or are found in oil palm lands. The importance or urgency of this research is carried out so that various types of fungi in Papua can be properly identified so as to enrich mushroom research data in various types of habitats. This study aims to determine the types and diversity of macroscopic fungi (fungi) found in oil palm plantations in Buasom Village, Unurum Guay District, Jayapura Regency. This study used 5 transects and each transect consisted of 5 observation plots which would be placed in oil palm plantations. The total number of observation plots is 25 with a size of 20 m x 20 m. The collected data will be analyzed using the K, KR, F, FR, INP and H' approach. The results showed that the composition of macroscopic mushroom species in the oil palm plantation of Buasom village, Unurum Guay District, Jayapura Regency as a whole was 24 species of mushrooms in 13 families. The number was distributed in the observation transect, namely, in the first transect 11 species with (H' 2.01) moderate category, in the second transect 7 species with (H' 1.81) low category, in the third transect 12 species with (H' 2.19) medium category, transect fourth 7 species with (H' 1.71) low category and fifth transect 5 species with (H' 1.31) low category
