Abstract

The increasing role of technology in the 21st century has significantly impacted various fields, including education. Students today frequently use digital devices for studying, entertainment, and leisure activities, which directly influences their learning motivation. Mathematics, as a fundamental subject taught from elementary school, requires strong learning motivation to help students grasp abstract concepts and develop logical, analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills. However, many students still exhibit low motivation in learning mathematics. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive learning media in enhancing students' motivation to learn mathematics. A literature study method was employed to examine previous research findings on this topic. The results indicate that the use of interactive media significantly improves students’ motivation and learning outcomes. Furthermore, students display a more positive attitude toward mathematics when learning through interactive media, feeling more engaged and motivated. These findings suggest that interactive media can serve as an effective alternative in mathematics education to foster student enthusiasm and achievement.

Abstract

The Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) was officially introduced by the Ministry of Education and Culture to provide greater flexibility for teachers and students in the learning process through differentiated instruction and competency-based assessment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in Physics education for Grade X students at MAN 1 Aceh Tenggara and identify the challenges faced by teachers and students during its execution. A qualitative descriptive research approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, questionnaire distribution, and documentation of the learning process. The findings indicate that teachers have successfully implemented the Kurikulum Merdeka by integrating Project-Based Learning (PBL), designing Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) or Learning Outcomes, and involving students in structuring the Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) or Learning Objective Pathway, along with the development of teaching modules. However, several challenges persist, including low student engagement in project execution, ineffective time management for planned projects, and difficulties in implementing comprehensive learning assessments. Despite these challenges, the overall implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in Physics education at MAN 1 Aceh Tenggara has been well-executed, offering students a more flexible and meaningful learning experience.

Abstract

The school guidance and counseling program plays a crucial role in supporting students’ academic, personal, and social development. This study aims to evaluate its effectiveness in addressing academic challenges, social adaptation, emotional well-being, and career planning. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with counselors, teachers, and students, as well as document analysis. The results show that structured counseling programs positively impact students’ academic performance and emotional stability while fostering career readiness. Key services such as individual and group counseling, career guidance, and preventive programs contribute to a supportive learning environment. However, challenges like limited counselor availability and students' reluctance to seek help remain. Enhancing collaboration among stakeholders and integrating digital platforms can improve the effectiveness of these programs, ensuring students receive optimal support for their overall development and future success.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in addressing adolescent behavioral changes at SMP Negeri 3 Kediri. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, data were gathered through observations, interviews with BK teachers, students, and school principals, as well as documentation analysis. The findings indicate that various factors, including family dynamics, peer influence, and academic pressure, contribute to behavioral shifts among students. BK teachers employed individual counseling, group counseling, and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, demonstrating effectiveness in enhancing students' self-confidence, emotional regulation, and academic motivation. However, challenges such as limited parental involvement and time constraints in counseling sessions persisted. Despite these limitations, active student participation in counseling programs significantly influenced their behavioral improvement. The study highlights the need for stronger collaboration between BK teachers, school administrators, and parents to optimize the effectiveness of counseling services in schools.

Abstract

Human personality embodies both animalistic and angelic traits, often leading to an internal struggle between these two aspects. At times, individuals are driven by their bodily desires and instincts, while at other times, they are guided by their spiritual needs. In the Qur'an, human personality is referred to as human potential or fitrah, a divine endowment from the Creator. This potential can incline individuals toward goodness or wrongdoing, depending on whether they follow the whispers of desire (nafs) or the guidance of intellect (‘aql). The Qur'an categorizes human personality into three main types: Mukmin (believers), Kafir (disbelievers), and Munafikun (hypocrites). This study explores the structural composition of human personality from an Islamic perspective, analyzing how these classifications reflect the dynamic interplay between spiritual and material inclinations. By examining Qur'anic discourse, the study highlights the underlying principles that shape human behavior and ethical choices. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of Islamic psychology, emphasizing the role of divine guidance in personal development and moral decision-making.
